Good News Garage was one of the first nonprofit social enterprise car donation programs in the U.S. The mission of Good News Garage is to create economic opportunity by providing affordable and reliable transportation options to low-income individuals and families. Since its founding in Burlington, Vermont, in 1996 Good News Garage has provided nearly 6,000 New England families with donated vehicles empowering clients to move out of poverty and into financial independence and social stability.

Whoever this person is who's saying the Good News Garage isn't giving these vehicles to people in need is saying this because of their nephew and they're saying the same thing on every GNG site. That's not very Christian of them to attempt to make trouble in some kinda way for y'all.
It was very easy to donate. The staff responded very quickly to emails and my vehicle was picked up at a convenient time for me. The driver even came the morning of a snow storm.
I donated my car 5 years ago. It was a seamless easy process. I got a tax return and even a note from the person who became the new owner of my car. I highly recommend this charity.
I decided to donate my car to Good News Garage mainly because I felt that it was a unique opportunity to directly help someone who was very much in need of transportation to improve their life. I received a great anonymous note back from the individual who received the car. I had take good care of my car and thought it could provide a few years of dependable transportation. It was a pleasure working with the folks at Good News Garage as every aspect of the process worked smoothly. This is a great opportunity—DO IT.
Love that this organization takes our donated cars, fixes them up and puts them in the hands of people who need them. SUCH a vital program and lifeline for those they serve and the process is so easy from our end as the donor. When we bought our new car, our very first thought was to donate our old car. It was a hybrid SUV with many more useful years ahead of it. We truly hoped that we could make a difference for a family in need.
What I like about Good News Garage is they donate cars to local families rather than just getting the wholesale auction value. Yes, cars have to be in reasonably good condition, but I feel like it's such a worthy way of giving someone a helping hand.

If your not in they're circle of people. They don't want to help you
So if anyone is trying to get a vehicle from them good luck because it is not gonna happen
All the cars people donate go to auction.
They do not go to people in need.
