Hawthorne has been my go-to for years now. I've always felt that he was upfront with me on all my automotive needs and he puts out a pretty decent calendar.
I have recommended him to many friends. My wife and my son go there and I will continue. I've never regretted recommending Hawthorne's automotive to anyone.

I'm not one to really write reviews but I am absolutely amazed with this place, and I will be returning here for all of my future automotive needs! If I could give Hawthorne's Automotive a 10/5, I would!! Shane is great! I was recommended to come here by a family friend who told me, "He's really not out to get your money, he is just trying to fix cars for a reasonable price, he's good to his customers and I've used him for years."
I brought my car to him about a month ago, he gave me an estimate, but was so on top of it about calling me right away to let me know about further issues he found and what the cost would be to fix that as well. He was great about making sure I was okay with that before proceeding.
I brought my car to him last week, he originally quoted me a decent price, and when I went to pick my car up, it was $140.00 LESS than what he had quoted me. He explained that he was able to build the part himself, instead of paying for the part and costing me extra unnecessary money! Now if he was out to get peoples money, I'm just a girl, he could have never even told me about this and I would have never known the difference and still have been happy to pay the original estimate!
Also during this time he fixed a few odds & ends (things that were inconvenient for me) on my car that I hadn't even mentioned, which I was so thankful for that! I will be recommending Hawthorne Automotive to all of my friends!
I can't say enough about Hawthorne Automotive. The owner along with his staff are always professional and polite. I've been going here for years and now that my kids are driving I will continue to bring vehicles to them. I recently purchased a used vehicle and requested them to perform a state inspection. They confirmed the vehicle did not pass. I will be returning to have repairs done. Great honest shop.
