This is close to home, and the kids love it. I definitely recommend it, but it's small, so you have to get here early. Great parking and walk across the street to the beach. It's all free, so get here early and avoid crowds on weekends. It's not as crowded on weekdays, but with summer, you never know. Get here early.
This is the best bay beach. It's free, clean, and a life guard during the summer! Can't bring your dog unless you stay by the playground. The playground has a giant pirate ☠ ship. Also has picnic tables. And plenty of benches to sit and watch the boats going in and out of the bay. Pretty much something for everyone. Best kept secret in Bayville! And if you go across to the island that you see in picture there's a really cool board walk and secluded trails along the bay! And this part is cool to bring your dog ?. If you don't want to swim across it's just a short drive. Look on Google maps for the name of the street. Cause there's parking there. So walk to end of boardwalk and explore the island!
It’s very nice and relaxing. Sometimes their is barely an jellyfish which is awesome. However, whenever there might be seaside, the biting flys come and there is sometimes goose poop.overall, good beach
A great place to relax and enjoy the view. It's more of a family oriented atmosphere. To the right of the shore is an awesome updated play ground for the children. (Keep an eye on your children, behind the playground is river bank.) And a boat ramp near by for some ocean fun! Please do clean up after yourself and help keep Berkeley Shores clean and beautiful!
Just a nice place to park and look out to the bay, also can fish& I take my puppy there who loves to dig in the sand. Yes I always pick up after him.??
I love parking by the bayside with my dogs in car, give them treats while we look out into water watching the boats go by. They have swings for the kids, and beach for sunbathing. My favorite time to go is at dusk and dawn.
This place is paradise at the Jersey shore. They have a playground , bathroom, and nice clean sand all for free while you watch the boats go in and out of barnegat bay all day long . Perfect for people of any age and set in a beautiful neighborhood.
It's beautiful. They have people who come and keep it nice looking. Sadly went during jellyfish season but those were cool to see. ( not to touch) you can net up some flounder and puffer fish too. ( throw them back though.)
Great mostly waterfront community with access to Barnegat bay. About half an hour to Barnegat inlet at planing speeds once you get into the bay. Nice private beach and newer playground for the kids.
Beautiful just to there and look out into water. I go often just to clear my head. I bring my dog we walk along don't go on Beach when she's with me we have that for Island State Beach Park. It's beautiful early in mornings when nobody is there just to sit on sand and chill out free your mind or even in early evenings I'd very nice to go also! I highly recommend hear. A big plus it not far from home! ?
