Just saw the story about the creepy guy asking personal questions and forcing himself on that girl who called him to pick up her car. Same thing happened to me as well.
95 percent of our bad reviews are people reviewing the wrong company.we know this due to the content in the review writing such as driver names and calling aaa in which we don't even work with aaa and calling Google doesn't help in removing so make sure u have right company before leaving negative comments. Same goes for Melissa who wrote a 1 star review u have the wrong anthonys towing
GREAT SERVICE! Luis just towed my car and he was super helpful, friendly, and efficient. I really appreciated the exceptional service during a hard time.
My car broke down about an hour away from home - David from Anthony's Towing in Clifton towed my car. He was the most unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with.
First, he didn't want to tell me he was from AAA and everything went downhill from there.
He could have taken rt 10 to get to where I needed to go quickly, but instead he went through Morristown and took about a half hour more than it should have.
The entire ride, he made me feel so uncomfortable and asked me extremely personal questions.
Some of the questions he asked and comments he made are as followed...
"why wouldn't you want to have babies?"
"is my job degrading to you? what, are you looking for a rich husband or something?"
"you look like you're at the age where you should be having babies"
"I want babies, work isn't everything"
"you look like the type whose dad pays for everything"
"does your daddy pay for your insurance and car"
"are you salary or hourly"
"what is your nationality - are you sassy and have an attitude because you're Spanish?"
"what kind of Spanish are you?"
"you're being mean to me and giving me an attitude but I just saved you from being stranded"
The list goes on and on...
I eventually had a friend call me and I stayed on the phone with her until I finally got to the car repair shop.
Once we got to the repaid shop he lingered outside and stared at me.
From start to finish I made it very obvious that I was in no way interested in anything other than getting to my destination.
I felt scared and unsafe. He knew I was in a vulnerable position and he made the entire experience worse.
But wait! I am not done just yet... once I was inside of the car repair shop, he went inside the shop as well and gave me a note with his number on it. I found this to be the most unprofessional part of this entire thing.
I truly have PTSD from this awful and uncomfortable experience and I hope he never makes another woman feel the way he made me feel. Please do better.
PS - if you're going to leave a girl a note, learn how to spell.
The service we received from George was fast, efficient, and friendly. We were originally told service would arrive in 3 hrs. George called within 15 minutes and was there in another 20 minutes. He was so friendly and had our tire changed quickly!
Got Anthony's towing thru AAA and Tyler came to assist me. He was phenomenal! Courteous, professional, knowledgeable. Would definately recommend Anthony's and Tyler anytime!
Send out a young man who really doesn’t know what he is doing and caused vehicle damage …this was through triple a.
I wouldn’t recommend this company at all.
I have AAA so I called them cause I locked my keys in my car. They had Anthony's towing come to unlock it. The guy didn't know what he was doing. Got oil grease on my car, scratched the top part of the roof where the door connects and the black part of the door doesn't match up any more. Not 100% happy but at least I got in.
Pedro was fantastic. We locked our keys in at MetLife Stadium and it took us a while to get to him to show him where our van was. He waited patiently and was a delight to work with. He had the door open in 5 seconds. I highly recommend them.
Prices quoted were great. Needed a tow, was told to text the address of where i was stranded and wait 45mins...waited an hour and when i called back several times to see where he was or if he was even coming, no one picked up the phone AND the voicemail was full.
Would have loved a follow up call saying if he was on his way or not coming at all...

Disrespectful towers. If you aren’t happy at what you do, think of a different career that suits your personality. I wouldn’t recommend this towing company if you care about your car. Choose an alternate route. Anthony’s towing holds no value to their name with Pete/Pedro on their team.
My car controllers arms broke i was stranded, luckily i was able to park at a gas station. I searched on google for towing company and saw Anthony’s towing after reading some negative reviews like SCAM. I still called he told me that it was going to take a while i was fine with that. I left the car with the keys and the cash along with the address to take my car not only he was trustworthy he was also reliable. Thank you!
And folks don’t believe all the negative bs you see online as a business owner i know this can hurt a business.
Super fast and efficient service...I called and he arrived within 15min to me. The price is reasonable and the driver was so nice and accommodating. He made me and my 8 month old son really comfortable.

Anthony's just saved the night . I have to be to work at 4 a.m and couldnt get a affordable jump from no one , not even people on the street. Anthonys not only saved my night but I only waited 20 mins . Guess who can go to sleep and can get at least 5 hours . Thank You Anthony's ❗
My front left axle broke as I turned into a parking spot. The car gears locked up and the front left wheel was useless. The guy from this place pulled off a miracle to tow it to my mechanic. Without getting it towed, I would been absolutely screwed. I thankfully called the right place.
Cant thank them enough they provided me with clean,fast,caring,and affordable service. They went that extra mile to help me you dont find that kinda of service anymore thanks a million i recommend them to anyone!

To be honest, im giving Anthony's towing 5 stars solely because Anthony was kind, helpful and informative. He was ready to go out of his way to help me out on a sunday afternoon. On a holiday too. GEICO gave me a list of contacts to call for towing, but everyone on that list wasnt helpful or couldnt make it to the area i was stuck in. Except Anthony, he was ready to help me out. AND he wasnt even on that list that geico recommended!
My car was in an accident, it was after hours, I was FREEEZING! I called Anthony's Towing service,they were accurate, equipped and on their jobs! They brought my car to it's destination got me to safety,if I ever have any car trouble in the future their the one's to call because their roadside service is reliable and dependable so I give them grade A-1 for customer service,so for all you drivers if your ever in trouble contact Anthony's Towing Service they saved me & my "may may" better known as a Camaro! So,yes Anthony"s Towing I would DEFINITELY refer to a friend!!

called anthony on a short notice on a friday and he came out and towed my 1967 chevelle wit no problems. very professional and a really nice truck very clean in and out .definetly will use him again.
