Recently had some service done at their shop. And I had a headlight out. They quoted me $200. They lied and said they would have to remove my bumper. I told the man that I knew that that was not so. My son and I just changed it for $30 and it took less than 5 minutes.

I’m giving them 1 star because the actual work they did on my vehicle was done well (my insurance company paid enough for it to be) but one of their employees stole multiple items from my car. I realized before I left the shops lot that a brand new $120 dispensary vape was stolen from my center console and called the shop immediately to talk to someone about it before leaving. A young man came and spoke to me and told me he would ask his workers but didn’t think anyone would take that from my car. After leaving the shop, I realized that cash (around $20), $4+ in quarters, along with a large bag of loose change was also stolen from my center console. I called again to speak with someone as I had already left the shop at this point. I was again told that they didn’t believe someone from the shop would’ve done that, they would check their cameras but they thought they probably left the car unlocked outside of the shop and the car was probably robbed by someone on the street. If that’s their excuse for how I may have been robbed, then it’s still 100% their fault, it’s irresponsible and wrong on so many levels. I told them I wasn’t even that upset about the money I was more upset about the vape and the fact that all of this was stolen out of my center console when the work being done on my car was on the front bumper. Absolutely no need for anyone to be in my center console. I’m leaving this review in the hope to get some sort of response from Eddie’s Auto Body more than what I was told on the phone. My next step is filing a police report so that someone has to answer to this. I was kind throughout all of my interactions and fear my kindness was mistaken for ignorance. If you’re able to go to any other trusted body shop, do so. Not to even mention I was originally told my car would only take one week to be worked on after I waited weeks for parts to come in. The car ended up being in the shop for over 2 weeks and still isn’t even totally repaired. I’m extremely disappointed in this shop taking advantage of the fact that they’re the only one in the area, they should be better.

I never look forward to going to Eddie's, but only because of the circumstances which are generally the result of an accident :( Seriously, Eddie's is the only body shop I would take my car. Right from the start, everything was clearly explained. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the staff polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Once again my car looks like new. Couldn't ask for better service than that!

I had body work done (they also have a service shop). Despite what is described below, it’s true what other reviews say…they were definitely always friendly! -1 Star: Over 95% of the damage was in the front of the car. The body shop was notified of the VERY easy to spot damage to the rear bumper (see pic) that was not included in the insurance inspector’s estimate and they did not request a supplement to the insurance inspection, despite responding that they were on this. I still have to go to a 2nd body shop closer to my home (in Philadelphia) to get the remaining damage repaired after the car was with them for 8 weeks -1 Star: In the 8 weeks it was there, I received precisely zero calls/updates. Be prepared to have to always be the one to reach out. Having an accurate/updated idea of what work is left and approximately how long it will take to completion is important when you’re paying for the rental car week-by-week, out of pocket. Maybe this is typical of most body shops? At the very least, the last time I was unlucky enough to need body work the other shop was better about this.

Scott and Justin took great care in getting our car fixed abd back on road. The staff in the shop is always friendly when walking by.

Never get body work anywhere else my first and last stop for all my car damage needs. when you go tell them Johnny boy sent you they'll know what's up!!!

I've taken several cars here before and every time they exceed my expectations. Everything from major body work repairs to electrical rewiring, they are more than capable.

Had a car towed here and they were great in helping deal with the situation. Their communication and helpfulness made the situation move along much smoother.

Our overall experience was terrific. Steve and company took care of everything with the insurance company. The car looks great!

I needed some work done, after a car accident I had when a car backed into me. Their insurance paid for the damages. Unfortunately, where the repairs were being made, the body is dented. Uneven between the hood of the car and the front bumper. They must've dropped the bumper after "fixing" it, as there's a scratch underneath it and my front left light is now pointing downward, uneven to the right light. The office staff is super nice though. All in all - not very satisfied :(

They did great work when I needed body work done and when i had an issue a few years later with a small issue they stood by their work and made it right no questions asked, highly recommended.

always willing to help me on jobs, grate auto body shop and macanics. pricing beats the local ford dealer and there oil change cost is grate. id use them over to Mr. tire any day. and the alway honer first responders.

In all my dealings with this organization,I have always left pleased that I chose them! You go out of your way to please the customer and do an exceptional job! I stopped for a problem with my truck. They were booked till next week but they take the time to call another garage to find a place where to go. I guess we are not used anymore to nice people! Thanks!

You could not find better people to deal with, from mechanical work to body shop, you'll find experienced and nice technicians. When it comes to your vehicle, this is your one stop shop, hands down. I have been bringing my vehicles there for years. Highly recommended!

I waited 40 minutes to even speak with someone. I sat in silence for 40 minutes before someone thought "oh maybe we should actually help this customer?". And after the estimate, another 30 minutes of waiting. Was it worth it? Not at all. They quoted me more than DOUBLE what two other shops estimated. Not to mention the condescending attitude. I usually dont leave reviews but this was too egregious not to.

My 2002 Volkswagen Beetle was having issues with the engine, and would start sputtering and shaking while driving. They were very kind and welcoming, and got the car fixed the same day. Having a Volkswagen means I'm used to high prices, so the $450 fee was a nice surprise for being so low. About a week later we had the same problem, only worse. When we called up they told us to bring it in and they'd check on it as soon as possible. Me being a nosy somebody when it comes to my car, I called them the same day for an update. Again, they were very kind in answering my questions, and never got upset with me over my curiosity. The price came out to $350 for the fix. Again, I'm use to high prices, so I was a bit shocked at it being so low. They are a great place to go for customer service and quick fixes. My only concerns are that it wasn't fixed the first time, and I had to pay twice to fix the same problem. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say that's my Beetle being tricky, though. I would still recommend them.

Excellent service on vehicle, customer service second to none. The customer service is amazing and keeps you coming bck when you need body or service work done on your vehicle. Ask for Steve he will take care you fairly.

Eddies is the best in the county. They are fair, came through for us meeting what we thought an impossible schedule and the work was perfect. We used them some years ago for another car. We thought the work was excellent that time but that job was not complicated. Now we know they are excellent. NOTE TO GOOGLE: You have the wrong address for Eddies Auto Body. You have: 637 9th Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204 It should say: 637 Route 9, Cape May, NJ 08204 These two addresses are miles apart.

Bottom line: I recommend Eddie's Auto Body Shop without reservation, based on my experience. My wife's 2005 Toyota Matrix recently sustained a dent when another car backed into it in a parking lot. The dent pushed in the greater part of the panel over the passenger side rear wheel, but it was repaired by pulling the dent out, not replacing it. I obtained two quotes, with Eddie's coming in ~35% lower that another nearby shop. Eddie's estimated 2-3 days for the repair. I was a little worried that Eddie's quote was so much lower because they were low-balling it to get the work; No need to worry though, because the final bill was exactly as quoted! As for the workmanship, I'm perfectly satisfied; The car is a daily driver that's been pushed across country twice, and spend 3 winters in Alaska, so the repaired panel now looks better than the rest of the car!The only issue was that the work took 4 days, but as I did not need the car and saved 35% over the competition, I'm not going to lose any sleep.
