Dead/dying battery. Via AAA Battery Service got connected with John at Arnold's. Even though my call was late afternoon on the Friday (12/26) after Christmas, John was willing to send someone out that evening. My battery situation was not an emergency so made an appointment for the following morning. One of the techs (Sean? Shawn?) came by Saturday (12/27) on his way to work and installed a new battery in a prompt and professional manner. Great customer service during a very busy winter holiday weekend in central NH!

We are all blessed to still have the opportunity to support small independent shops like this run by hard working people with values. I ended up here because one of the big corporate tire shop chains took a reservation over the phone and then refused to honor it. I called Arnold’s late in the day after trying a dozen other places and they squeezed us in to get 4 snow tires mounted and balanced so me and my 5 year old could make a long drive safely. They let my kid play with a big bin of toys in the waiting room and insisted on putting them away for us when the job was done so we could hit the road. Lent me a phone charger. Payed less per tire than I have in a long time. Kind people with a lot of personality and pride. Made me feel like I need to try harder to support small independent businesses and avoid the big corporations.

Arnold’s auto center team came to the rescue when we needed it the most. We needed new tires while up on vacation because the ones we had were running bald. All other tire centers in an hour radius would not be able to get us in for new tires until at least a week later and when we contacted this great group they responded to the call better than expected with next day service. My family owes them a lot more than the payment we gave them and want to give them the highest recommendation possible. This shop is a valuable asset to the area.

I was having battery problems with my Mazda End of November trouble starting I called him around between eight AM They said sure we can, there was so good. I got there around nine. I was out by 10. Everybody was incredible and seem to be enjoying the job which says a lot for the place. I would definitely recommend them

Our son was over three hours from home when he got a flat tire. My husband called Arnold’s Auto Center, and from the very first phone call, we felt completely at ease. The team was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond with their customer service. They worked hard—even past closing time—to ensure everything was done safely and with care. It truly felt like we were working with family. We’re so grateful for their honesty, dedication, and kindness!

What a experience. Like a movie here..all these guys working here and lady at counter were awesome. Like a sitcom.what a variety of characters. Arnold was great. At least I think it was Arnold. He was in charge. All the guys were super busy with piles of cars. Yet they were chatting with me about everything from real estate prices and second homes and population and wallets found in parts of cars years later. And we had no other choice in area as we drove in on a donut. Sold me a used tire that looked new and promised it would get us back to NY. It did. Took a bit and was hot as hell. Kids had fun picking up bits of metal and screws and junk in parking lot while I walked around and pulled car in and out of bay. Guy was like your tire is trash you drove on it flat. I said yeah I know. Sensor told us it was low even when it was flat. Glad Arnold and his crew were around. Actually turned out cheaper than paying price for lazy river gorge

Years ago, I busted a brake line on my way up to New Hampshire. It was Saturday and everything was closed. They took my car in and a guy stayed extra to work on my car after they had closed he patched up my brake lines for a decent price I never forget That was the scariest part of the trip but after that, they made the whole trip awesome. Great people didn’t try to rip me off, even though I was in a bad situation. They got some cool memorabilia in the area that you wait would highly recommend this place.

Was hundreds of miles from home when we had an emergency. Stopped in very late in the day. Everyone couldn't have been more helpful in making room for me. They quickly determined the issue, called for part and installed it within 2 hours. Saved our vacation!

Jon was great! Helped us out in a pinch with our Tahoe while we were on vacation from CT. Fixed our truck in 2 hours and we were on our way to enjoy the rest of vacation. He was very reasonable & friendly! Highly recommend! Thanks Jon

My truck down in Lincoln and overheated so I called Arnolds auto Center. The owner John (Arnold was his dad) made time in his very busy schedule to service my truck and a couple of extra things I needed done. He does thorough work and service. John's knowledge and fairness was greatly appreciated as he had me over the proverbial barrel. I recommend his business highly. excellent work. thank you John.

We have gone to Arnold for everything from oil changed to major repairs to roadside assistance in the area. Great people. Great work. Conveniently next to Arnold’s Diner if you need to wait.

Had an emergent vehicle problem and was stranded in the area on our way home. They got me in next day and finished the repair. They even provided drop-off and pickup from the hotel we were able to get since we couldn’t get home. Incredibly fair prices and incredible service. When you need a repair, take it there.

I had a flat tire on a holiday. They were able to get me in and help out as much as possible. I ended up needing a new tire because of the location of the hole. Because of the holiday they weren’t able to get me a replacement sent to them till the following day but were able to get me in and help with the issue. Friendly and helpful. I would definitely go there again. Great local shop!!

John, the owner of this multi-generational family business, picked me and my dog up on I-93N and brought us to my door at 3am. I had just experienced a traumatic solo car accident (mm. 90, please be safe). He was kind, thoughtful and generous. The next day I went to Arnold's to gather my belongings from my totaled m.v. and convey my gratitude to John, (by the Grace of God go I...I'm fine). I arrived and walked into a museum filled with smiling, wonderful and helpful people. Businesses are so much more than just a biz. I encourage you to give these folks a try. For me, will ya?

