With quite a few negative reviews I wasn't sure I should go here, but after going, I am very glad that I did. I had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was quick and convenient to drop off a bunch of used metal. They didn't mind at all that I had a mess of all kinds of different metal to sort through. The rates seemed roughly comparable to other places I have used in the past. I will definitely go back here the next time. Thanks guys!
I was very satisfied how this scrap yard worked and was treated very kindly by all of the people I was in contact with. Happy to know you are opening a place in Concord and it will be open on Saturdays
Called to get a quote on four new rims . Was told $.75 per lb ,took 80 lbs ,was paid $6 LOL
When I asked Iwas told t he guy who checked them out ,wrote down catchy 1 !!! Go figure
Was a scammer.
I was told by Jim on 23 June 0927, that hey dude mask's are no longer required at the check in station.
Even though there's two signs saying masks are required for Covid-19.
I stated, it's for personal reasons.
Jim said have you been vacinated for Covid-19.
I stated it's none of your business.
He then said your out of here.
Throwing me off property at Schnitzer in Manchester, NH
I stated your are violating my Civil rights, he then reluctantly let me in to drop off metal.
I called his boss Jeff in Concord, NH and told him what was going on.
Jeff apologized and said he'd look into it, which he he did.
After that things got much worst each time I went to Schnitzer Steel in Manchester, by Jim.
The following happened after that from Jim
Total disrespect
Walked away whistling when I pulled up to check scrap metal, numerous times
Jim Refused to check scrap metal at the check point.
Constantly mouthin off at me, claimed thanks dude for telling me what load you have, even though not checking it, he could not hear me over the loud music he plays, louder when I showed up.
When I arrived to drop of scrap metal , took long smoke breaks, came back whistling like in contempt.
Checking my load drop off after I dropped off items, then having a problem with items. Should have checked them at check station. Even though no real problem.
Constantly trying to get me into an altercation.
Singling me out all the time, not checking others as detailed as me, but only after I dropped metal off not at check in station as required.
The 1 rating is because of the employee Jim.
The company is a 5 star.
I loved going there till Jim started working there.
I now refuse to do business with them as long as Jim is employed there.
People are not white trash, as Jim treats them
Many more bad experiences than good. They will nickle and dime you on pricing more times than not. I suggest you go elsewhere and avoid their shadiness which is what they exemplify.
