Jeff is super kind and knowledgeable, handled everything with ease. Ashley as well, super knowledgeable and quick with the job. I got a tire patched, but they knew about my oil and engine issues as well. Highly highly recommend you come by here... This isn't just a corporate owned store, these guys were super helpful!

Just a little back story, the men in my life are not car guys so when I have issues with my car I have to bring it into a mechanic. It was already late when the noise started, I was at target and I have had people rave about this Pepboys location. At first I went to Mavis and I felt as though some of the things they were telling me seemed off, so I came to Pepboys for a second opinion. After bringing the quote from Mavis to Jeff and Jenn I immediately knew this is where I should be. Jeff took his time to explain to me exactly the issue and the parts I needed, along with anything that my car needed. So glad I chose to get another opinion, everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The waiting room is phenomenal from the tv to the play room for my daughters. I will be coming back and recommending to anyone I know!

I can not say enough good things about Jenn and her team. I am having to leave town on very short notice for a family emergency and wouldn't you know it, the car breaks down. Jenn and the whole team were able to diagnose the problem and get me back on the road in a very timely manner. Jenn did not have to squeeze me in but considering the circumstances she showed so much understanding and empathy during an already heightened stressful time. I will never go to another shop as this shop provides 5 star service.

This Pepboys is my go to place for my car anytime I have a emergency with my car I call up and I always get great customer service the manager jenn is amazing so knowledgeable and respectful Jeff is also amazing the guys always get my car fixed and taking care of I highly recommend this location !!!!

One of my blinkers went out and needed to be replaced. I called Pep Boys late afternoon on a Saturday and they were able to accommodate a same day appointment. They were able to fix up what I needed quickly. All of the staff were very friendly and the waiting room was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend!

I would have to say that this was the best customer service from any company with any product or any service that I have experienced. The store manager was fantastic. She knew what she was talking about was able to give me a quote was able to explain problems, and did it in a timely fashion. I was extremely impressed and have already referred people. I would not hesitate to go back there. As a matter of fact, I will probably now go there for all of my maintenance and repairs on my car.

Called Pep-boys and Jen answered with such a friendly helpful voice. Within minutes she had me in the car was in the bay and my flat tire resolved and I was in my way. The price was awesome and Jen saw to it with the utmost professionalism that I was on my way back on the road safe and happy! Highly recommend this location and company again and again! Jenn at pep boys in Oakhurst New Jersey was an absolute professional took care of our problem with our tires very quick courteous professional and they're very friendly happy personality to boot was fantastic to deal with total professional and I never fill out a feedback but this time I just had to say something about a job being done right you guys are great

I needed tires a few months ago and they were able to go and they sent someone to get them from another store. I was in and out without an issue. Polite and professional. I went back on Monday as my car was vibrating and within 20 minutes I was back on the road. Ice was in the wheel wells. Many thanks!

Jenn gave superior experience. When I arrived into the store Jenn immediately listened to my concern reassured me she would take care of my concern. My vehicle was taken in right away. Jenn was very communicative and was able to take care of my concern right away. I had my vehicle back within a few hours. I am very satisfied with the exceptional service that Jenn provided. Rotated my tires for free!! Service was quick and the workers had great hospitality. Also have a nice seating area behind the counter and I was very comfortable☺️☺️

The best Pep Boys I've been to by far. Courtesy, excellent mechanics and making sure that the customer is happy. I call that excellent management and I'm not easy to please in car work stuff. Trust my word, they deserve the high reviews 👍

Stopped in because I had a bolt in my tire. They took me right away. Jeff was patient and explained everything. Turns out there was a second nail in the same tire and they were able to internally patch and plug both. Super helpful and kind!

Got a flat New Year’s Eve and was so relieved to be able to repair the tire on New Year’s Day. Service by Jeff was great and would definitely recommend! Will continue using their services going forward.

Away from home at 5 o'clock on a Sunday and realized there was a nail in my tire. Pep Boys was the closest thing I could find open. I assumed I was gonna go in and get it tire plug kit and was pleasantly surprised to meet Jeff who took care of the whole thing for me. Incredibly grateful that they were able to get me in and out so close to closing time. Thanks Jeff you're the best!

I went in for a battery checkup today. The staff was very friendly and attentive. John took care of me, and despite the volume of business on Saturday, they were able to check and change my battery in under an hour. And there wasn't a hard upsell for other service work. I will definitely be coming here in the future for routine maintenance work on my 2018 Honda civic. Lastly they just refreshed their waiting room and it is very comfortable with free wifi and coffee. Nice work team!

I had a great experience at Pep Boys last night. I got a flat tire on Black Friday evening and called them right before closing. They told me they would still help, and I had my car towed to their location about 30 minutes before they closed. The team fixed my tire quickly and did not charge me. I am extremely satisfied with their service. The front desk staff was very polite and answered all my questions. I really appreciate their help and recommend this location to others.

