Had issues for 1-1/2 years with a new motor and the automotive company that installed it. Took it to Birds, and they diagnosed all the improper things done by the original installer. They installed a new motor for us while keeping us informed every step of the way. Very professional. Highly recommend!

Needed my box truck towed from my neighbors driveway to mine cause landlord needed to saw cut driveway to do sewer repairs . It wasn't easy for him to put in area I asked but they did an incredible job and placed truck exactly where it needed to be . Would highly recommend.

He charged me and he didn’t fix the car I went to anther Mechanic and I find out he didn’t change anything. He stole my money. I went to him and I told him why you did that he told me you can call the police. I think he have a Brain problem Or a psychological condition

I have a 2011 Ford edge I told him to fix the brake and he charged me for replacing brake and rotors and I still have the same issue when I went to other mechanic you show me he didn’t do nothing. He stole my money.

I brought my vehicle there to repair the horn that wasn’t working. Prior to that, I wasn’t getting sound out of the speakers when using the AM/FM radio but I got sound out of the speakers when using the auxiliary port. I figured I needed a new head unit so I didn’t want them to look at the radio. They found some bad grounds and fixed the horn for under a $100. On the way home, the repaired electrical circuit also fixed the AM/FM radio…I COULDN’T ASK FOR MORE!!!

Don’t go if you’re a woman, they’ll rip you off. Lied to me and told me my car had multiple water pumps, so it took hours to diagnose (and charged me $200 even though I wrote the water pump was bad on my intake sheet).. they told me it would cost $2,600-2,800 to fix. I Bought oem parts (water pump, thermostat, and coolant) for $450 and fixed it myself (I work as a mechanic, but took it in hoping for a quick turn around and a fair price since I don’t have a garage). Steer clear and go get an honest mechanic.

These guys have always came in clutch when I need a tow, especially when the tuner shop I took my project car to had been giving me the run around I need my car towed back to my house immediately. Prices are very reasonable compared to what I get quoted by all the other tow companies in the area. I know I can trust these guys to take care of whatever I need. I would only recommend Birds Towing to anyone around Fort Dix. They take care of their service members when others don’t.

When I went to get my oil change I asked if they check all the fluids and they said yes. One month later a friend points out that my coolant is VERY low. I should be able to check and do this myself but I prefer to pay someone to check it and rely on them to do so. Thank God my friend pointed it out to me. Other than that. Very friendly and easy going people working there. My engine light hasn’t turned back on since they fixed the air filter issue.

I wish I could give more stars then five. Bill and his guys built my 03 Jeep TJ to the extreme and I couldn’t be more happier with it. I was like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for it, would call and check in, Bill was extremely patient with me, and I would recommend them to everyone.

Amazing customer service and repair work. My Dad's transmission failed while visiting a friend from out of town in the area of Bird's. He was stranded and totally at the mercy of whatever repair shop his car was towed to...very luckily for us it was towed to Bird's. They completed a careful evaluation of the transmission, found several leaks in hoses as well as in the tank. My fear was, that because my Dad is a senior citizen and in an obviously desperate situation being stuck away from home, that he would be taken advantage of. Bird's did the opposite, and approached the issues with the car with total integrity and urgency. The person helping us took his time and explained everything that was being done along the way, and even called my Dad to update him after hours from his home. He was kind, patient, and very thorough. In the end, they made the necessary repairs quickly, (at a very reasonable cost) to the transmission components, filled up the fluid and got the car back on the road in a state where it was able to drive the 300+ miles back to my Dad's house without any issues. My only regret is that they aren't in our hometown. They were truly a lifesaver.

Performed a Rear Wheel Bearing replacement on my 2014 Ford Explorer. Everything about my experience was outstanding. I am 100% happy with my experience.

I dropped my car off this morning for repairs to be done to my brakes because I didn't know what was going on. They told me that they would call me so that they could let me know problem and the costs. They never called me, in fact I had to call them at 2 o'clock and that was when they actually explained to me that my brakes were sounding funny because they were cheap brakes and they needed to be cleaned, but there was actually nothing wrong with them. After leaving work, when I got there I went to collect my keys and then I was told that there would be a $39 fee and when I asked him what the fee was for, since nothing was actually done, he replied to me with the question if I thought his shop worked for free. I then explained to him that I didn't think his shop work for free, I just wanted to know what was done to my vehicle that I was paying $39 for. Anytime I ever got my car checked out I was told what tests were run etc. That was when he finally explained to me that they lifted the car to check my brakes and clean them up a little bit, he then went on to explain that if he wanted me to clean them thoroughly I would have to pay them about $300 which was the same price he gave me for new rotors and new brakes for the front side of my vehicle This man was extremely disrespectful to me before collecting my $39 he did not explain what was done to my vehicle and I would never come back to this establishment again .I do not suggest anybody to come to this place for any repairs. As a buisness owner myself, anytime I ever have to charge someone for my services they know exactly why, and I have never spoken to my clients like that because they are the very reason i have a buisness today.

