Bought a used transmission from Bobs Auto Salvage — it was defective right away. They first promised a replacement, then backed out and only offered a partial refund (just the part, not labor or towing). I also lost money because they referred me to an inexperienced shop. Very unprofessional — be careful before doing business here.
Make sure to get ur money back when u can otherwise u lost it, like if there's some kind of experience dated on refunds , give a item back since don't know what they sell bc was aftermarket part, don't go there to get the money same day ask for it a month later they say they can't give it to me bc I take to long to go get it !! What a joke place!!
Lack of professionalism to communicate with clients, according to the one who attended me, said that he was the owner. I asked him for a mirror and it was broken, I told him to change it and he said no and that they did not return the money... bad service... it's the first time I bought there, besides that its parts are expensive...
Only alcoholic people working there they're talking only cursing, threatening customers, 100s of empty bottles of beer on the corner of the yard plus plus plus. If you buy any parts at this junk yard just ask for the vin#of the vehicle where that came from and make sure that's the right Vin.# I already been in trouble with parts of stoled vehicle's. Thanks for everyone who's reading my post.
If I could give a negative star I would. This Junkyard doesn't seem to understand what the quality rating on their parts represent. A 0 means perfect or close to it not a part full of dents, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from these crooks. When I tried to return the part, they wanted a reduction in the price and a restocking fee. What a joke.
When you are going to buy a part, be sure to ask them to bring it complete. You do not have to pay until you see the part... I bought a part and it came incomplete, the money was sent by Zelle before and they no longer want to return the money. ... but their should have a refund of money, at least a percentage... I didn't like their attention... I don't know who answers, but when you run a company, the idea is that the customer leaves happy... or at least they don't feel robbed... thanks
For parts waste your time I called them and asked for the part and they said yes it’s available. I clearly asked them is that in good condition they said yes and I drive 2.5 hr to their place and when I see the part it’s damage part, totally waste of time.
Fair prices. Very resourceful company with multiple yards. Great service by friendly staff. We had the best experience by far amongst the salvage companies we've ever worked with. We strongly recommend them.
As owners of a local family business in Belleville for 30 years we’ve always had pleasant experiences with mr bob and his Forman cowboy they have nice yard you can tell they really know what they’re doing and if we ever have a problem it’s fixed immediately we sometimes have more than 1000$ credit with bobs and we know our investments and anything else is handled with care and security when you go to the facility everything is neat inventory is covered properly from rain and water all the cars are parked neatly and with care if I can leave 7 stars I would bob and his employees are all blue-collar hard working family people that serve there surrounding community I recommend for family business and friends thanks bobs.

But remember these are the soul of blue collared Newark workers. They are not kind and full of front facing customer service so dont expect alot of haggle. Pay the price and move on.
No time wasted here arrived recurved my part, paid for it part got stamped got my receipt and was outta there. Coming from 136 miles away, they wasted none of my time which I greatly appreciate.
