My husband came home to explain he was referred to Lane's by a co-worker. I explained I used to go this garage with my grandfather as a child. His son's Ron & Chris run it now, they grew up with all my cousins in Loudon. The boys treated us fair & did exceptional work - even sent us progress photos along the way. Once they were done taking care of business my husband came out to get me. Ron didn't know my married name but he knew more about my family than I did. They thought they could get the parts for my truck faster than they could. So he kept forgetting to order the parts and would lie about already ordering them. Every week was a new excuse that contradicted his previous lies. Took months to get repair.
Affordable, friendly, small business. I have been coming here ever since I got my driver's license (15+ years) and have never had an unpleasant experience. Highly recommended this shop. PS it's haunted too
I have been going to Lanes for years and I'm constantly impressed by their service. Ron, Chris, & Jose are a knowledgeable, friendly team that will go the extra mile for you. They are honest, and no gimmicks.

Lanes is a family-owned place. The guys are always transparent and explain everything. They will not cut-corners and although busy with many customers, they do quality work on your vehicle, while going extra to advise on anything else going on. They are not the prettiest, shiniest car fixing shop around, but everything else is what matters.
They painted my 04 cavalier about 12 year ago after it was keyed, they did a good job, mixed up a custom color for me and it still looks great to this day. Only con would be that they never gave me the color code or recipe for the new color of paint.
I think of Ron Lane, his brother Chris, Jose, and Matt as a cross between the A Team and Our Sisters of Mercy. I can't tell you how many of my public radio colleagues I have sent to him in their hour of need and there they have found great solutions, very affordable prices and friendship.