I went on a Thursday morning to get a front passenger light fixed and the service was amazing! I waited no less than an hour in their new renovated lounge where I was able to get some work done in between. The guys at the front desk were amazing and so thoughtful. I will be back for their Black Friday tire sale! Great job guys!

Went in yesterday, made and appointment for Sunday 11am, but went in earlier around 10:45 because I wanted to be prompt of the usage of the manager coupon Pepboys have advertised. Unfortunately I was there for 2+ hours. A regular/ synthetic oil change with tire rotation and new windshield wipers obviously doesn't take that long. To me, seems like they forgot me being there, but front desk worker claimed they were "busy". After waiting an hour until I finally said something then then the employees proceeded to work on my car. But they made this situation right by comping the whole service for me. I appreciated that gesture. Things happen and at least I wasn't in a rush to do anything else.

Other then the same story of “I only have one mechanic here there is going to be a wait” they do good work… I mean I have been going here for over 20 years and whether it’s a weekday or the weekend appointment or not they still have only one person 😂. Anyway they are pretty fair with the pricing and are very upfront with what is needed done and the $.

Pep Boys on Rt35 Ocean Township NJ has the BEST EXCEPTIONAL Auto Service in my Opinion ! Jen & Jeff [Managers] Chris Chan [Master Technician] & Cooper John [Advisors] are Extremely Courteous Professional Knowledgeable & Customer Friendly . My 2014 Nissan Xterra Pro4X has been Serviced/Repaired at this location a few times & the results have been perfect! I Highly Recommend this specific PepBoys Location for all your Vehicle issues. I had a terrible experience at the PepBoys North Brunswick location last week. Vehicle Repair Estimates were falsely Inflated for unnecessary replacement parts! I had my Nissan Xterra towed to the the PepBoys Ocean Township location & all issues were fixed at half the cost. I am extremely satisfied with the Service provided at the PepBoys Ocean Township location. Thanks 🙏 Frank R

This shop is run by many people who had clear communication of what was necessary for my car to be running its best. I was able to discuss options, price and best options within what I could afford at the time. Jeff communicated my best options and made sure I had what I needed without going over budget or having unnecessary work done. Joe also gave me advice on where to take my vehicle for a more trusted dealership issue. I would recommend this shop and the workers for their communication and support within your means.

Great service. Had a flat in the morning and went to the Ocean township branch. A fella named Jeffrey helped me out with quality repairs rather quickly. I'll be coming back soon for a follow up maintenance based on their recommendations.

I was traveling to NJ for the weekend. Break issues during travel. Pep Boys got me in within 45 min of me calling for a possible appointment. They were very thorough with communication, keeping up to date with what was needed, when the vehicle would be ready and worked with my schedule of events. The entire team was very friendly and helpful. I am very grateful for their prompt assistance and ease of resolving the issue, allowing me to continue my plans throughout the weekend.

Jeff is a really great guy and always honest and courteous with his guests! I’m very happy this location is lucky to have him as their assistant manager. Jeff is truly an invaluable asset to the team and I’d highly recommend working with him and his team for your needs! Jennifer is the manager and also a sweetheart that is very compassionate and patient with sitting down with you to thoroughly review your vehicle’s diagnosis and your options to make an informed decision based on your needs. She really cares about her customers and employees with a level of warmth that is unmatched and I have never seen such great service elsewhere. Chris (Chan) is the expert master tech who is honest and does a great job performing work on vehicles. I cannot thank the team enough for providing exceptional experiences to me.

11/1/2024 I took my son's car to Pep Boys for new tires. They informed me that I also need a wheel alignment for the 4 new tires purchased. While we were waiting for the car to be fixed, they called my cell phone and informed me that his left front control arm and sway bar needed to be fixed. This was not surprising to me because our regular mechanic had recently said it had to be fixed as well. Pep Boys said it was very important to fix it because my son could get into a very bad accident if it was not repaired. I agreed to have it fixed. We picked up the car the same day when it was ready. The receipt showed the control arm and sway bar were fixed. I took my son's car in for maintenance last week and found out the left control arm and sway bar was never fixed. I contacted Pep Boys and spoke to manager Dominic. I took the car in on 2/15 and the head mechanic looked at the car. The right control arm was fixed and not the left. The right one did not need to be repaired. They repaired the wrong side leaving my son vulnerable to an accident. I wasted money on a service that did not need to be provided. This is complete negligence. I contacted Better Business Bureau with a formal complaint and a woman from Pep boys called me back about a week later. They then lied to BBB and said this issue was resolved and the correct part was replaced. She was supposed to be back in touch with me regarding reimbursement and never returned my call. They are a scam and I will be following up on being taken advantage of and being charged over one thousand dollars for services done incorrectly.
