If you're looking to SELL a car, there are many better places like cars&bids or bringAtrailer. I submitted my 93 Camaro to Rudy at guys with rides and he accepted it. He even put up an early auction preview on his website. The auction was supposed to go live on 5/20 but as of 5/16 I had not heard from him. They're supposed to have a PPi done, hire a photographer and do a few other things prior to the auction going live. On 4/28 I sent in the front and back of both my title and my drivers license as directed. That same day I rec'd an email saying they'd got my email and would be in touch-----> "Thank you for submitting pictures of your Title and Photo ID. We are now working on your ride's listing and will contact you shortly about it. We look forward to helping sell your classic or collector car. Talk soon, Rudy" About 3 weeks go by and I email Rudy asking what's up with the auction that's supposed to go live in a few days? He responds ----------> "A quick update: I don't have a record of you sending me a copy of the title (front and back) as well as a photo ID. I need those to keep my lawyer happy that I've done my due diligence" At that point I realized I'm dealing with someone who doesn't take their job (hobby?) seriously and told him I was going to sell my car elsewhere. There's a reason why guys with rides only ever has 1 or 2 car auction per month. Don't waste your time trying to sell here folks. Edit 5/22/26 : Rudy charged my credit card $9.99 on 4/28 and I just noticed he refunded the $9.99 on 5/20. Rudy, if there was a question of provenance with my vehicle why didn't you reach out to me? If it was so agregious that you choose to abandon the listing altogether, you could have at emailed or called to ask questions and let me know! Someone on Facebook marketplace said something negative about my car and you just cancelled the listing? You put it on FB marketplace?? I don't understand. What was said exactly? I'd love to know. I wasted a lot of time trying to sell my car on your crappy little website. You're very unprofessional sir. You NEVER contacted me after the initial acceptance of my car. How could I make a video with you about the car if you don't contact me? Your excuses are pathetic. Please shred the photos of my drivers license and title OR send me a copy of the front and back of your driver's license and car title so we're even.

Educated, Knowledgeable and brings all the data,Trustworthy. So many decades at auctions and cars so many regrets in the past I would use Rudy for my next purchase or sale. Just makes good sense.
