Ken’s top notch! Always responds to my petty little stuff, which I totally appreciate, but might be a waste of his time. I’m brand new to the Vanagon community, and never envisioned getting this much support when I bought my Vanagon in 2025. I only knew my neighbor’s dad was a Vanagon owner and his encouragement for me to buy the one I found, which is a story in and of itself.
Ken (and his daughter) run a fantastic business. I’ve been using him as my parts source for a few years now for my vans. Competitive prices and no matter what he’s always had what I needed on the shelf even at the 11th hour in an emergency (isn’t it always? Sorry Ken!) but besides his parts being top notch and always available. He’s as knowledgeable as they get when it comes to these silly old loaves of bread on wheels. An active member in our vw community in south jersey, known nationwide and also well known in the neighborhood. I live two blocks away. May or may not have influenced my move! Just kidding but it sure is convenient.

I sent an email describing a situation with the shifter on my 1991 Vanagon. I hoped Ken could understand my description and problem. Within less than an hour he sent me links to the parts I needed and how to install them. The parts were here in 3 days, they are in the bus and it cranks like normal.

Ken is the go-to guy on the Eastern seaboard for vanagon and bus parts. He answers the phone and is super helpful with advice that comes from a lifetime of experience working with veedubs. I can't count the number of times he's saved my arse with last minute shipping of hard to find parts or suggestions on how to fix a problem. Google doesn't have enough stars to properly rate him.
I took my Vanagon to Ken when I needed my fuel lines replaced, I am very happy with the work he did and how much he cares about the quality of the parts he uses on his customers VW's. I would deff. recommend Van-Again for your VW needs. -Jeff
