I've been coming here for many years. I have an old Subaru I don't take to the dealership anymore. I purchased a lift kit and had them install it. I also purchased tires via tire rack and they installed for me.
I had a leak I thought was coming from my oil tank but it was from my transmission which made sense bc I wheel alignment issue and the mount was loose.
They replaced my brake pads and rotors and cost was very reasonable.
The work is good and honest but customer service may be lacking. It's an auto center in Kenilworth not the 4 seasons.
If I could give this place, zero stars, I would. Originally, I brought my vehicle here and the mechanic sounded like he knew what he was talking about. A day later he calls and states that there was an additional issue with the vehicle that needed to be repaired, which I was fine with.
When asked for an itemized receipt of the costs of parts and labor, and a few questions regarding the repairs, he told me to pick up my vehicle and that he did not feel comfortable working on it. Caught off guard, I asked why, he stated that he didn’t like being asked questions and would not work on it.
I don’t know where in the world a business would expect someone to not ask questions or ask for an itemized receipt when spending a large amount of money. No one was ever rude to him or tried to make him feel like he didn’t know what he was talking about. Seems shady and I happily picked my vehicle up. Lacking in professionalism and communication , big time !
I did not have my car checked here however the person who answered the phone was super helpful. I needed to get my car inspected but the guy who answered the phone informed me that since my car is not 5 years old that I can get it done for free at the DMV. He throughly explained what I needed to do. He was very helpful and I am most appreciative. Other places I called in the area did not take the time to explain so this guy saved me a lot of time and money. Thank you again
I stopped going to Better Auto Care cause It seemed like Eli no longer wanted to fix my vehicle. I complained a few times to Eli about a metal on metal touching sound when I turn the corner and also about a bouncy wobbly feeling when driving my car. He CLAIMED he didn't see anything wrong with it. I took it to another mechanic and immediately he was able to identify the problem. Turns out that I need new cv boots ( that's why I was hearing the metal touching metal sound) and I also need new sway bars links with new springs ( that's why I was experiencing the bouncy wobbly feel while driving). How can a trained mechanic not see that. If he really had check out my car or even driven it he would have noticed that right away. I'm not a mechanic and I noticed something was wrong with my vehicle. I use my vehicle to do Uber and that not only dangerous to me but also my passengers and other people on the road, for a trained mechanic to say their is nothing wrong with the car.
I love this place. They never lie about what you need, they look at your car if you bring it in and tell you everything that's wrong or if it doesn't need to be fixed right away. Definitely trustworthy and do great work.
Came in last minute to get my car inspected. They were phenomenal. I was in and out quickly, the price was fair and they were courteous. All around a great, easy experience.
I have never encountered a nastier person that the owner. They do good work but you would ever get me to recommend that auto repair to anyone. You can be good but when you act like a down right jerkoff I take my business elsewhere
My car was jumping. They were very kind and understanding that I was in route.
They stopped what they were doing to fit me in to get me on my way.

Excellent auto repair company. The service is always fast and professional. Benny is a master mechinanic who stays up todate on the newest cars. Eli is always polite and reliable. While most companies are into "customer avoidence" today, Better Auto Care's Benny and Eli go out of the way to provide real excellent customer service. You can be sure you are going to get Better Auto Care.
These guy are probably the among the most honest mechanics I’ve been too. They won’t try and upsell you on repairs your car doesn’t really need and they will fix your car for the least cost to you if at all possible.
Amazing place does all maintenance on the company I work ford vehicles. Fast and great service honest and always calls if there is a issue. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone these aren’t the guys who say oh it’s your brakes fix your brakes then say oh it’s your axle, no, they tell you what’s wrong and get it fixed right the first time.

I won't take my car any place else. Proud to say they have been my mechanics for over 10 years and my friends go there too!! No not cheap, but not over priced either. They are honest, and the job is done right the first time. Ladies if you're looking for a good mechanic go here. Great Service!!
Better Auto Care is top notch. They aren't the cheapest mechanics but they offer something special. Not only are they top notch mechanics they are honest! You never have to worry about being taken advantage of and to me that is priceless. Go and see Ben and Eli and you will not be disappointed.
I gave these guys a 5 star all of them was so nice to me and reasonable as far as pricing they reset my tire pressuregauge which showed up on my dashboard in my car which was so annoying they reset it saving me from spending a lot of money from the dealership thanks again guys appreciate all of you.
Customer service wasn’t great. I came in an got a tune up and it wasn’t done, I had to take it to jiffy lube and they showed me the plugs and they were still the stock plugs. Managers need to check there employees work and make sure it’s done correctly. Also I had one spark plug that was loose and jiffy lube employee took it out by hand which isn’t good. I would only take my car in for inspection never a tune up.

reached out to better auto care, everything was handled smoothly. will definitely return for future services. great people.

Quoted me a price and then jacked it up 85 saying they had used more shop material etc. When I questioned and said I don't mind a few dollars more I was told Pay me the money but don't come back again very very very nasty I will be talking to the kenilworth people about where they service their fire and rescue trucks because if they are beating me , how much are the beating the squad this is very very disappointing , never in my life have i had a business owner act so nasty ,along with his son most owners are understandable and act professional will never never go back , not to mention they forgot to put my oil cap back on my fill and it spewed oil all over the engine compartment
If you want your car to sit a month and have them put police cars and buses in front of yours see a guy name elle he will make sure you are in a uber for the whole summer scam scam scam and they still never fixed it .
