You will not find another shop like Suburban Revival. It’s is so creatively curated with the most unique vintage gems that are all so reasonably priced. Not only does Laura love what she does but she helps you find items to love ❤️
My daughter and I visited Suburban Revival and were so impressed with the selection and the owner’s knowledge of vintage clothing & accessories. It is so much fun making outfits from all of their fabulous merchandise.& we love how each piece tells a story. We look forward to going back.
This store Suburban Revival is super incredible the store is always fresh, clean and also fully stocked with a lot of merchandise from vintage to brand new items. They are very inclusive of everyone that walks into the store when you shop or just want to chat with Laura the amazing owner and her wonderful mom Barbra. This store is a true gem in Maywood especially that they treat you like their own family, their family members are also super amazing as well their niece Lia even has a small baking business and they graciously shared her baked goods with customers to show case how great she is and they also like to share other small businesses in their store too. Supporting small businesses like this is better then shopping at big brands please, like share and comment on their social media spreading joy and love since this family is super nice so spread the love.
The shop is beautifully curated! Laura & her mom really know fashion, trends, and have the best vintage finds. They are so welcoming when you visit. Highly recommend stopping by!
By far one of my fave vintage stores!!! They have a fantastic selection in which the options are top quality and carefully curated for a variety of styles and tastes. I love that it’s never the same experience in terms of what I’ll find and I always find something I love for myself or to gift! The owner has impeccable taste and so helpful to boot, in terms of styling suggestions. Highly recommend!
When I walked into this store I almost had an asthma attack. The entire place was so thick with the smell of incense that it made breathing even with my mask on next to impossible. This is an extremely small store, think walk in closet sized so their selection is extremely small. Their prices are VERY high, think eBay prices.
I have been shopping at Suburban Revival for about 3 years (maybe longer). Laura and her mom are always so helpful and supportive. The store is a gem filled with amazing one of a kind pieces that are priced accordingly and fair. I always leave with something very special. Laura sources the most amazing and Intentional pieces. I value and appreciate Laura's expertise and knowledge. Thank you for creating Suburban Revival, Laura! it is truly one of my favorite stores. My experience with the person in the front a few days ago (I couldn't catch her name, but I wish I did) was the absolute worst. I have social anxiety and it was already hard for me to speak and ask questions, but the attitude I was given was absolutely unbelievable and unprofessional. For a store that's supposed to be chic and vintage, the customer service is absolutely rotten. Heartbroken. I think the attitude you give to customers is supposed to be what your store represents and if being rude and giving sarcastic responses to questions is what this store is about, then they deserve the 1 star review.
Was on the phone with a woman who was very rude and she was very passive aggressive from the second we spoke on the phone. Would not want to sell my clothes to someone who is that rude to their customers
Very cool vintage shop like something you’d find in Brooklyn or L.A. The owner was very kind to look at my offerings and least give me a market perspective on their worth . Really helped my roux house cleaning of late cousins estate .Great place for holiday vintage shopping too !

Since I am being asked to share details about my “experience” I will. This is the 2nd time I’ve been to the store where the owner and staff are not wearing masks. The first time was back in Autumn when the owner may have seen I was uncomfortable and asked me if I want her to put one on. There’s absolutely no scenario where a customer should be put on the spot to tell someone to do the right thing. Today she was there along with two older staff members or friends - zero masks. Considering this is the only time I’ve experienced this in a public establishment I have to believe there is clearly a message they want out there and don’t care if it hurts business. It’s much easier to put on a mask than to deal with dozens of people that will do an about-face and leave, or simply have to be put in that uncomfortable situation where you have to remind grown adults that we are in a pandemic. It’s a shame because they have great vintage stuff and I have purchased a bunch in the past but as the saying goes 1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me. Can’t get with the messaging here.
What a wonderful little shop with one of a kind items including purses, fabulous clothing items, jewelry, etc. And the best part of the visit is spending time chatting with the owner, Laura and her mother, Bobbie. When you are out for for lunch at the local Pancake House or diner, complete your afternoon with a visit to this unique shop.
