Great experience. Bought a battery online on Saturday evening in their website, I called Sunday morning to check whether they could install it and one later they did a free installation of the new battery. The person working there was very pleasant to deal with, a really good experience.

I needed to change my car battery. I made the appointment on Monday at 2:30 for 3:00. After making the appointment online I called to make sure it was all good and they said come in whenever you are ready. When I got there, the gentleman working was so helpful and kind. He made sure I was getting the correct battery and changed it for me in no time. Pleasant experience all around!

Guys working here are awesome, very friendly and always helpful...I have picked up all my motorcycle, car and lawn mower batteries with them. They even charged one of my new batteries for free when I didn't have a trickle charger....and recently I was missing the tiny rectangular screw for my motorcycle battery and the manager just gave it to me for free and made my weekend - awesome bunch of guys to deal with ??

I needed a battery for a Genie scissor lift, and Batteries Plus had it in stock. I even got a discount, since I'm on their mailing list - I use Batteries Plus for all my automotive and heavy duty lead acid batteries. The clerk at the store was very helpful and even brought the battery out to my truck and took the old one back.

Very helpful. I needed an auxiliary battery (one for the stop/start)for my wife’s Jeep. I checked online and saw this store had the one I needed in stock, but called to make sure. Picked up battery, they charged me a bit less on the core charge from what shown online. Well the battery wouldn’t fit because of a difference with the top casing not allowing the hold down bracket to fit properly. So I called the store back and was told no problem returning it, I then ordered a different battery from a different source. Well after I did that, got call back from the store saying they had a different battery that would probably work. The first battery was a Duracell and the other battery they had which were being replaced was a Power Sonic. Seeing that battery when I returned the first the next day, yes it would have worked, but was patient enough to wait to see it. Was refunded for the first battery. I’ll now know for next time.

Customer service non-existent. Had to get a replacement battery for my mom's SUV. Was bringing in the old battery and the employee was talking to me as if I had no idea what battery I needed. Lousy attitude from the employee and he was argumentative. I have been under the hood of a car on and off since I was 14 years old and been in the automotive industry for 23 years. Never again will I come here for replacement batteries for anything.

My car battery died on a cold day. I placed an online order which offer some discount and went to pickup at the store. The store salesman had the battery ready and did a free installation for me in chilly weather without any hesitation! Great service!

Being a customer of this store is the most infuriating experience I've ever had. I bought a $220 car battery 22 months ago. It failed 10 months ago and I brought it in. They refused to warranty it and I had to leave and keep using it till it got worse. Yesterday I had it fail on me again. I brought in in to the store and Marcus refuses to warranty it again even though it failed his own test. The reason this time is because the electrolyte cap failed and is leaking. They're making me take another 2 hour round trip to bring it back another day so the owner of the store can "look" at it. I will be contacting corporate as well as Deka to let them know what their retailer is doing to customers.

I wanted to support our local business, so I went to this battery shop a couple of times. I had a bad experience both times. The first time, I bought a battery for my car. The battery died a few days later, so I went back to the shop to get it replaced. The staff were dismissive of my concerns and blamed me for having a bad charger. The second time, I bought another battery with same issue. The staff told me I was doing something wrong and I should buy another charger without helping me further and actually lead me out the door while trying to explain what issues I could be having with my charger. I was dumbfounded. I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this battery shop. They are dismissive and unreliable. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Great experience with this store ! Was in the market for 2 Marine batteries and with the Paramus store having shut down, I needed a quick action in order to be able to get ready for Memorial Day. Marcus and Mark assisted me with my purchase and had just what I needed in stock and even set up for next day delivery. Could not have asked for better prices and service. Thank you !!

Car battery died and I was able to order a battery online, get my car jump started, and go straight there. To my surprise they actually installed the car battery on site at no extra cost. This place saved the day today and the price was also super competitive (got an extra 10% off by ordering online for pickup). Highly recommend!

I came here to change a dying battery in my 2010 car. The person at the register was very friendly and clearly explained all the battery options to me. The person who changed the battery was also very helpful and did a great job with the installation.

Tldr - look for Armando if you're getting a phone battery replacement. You won't get help from Brian at the front desk. His customer service is a joke. The best part of the phone battery replacement service was interacting with the technician. He was very knowledgeable and reasonable. I had a good impression of this place until I talked with the staff during the work week. Brian, at the front desk, was dismissive and arrogant. That guy really has an issue. I would honestly suggest this place if it wasn't for how rude he is.

Great store, great people and great service! they sell all types of batteries. They installed a battery in my cell phone for about 50 bucks. They did it while I waited. Took about a half hour. The tech Armando was super friendly and super knowledgeable. They have quality car batteries and they can put a battery in your watch! Thank you!

Ordered Auxiliary Battery for my ML550 online and within few minutes it’s ready for pick. “Awesome” I drove 40 mins in pouring rain to get it. Got inside the store and within few minutes I’m back in my car. “good service”. Thanks I’ll this place to my friends get their batteries there.

It was easy to order online. When I called the store to check on the availability of the item I planned to order, the store employee on the phone, was very helpful. He explained that even though they did not have the one that I inquired about, they did have the store brand. I had not planned to order the store brand since I had never heard about that brand before. After talking to the employee I went back online and ordered the store brand. When I arrived at the store, that employee had left, but the employee there was quick efficient and professional. Of course, the 10% discount helped!

SO incredibly easy to replace my car battery here. Courteous and professional staff, great products. Was able to buy the top rated Duracell brand online and have installed when I arrived. Was in and out super fast.

I dropped and cracked the screen on my brand new phone so I googled nearby places that repair phones. Batteries Plus in North Plainfield, NJ was the 3rd place I called. It was about 30 minutes before closing and a guy named Sammy answered my call. I told him my issue and he explained how it would work as well as how much it would cost. I told him I would call the next day with my credit card to order a new screen. When I called the following day, I placed the order for a new screen and Sammy told me he would call as soon as it came in. He did just that and we made an appointment for me to come in for the repair. When I arrived at the store a few days later, I finally met Sammy in person and he was just as professional and courteous as he was on the phone. He completed the repair in the estimated time and it was done to perfection. I am extremely impressed with the service I received at this Batteries Plus location and with Sammy. I don't think he is the manager of that location but he should be...or at the very least he deserves a raise. As a matter of fact, his level of customer service made me wonder if he worked on commission but I asked him and he said no. Well done Sammy...
