This place is a joke. They should be shut down took two catalytic converters over there with proof of registration and they still tried to call me a thief. She wanted to give me 80 bucks for two catalytic converters. I went to Giordano‘s and got 300. I’ve never seen a woman wanting to be a man so bad.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would ! I spoke to a lady on the phone and told her I was scrapping a car. She did not inform me of anything I needed to do prior to dropping the car off so to my knowledge I didn’t need to do anything. The guy in the front is very rude and has no costumer service. If I called on the phone saying what I needed to do then why not tell me before coming in. Just wasted my time and just overall unprofessional. I came here before to scrap my catalytic and they were just as rude and clueless. Will never come here again.
Went in and asked a couple of questions, got cut off and told I was being a pain and arguing. If you can't hold a conversation dont work the register man at the counter.
Took load there they gave us 1$ per 100 lbs 10k lbs left with 99$ instead of normal 6-8$ took same material to Giordanos took 10k same stuff left with 500$ driveway 5 min down the road friendlier staff too!!
The absolute worst scrap yard in New Jersey. I will never go there again. They low ball everyone. Last week I took 80lbs of copper to another yard and was paid over $120.00 and today I took 40lbs of copper to this place and was paid $22.00 . In all my years I have never saw such thievery. Ovoid this place as much as possible. A hard lesson learned.
Delt with this Company(Family) for over 45 year's... The best prices available in New Jersey for real, separated Scrap Metals, both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous. If you have Scrap, this is where you want to sell it.
Don't bother. 350 lb commercial Imperial radiant grill and they said weight was 200. Mixed metals, cast iron, stainless steel, and small amount of aluminum. $10. Gtfoh.
