This place is running a predatory towing scam. We parked in the plaza to eat, and when we returned the next day to go to another restaurant in the same plaza, they towed our car within minutes. Employees even said the owner watches people through cameras and tows cars on purpose if you don’t immediately walk into a store. They literally wait and target people to make money.
Our car was gone with no ticket, no notice, no explanation, and no paperwork at all. We were forced to pay $280 in cash to get the car back. The tow lot was in an extremely unsafe area, and they told us the exact minute we stepped off the property — which means they were watching us the entire time. This is not normal towing; this is harassment and a trap.
This place operates like a mafia-style scam, preying on customers so they can tow and collect money. Avoid this plaza and their towing company at all costs. Do not park here, do not shop here, and do not support a business that mistreats people like this.

This plaza is run by a predatory towing company that feels like a mafia-style scam. The owner and his team target unsuspecting drivers, tow cars without warning, and demand unreasonable payments in an aggressive and intimidating way.
We parked our car and when we came back, it was gone with no notice or warning. There were no visible signs or tickets left behind. Later, we found out it had been taken by a nearby towing company that charged $280 in cash or $290 by credit card, even though their own sign said $250.
When I asked for a ticket or any paperwork, the man rudely said there was no ticket while smoking a cigarette in my face. He was aggressive, dismissive, and clearly didn’t care about treating people with any respect.
We had to walk through a dark, unsafe neighborhood in the middle of the night with our 4-year-old child to reach the lot. The whole experience felt threatening and unsafe.
This is not a legitimate operation. It’s set up to take advantage of people and scare them into paying. We were just relieved to get our car back, but the experience was deeply upsetting.
Avoid this plaza at all costs.
Report them if you can. No one should go through this.
Best shop around they do best work on my car I always go to them for years they took care of me I got stuck and they came at 2 am picked up my car the next day was fixed and very good price the car it’s better then before

I came to Plaza First to grab some food and parked in the lot right there. After that, I walked just two stores down to quickly pick up one more thing. I was gone for maybe 10 minutes max. When I came back, I saw my car already being towed!
This is nothing but a money grab. The towing company and the lot owner are clearly working together to trap people. No warning, no grace period — just wait for someone to step off the lot for a second and boom, they snatch your car. It feels like dealing with the mafia.
They don’t care about helping the community or running a fair business — it’s just about taking your car and charging ridiculous fees to get it back. Absolutely disgraceful.
Avoid this place at all costs. Don’t shop here, don’t park here, and don’t support businesses that let this kind of predatory behavior happen.

Even worse, they threatened not to give my car back even if I paid! They were rude, aggressive, and intimidating the whole time.
This is not a legitimate business — it’s a trap set up to steal money from innocent people.

Scammer Alert - they along with their other cronies snoop around the Main Street and find a reason to tow cars because that’s how they make money. Then they charge you extra despite the rate being 100-200 and make excuses about how “it’s late” and “the lot is closed”. Be careful shopping around Main Street and watch out for these scammers.

The tow fee is $195 in this picture, and the storage car rate is $45; however, the guy told us that there is a late charge fee as well. Where is it written? No where, and then the guy I spoke with was very rude, which makes no sense considering I was planning to head to Antepli Baklava 2 after my coffee. They are simply making money. There was no receipt or nothing I told the guy to give me the Email and name of the owner he said it’s too long i don’t know. He just showed me the QR code and said $300. And it’s Saturday night I just parked there to GET MY COFFEE for 5 minutes. VERY RUDE
Scammer alert: Beware of getting towed by this company and, if possible, avoid parking/shopping at 1010 South Paterson Plaza. This company towed my car on Sunday 1/21/2024 at 2pm from 1010 South Paterson Plaza and charged me $300 (no receipts, no explanation of charges). I called them in less than 10 minutes after they had picked my car and I was told to pay $300 to get my car back. Imagine $300 for a parking violation (less than 10 minutes) even though the plaza clearly mentions 1-hour parking limit with no instructions for consumers regarding parking specification for in-plaza customers only (see attached photo). The charges as mentioned are $195 plus $45 storage fee but they will charge you an additional $60 saying that’s an early pick up fee even though the instructions don’t specify early pick up charges and absolutely no mention of closure on Sundays. They also damage your car in towing. My car is making some unexpected noises now. So if you are ever towed by this company, make sure you check your car before you leave the lot because that maybe an additional $ for the repair.