Rude employees, horrible service. I got a tow from them through AAA and a man named Kyle was sent. When he got here (over 20 minutes late) he started revving my engine and trying to fix the issue himself. All I wanted was a tow and he refused to give it to me. When I brought it up to him he "made it easy for me" and got in his car and drove off, leaving me outside in the cold. I would not recommend this tow service.

Last night, it was down pouring and with my luck, I had a flat tire. I asked a colleague who lived in Wrightstown what I should do and she gave me Bird’s towing number immediately. I called and he said he’d be there in 15 minutes to help. Not only did he get to me in less than 15, he put a spare on my car in a flash and was SO NICE. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. They've done several, spur of the moment repairs on our work truck which is diesel and some shops don't even want to open the hood. Always treated us well.

Great help. Towed and fixed my car. Didn't give them 5 stars because my car wasn't ready for 2 days after the date they had gave me. Other than that they did a good job.

This particular shop came highly recommended from friends. My husband called ahead to see if our vehicle could be repaired and gave the gentlemen information of what has been going on. We have friends who also work on cars for a living and had a good idea of what was causing the issue . We were told they would get to it within the next couple of days if not sooner. The car was dropped off noonish Monday. Tuesday evening we called to check in to see if there were any updates . They informed us that they may have to move a few things to get to what was causing the issue however Wednesday should have a complete answer and be able to start. Wednesday evening came no call. We called the same information was provided. Thursday morning just so happen that a friend drove by the shop and saw our vehicle in the same parking space it was parked in initially . My husband went up there to ask why the vehicle hadn’t moved if they were giving updates as though they were doing the work . At that point he asked for the keys and we are now back at square 1. The only response given was that they hooked it up to get the coding. Which also doesn’t seem like the truth. With one vehicle, being with out a car for 4 days is tough but to be with out a vehicle for 4 days with the intention of it being fixed and to be mislead for it to not be repaired or even touched is unacceptable. At minimum we shouldn’t have had to call and ask for the update each day. On Wednesday you should have communicated the truth, “hey unfortunately sir we have not moved the vehicle just yet”. Give us the benefit of the doubt to be understanding if you are swamped or so on! Time management and communication is key ! For people with one vehicle I don’t recommend using this business unless you have a personal relationship with them already.

Horrible service and terrible mechanics. Took my vehicle there to have a inspection done that I found out they weren’t even certified to do. They are not New Jersey certified to do New Jersey State vehicle inspections. They failed my vehicle for “worn brakes” and made me pay for everything, so I walked away with nothing that I came for. Also their card machine was not working and I was told to walk to an ATM down the street. Do not recommend and would never take any motor vehicle to this location. I’ll never be back here that’s for sure..

They were absolutely amazing! They spent time locating the correct parts to make it as affordable as possible for me. Great people skills and extremely trustworthy, I even left my bracelet in the car and they put it away in an envelope and kept it locked up and safe for me until I was able to pick it up. They took their time properly trouble shooting and finding the correct problem, and did it in a time efficient manor. I will definitely be going back to them if the need arises and highly recommend their services!

They are Honest, took my Mazda in for a new starter they checked it out, all I needed was a new battery and a valve cover gasket which was leaking oil on to the alternator and not consistently charging. Probably if I took it to a dealer I would have gotten a new starter, alternator, valve cover gasket and who knows what else and have paid $30 dollars per hour more for labor. I am very happy with Bird's Auto Repair.

Came for an oil change without an appointment. Took care of me no problem, in and out within 45 minutes. No extra charges or hassle about things that should be replaced. Friendly staff and reasonably priced! I’ll be going back in the future.

They were professional and very very fast getting to my location as well as opening the door to my car after I locked my keys in the trunk. Others had said they would be there in an hour he was there in less than 15 minutes.
