Carlos and Ramon are amazing driving instructors! They’re super patient, clear with their explanations, and made lesson feel calm and stress-free. They really pay attention to what you need to improve and give helpful tips that actually stick. I felt more confident behind the wheel after every lesson. They’re professional, encouraging, and genuinely care about their students’ success. Highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive!

This is the worse driving school. All they care about is money and they’re liars. The female I was speaking to who’s name is Jay is a big liar. Don’t waste your time or money. I don’t recommend them at all. The first time I did a driving lesson, they paired me with someone who does not speak English at all and they knew I did not speak Spanish. I recently made another appointment at 6pm for the same thing. They gave me an appointment for the next day, so once I got home which is 3 blocks away, I called multiple times at 6:30pm to reschedule because I felt sick immediately and no one picked up. I woke up and called multiple times at 9:00am and no one picked up. I called a different number and they told me to call the office and I told them no one was picking up. So they said they will tell them to call me. Once I reached them, the first lie they told me was they were calling me because they saw a missed call from me which is a lie, someone else told them to call me. I told them that I wanted to change the date for the next day because I was sick and in the hospital and they told me that I needed to call 24hrs ago and I told them that I made an appointment less than 24hrs ago and I call 30mins after I made an appointment and no one picked up and they said that they would have to charge me $50 for a late fee and no matter what. Then they said they close at 7pm and I told them I called before that and they said I did not call them because they were there and I got the call log to prove it. So I paid $90 for the service and now I have to pay $50 for a late fee, which is $140 down the drain. I asked for an accommodation and they did not want to. This is the worst experience I ever had. I don’t recommend them at all.

I had a great experience with Carlos at Ideal Driving School. He’s incredibly helpful, experienced, and very patient, which makes a huge difference when you’re learning to drive. He explains things clearly, breaks everything down step by step, and makes sure you really understand what you’re doing instead of just going through the motions. Carlos is also very thorough and detail-oriented. He points out exactly what you need to improve on and gives practical tips that actually help you feel more confident behind the wheel. I always felt supported and never rushed. Highly recommend Carlos if you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely cares about helping you become a safe and confident driver.

Carlos is great! He is funny and kind. His teaching is seriously good. He helps me to actually understand how driving works. And l pass the first time after only three classes with him. I also wanna give credit to the rest of the staff at the school as well. Mirta took me to the road test. She helped me to practice before the tests and calmed me down. She is also very supportive!!!

I passed my road test because of Carlos!! I’m very thankful for him and for Ramon for taking me there. Carlos helped me a lot and got me confident to take the test. He’s very patient and I don’t feel pressured to be perfect. Thank you!!

I’m so grateful for this school helping me to pass my test , and because they have wonderful training teachers mine was jadira I think it was her name but when I passed the test I jumped inside the car and gave her a hug 🙏..

I had an amazing experience with this driving school. Carlos was my instructor and he was honestly the best instructor I’ve ever had. He taught me exactly how the real road test was going to be, step by step. He was patient, calm, and really made sure I understood everything. I’ve had other instructors before and didn’t feel comfortable but with Carlos, I finally felt confident and prepared. For the actual road test, Hugo was the one who took me, and I definitely recommend him too. He explains everything clearly, tells you exactly what to expect, and goes over every detail just like the real test. No sugar coating he tells you how it is, which really helped me feel ready. Overall, if you’re booking with this driving school, pick Carlos as your instructor and Hugo to take you to your test. You will NOT regret it! Not to mention passed on my very first try!

This school did it for me! I pass just taking 3 classes and it was easy and the driving instructor(teacher) Carlos was super nice and one of best teacher the school has to offer, his teaching method is straight forward and are helpful.

This establishment has the worst customer service. I bought a package with them. They only care about money and not the actual students. My instructor was phenomenal but the back office lacks customer service and communication. They changed the time of my road test from afternoon to early morning, without prior notification or communication. I felt rushed. I called the office the next day to purchase another package, as a returning customer. They put me on hold for 12 minutes and then the call dropped. I called back and it rang endlessly. I left a message with someone who works there for the office to call me back and they never did. I was forced to find another school. This establishment is extremely difficult to talk to over the phone. You have to show up in-person. It is not worth the trouble.

Big thank you to Ernesto and Carlos. They were both patient and explained everything I needed to know about the road test thoroughly. I passed my test easily thanks to them.

I had a really amazing experience thanks to Carlos , he taught me how to park & all the instructions necessary for the test . I was able to pass on my first try and manage to get my driver license. Although the front desk assistant at the location need to fix their attitude and how they manage . Overall thanks to Carlos I had a great experience and I’m lucky he was my teacher . Couldn’t had done it without him .

10/10 recommend! I 100% recommend Carlos to practice with for your road test! I was not comfortable with parking and k turn which made me extremely nervous for the road test but Carlos reassured me and taught me everything he knows! If I didn’t understand one way, he showed me another way. His instruction was clear, and he was very patient! Thanks to him I passed my road test! So i’m extremely grateful!

I am very thankful for Carlos and Hugo. I took my practice driving classes with Carlos and he was a great instructor. Super patient with me and always made sure I understood what he was teaching me. Everything he taught was exactly like it was on the test. Parallel parking, K-turn, reverse, etc. Hugo took me took my driving test and I passed. Carlos and Hugo teach almost the exact same, so I didn’t really struggle with that. Hugo is very kind aswell. He’s very reassuring. Thank you again to both because I don’t think I would have passed without them.

passed my road test at Lodi on my first attempt today and got my very first driver’s license! 🎉 A big thank you to my instructor, Carlos, who was always patient and gave clear, straightforward instructions. He even took me on the highway during my very first class—which was intimidating at first—but it helped me quickly build confidence. I really appreciated how he never minded repeating reminders without any frustration. On the day of the test, another instructor, Ernesto, accompanied me and did his best to keep me calm and relaxed. Overall, I had a very positive experience taking lessons with them and would definitely recommend!

Excellent driving school, this was my first time learning how to drive and I ended up passing my road test all thanks to Carlos & Ernesto’s help. I highly recommend their classes for anyone looking to learn a bit more, you guys have been the best throughout my stay.

On Tuesday I passed my road test all thanks to my wonderful instructor Carlos! I had previous experience driving before taking lessons with Ideal Driving School, but the lessons I took with Carlos gave me the skills and confidence I needed to pass my test. He has the patience all students need in order to not only improve their driving, but also enjoy it. His explanations are simple and to the point, breaking down skills into simple steps that are easy to remember and follow even when under pressure during the road test. I highly recommend it !! I passed my road test in one go. All the credit goes to my instructor Carlos and Ramon . I was very nervous when I started out with my first class . But at the end of the day I gain confidence in driving. Thankyou Carlos for making me believe that I can do it . He was patient, calm and taught everything in detail. All the tricks & tips of Ramon helped me a lot in parallel parking , K turn & reverse parking . Appreciate it . He has been a excellent teacher .
