Not sure why but I just brought in a 52 pound truck battery and two small rice rocket batteries and he didn't even put on scale , gave me a 5$ bill !!?? I got 12 bucks for a battery by itself last time , so why did this guy just rip me off??!! Check the cameras at about 125pm today . Did he not follow protocol??! Pretty sure I got scammed !!
Very very dishonest people… they tell you once price over the phone and then once you get there they collect your materials and tell you something completely different. At that point your material is gone and you have no choice but to accept the fact you just got scammed. Collected spare material for 2 years just to get completely screwed out of it…
Told me .15 cents a pound for lead over the phone, went there and they tried to give me 500$ for 3200 pounds of lead, place is a joke, go to westford scrap yard and you’ll get TRIPLE what these guys offer, and you won’t have to deal with rude people. Absolute bonkers this place is still up and running
They don't even take iron. I drove two 2 hours out of the way to drive a away with my trailer still full of metal. When I told him over the phone that's what I had. But they were friendly and seemed fair.
You are waisting your time and money coming here. Their are several scrap yards in the Boston area that give you twice as much as this place, the staff is rude as can be and they ask for every piece of your personal information Before they pay you, I’m suppries I didn’t need to give my SoCal with all the info I had to give to get paid up. The worst scrap metal experience I’ve ever had. Just Take the 30min drive to Lowell
Aren't they supposed to weigh what the potential seller brings in before paying the seller??
I ask because that was my impression. However, when I brought in a good sized box of some heavy brass and copper items, he immediately separated it into different bins, called me over, and handed me $27. Then he had me sign a torn off corner of a piece of paper with scribbling, which was supposed to be the amount I was getting (I couldn't quite make it out but I thought it read $270+/-).

Place is a little hole-in-the-wall and they're always pay 20 to $0.30 less a pound then Schnitzer Steel which is about 5 minutes down the road. I would not go here unless it was on a Saturday and Schnitzer was closed and I absolutely needed the money.
Had my truck loaded with scrap metal including some copper, brass, aluminum and steel. They were very helpful with helping me sort it out and in the end, I walked away with $75 for the non-ferrous stuff but they took the rest. They were upfront about not paying for steel but I didn't expect they would. Highly recommended.
