It took me 3mins and 42 seconds to get my car inspected. Residing in NJ doesn't have ANY perks but the car inspection process is the closest thing to being considered a positive NJ experience.

Don't wait til last minute. Plan it right, go when they aren't busy, be smart. I was in and out in 20 minutes and everyone was very friendly!

Forgive me if I spell his name wrong, but had the pleasure of Jarnelle or Darnell to inspect my vehicle this morning, along with Shannon. Very friendly service and quick! Thank you for the laughs and kindness.

I went on a really cold day at the end of January. Folks were friendly and most were dressed for the Arctic. Very short waiting time.

They were quick and polite. No issues. Plus you didn't have to make a appointment like you have to in Salem County.

Just showed, up nobody else was there. It was a Wednesday around 10:30am. In and out in 5 mins.

I would give them 5 stars for the process. But the guy completely unnecessarily ripped my phone mount off of my dash, just to put the friggin sticker on the windshield…reach around!? Never letting anyone touch my crap again, now it’s messed up & won’t stick to my dash anymore. Jerk owes me a new car mount.

I have to say that the New Jersey motor vehicle inspection station has gotten a lot better they're a lot faster you don't have to wait in line with hundreds of cars I pulled in I was the third car in line they've done a great job very polite very respectful I'll receive my new sticker and I was on my way

Highly recommend this inspection station. I guess it depends on when you go but the wait isn’t really that long and so far the people have been nice that work there. And I’m always real happy when I pass inspection..

I'm convinced that part of the requirement for working at MV is rudeness and no personality! Except for the woman that takes the pics for ID, everyone else I delt with were rude, cocky, and made it perfectly clear they couldn't care less! Be prepared to wait, even with an appointment, and don't expect smiles! I only gave 2 stars out of respect for the woman who was decent!

They are the worst. If you don't have an appointment you can forget about getting assistance. The website is horrible to navigate. And you have to know what you are looking for to find correct information from Google.

15 minutes from arrival to done. Doesn't get any easier. The people there were professional and nice. Years ago this place was a nightmare.

BRILLIANT!!! GenX remembers planning the whole day around an inspection day. Packing lunches for the kids, having to take the day off. Losing a days pay. Hours and hours waiting for your turn....now...omg inwas in and out in 15 minutes!!! Cheers to too. Let your friends and the DMV on your secrets. They are even worse since covid...appointment BS!!

I drove from Newark New Jersey to get my daughter’s car and she goes to college in PA then from Pa we drove to this inspection station..( we no Pa residents) …We was there for maybe 10 mins and was done!!! And the staff was really nice too!!!! Shout to the staff member who told me to go back around because we didn’t get a ticket and was very nice about it too!!!!

I took a chance and stopped in today. There was maybe a 10 min wait. Much better than the hours and hours of waiting that was once the norm.

It was fine, not too exciting. It’s never fun to get a car inspection. The wait was not terribly long either. Sometimes when you go to these places, the people working there are incredibly cranky, borderline mean, but they did not seem to be having that issue today.

This inspection station is always really quick in my experience. This time I went there because a police officer told me that I needed to get my truck inspected even though it's electric. Which was the opposite of what I've heard from others. I went to get inspected and I was greeted by a super nice woman who told me the officer was wrong, I just needed to remove the inspection sticker so they didn't give me a hard time. She even removed it for me then sent me on my way. Thank you nice woman!

Took about 15 minutes, in and out. Make sure you grab a ticket! The people were pleasent which helps! I appreciate everyone there.

Quick and efficient, and they’re open Saturdays until 12. I’m giving 2 stars because the inspector who affixed my inspection sticker was disrespectful towards me when answering a fairly simple question, and was creepy towards the woman in line ahead of me. If someone who had just seen my license and home address made a joke to me about coming to my house the next day (even if it is for a “Super Bowl Party”), and I was in her shoes, I’d be extremely uncomfortable. I’m glad I don’t have to come back for another 2 years.
