I took a 2013 Honda Pilot to Tim of Mountain Lakes Motors for a pre-purchase inspection. Tim was professional and thorough. He test drove the car with me, put it up on a lift, found and documented several issues with the car, discussed them with me, answered my questions, and estimated repair prices for each issue. I took the list of issues back to the car dealer and negotiated a discount for the car, which I ended up buying and taking to Mountain Lakes Motors to repair the issues. Tim was responsive to my phone calls and text messages. It was a pleasant experience and left me feeling confident that my car is well cared-for.

I went to mountain lakes motors for a flat tyre, and they helped me through the process. The crew is very friendly and the area is also pretty nice. You can take a walk in the neighborhood while they work on your car. The train station is very close so you can drop off your car as well. Their rates are pretty standard as well.

Always great service and fairness at ML Motors. We have been using them for the last 9 years since we moved into ML. I wish we had used them for the prior 11 years from when we moved into the area. Case in point, I recently had a check engine light come on for my 2012 Highlander Hybrid - I called Tim and he said bring it on in. In 5 mins we had it correctly diagnosed (loose fuel cap) and the check engine light fault reset! Go ML Motors!!!

These guys are unbelievably good and very trustworthy. This is the first time I’ve felt morally obligation to write a review to let others know how an auto mechanic in this day and age could make you stunned with manner, honesty, skill and commitment all at the same time. Honestly speaking, they’ve made me speechless. I needed to do an oil change for my Lexus RX-350. I went to a dealer to do so because of the weekend convenience. That dealer gave me a laundry list of stuff I have to fix that would cost me thousands. I was suspicious about their suggestion since I bought the car recently. I was looking for somebody whom I can trust. Bingo, I have found this place right near me. They checked all items on the list I got from the dealer and could not find a reason why those’re on the list. They fixed my newly appeared on again and off again AWD sign issue like a magic costing me only hundreds. They suggested future actions if that sign ever shows up. They were very calm with smiling faces. Can you believe this! If I would not be speechless after that, I know I had to go to see a doctor :).