If I could give this garage no stars I would. I was on the side of a highway with a flat tire AAA sent them it took them 45 minutes to get to me although they were only 15 mi away, and when they got there the guy doing the job was so disrespectful he made me feel as if I did something wrong, and once he got the tire off he flung it at me and told me I could take care of that he parked his tow truck in front of my vehicle had me standing outside on the side of the road then telling me that my spare tire wasn't the right tire for my vehicle. In which it was the factory made spare tire for this vehicle. He had me crying and feeling like a piece of crap I would never recommend this garage to anyone! They have absolutely no people skills and do not treat people as humans but as garbage. Thank God this incident is over

The Arnold's team are absolute lifesavers. Sit down, I have a story for you - My family and I went on a vacation to celebrate mine and my wife's 5th anniversary. From the moment we arrived, it was horrible. Our AirBnB didn't have power because the owner didn't pay the electric bill, the first night was spent waiting for a response until we were eventually moved to another location which we had to leave early in the morning for incoming guests. In the morning, the power still wasn't on and the owner wasn't giving a straight answer. Next, we decided to go on a scenic train ride. We'll, turns out I ran over some metal thing and deflated my tire. Arnold's helped us immensely. They put a donut on the car for us, called Town Fair Tire for us and ordered a new tire. On top of that, tese angels actually searched for motel and hotel vacancies for us since we had to refund our AirBnB. I can't speak for any in-depth auto work, but I can speak for the character of the people at Arnold's. They were all friendly, understanding, generous, and accommodating to a frazzled Rhode Island family that just rolled onto their lot. Thank you. You were the saving grace we needed today. Kindness doesn't even begin to describe those who help people in need.

Arnold’s towed my van from a remote campsite to their shop. My van had broken down and I had to secure a ride home to MA. My roadside assist service had trouble finding a tow company, but I found Arnold’s in the next town over. John the owner was really helpful and they handled the tow from the campground when others would not. This really put my mind at ease as my van was unattended in a practically empty campground. Huge thanks to Arnold’s for pulling my van to their shop. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to drive it home!

Arnold’s saved the day. We were at our Airbnb and getting ready to leave for the airport when we noticed we had a flat tire. Bob showed up within 30 minutes to put our spare on our rental but noticed we had a screw in it. He was able to plug it for us and put it back on. We were able to leave on time and make our flight! What great service. Bob was very friendly and helpful.

John and William were super attentive and helpful to repair our car tire which unfortunately got a screw stuck in it. Beginning to end it took like 15 minutes, in and out, reasonably priced and incredibly kind. Would recommend going to Arnold’s.

They were great in every way. On 2/21/24, I contacted AAA requesting fuel service at the hotel where I was staying. Even though it was quite late, I received a call from a very nice man who offered to send someone out immediately if I needed it. It wasn't really urgent though so we arranged for them to come at 10:30 the next morning. At 10:30am I was in my hotel room with my phone in hand for the second they called. What I didn't know was that AT&T was experiencing a nationwide outage and the phone in my hand may as well have been a brick. When I didn't answer my phone or texts, they easily could have given up and driven away. But that's not what they did. The driver (Bob) must have gone to the front desk and had them look me up because I received a call on the room phone alerting me to the fact that he was there. We got gas and were able to hit the road without worry soon after. Once my phone started working again, the text messages Bob had sent earlier that day came through. So glad he persisted even after unanswered calls and texts! Great company!

Be careful using Arnold's Auto Center. They were able to get my truck picked up on a flatbed on a Friday night as they were closing but that was about the only thing that went well. Short story: they caused $4500 worth of damage to my truck, didn't actually fix the original problem with my truck, overcharged by almost double, and then were rude and refused to fix the problems they caused or help in any way. Now the long story: First issue: The tow truck driver (who talked about working 65+ hours already that week) struggled to load my truck on the flatbed and eventually placed my truck on the flatbed backwards. On the highway to their shop, the tonneau cover (that the tow truck driver had unlatched) came flying up and struck the top of my truck cab, damaging the top of my truck severely ($4500 worth of damage). They never mentioned this to me at all and just re-latched the tonneau cover. When I picked the truck up, the next afternoon, I didn't realize the extent of the damage until later that day. I called them to address it and was told "it was not our drivers fault, and we assume no responsibility, you should call your insurance company" Second issue: They replaced my starter motor while it was there, but in doing so, they broke the electrical connector to plug it in. Third issue: They did not fix the above issue, or let me know they broke it. (two weeks later, my starter didn't work again because the connector came unplugged). Forth issue: Again, I called to address the above issue with the wiring, Stacey, the service advisor, told me they didn't have a manager and she also refused to get the owner out of the shop to talk with me. I told her my issue and she said, "we didn't do anything wrong, you can deal with O'Reillys auto parts to get it warrantied if you want" Fifth issue: I was charged $640 for the replacement of my starter. I was told it would be roughly an hour at $80 an hour and $223 for the starter. That is a total of $303 not $640. I would not recommend using this shop or the tow service they provide.

Super amazing service! We were in a terrible location with almost no cell service when our car blew a tire AND the tire seized so we couldn't get our doughnut on. They were able to get the tire off, replace all 4 tires that night and get us on our way! Made the whole ordeal pretty stress free all things considered. Highly recommend!

During a recent road trip, we found ourselves in a dire situation when our brakes started failing. In a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon this exceptional auto mechanic. Not only did they provide immediate service, but their expertise in replacing our brake pads and rotors was truly impressive. What truly stood out was their fair pricing, a rarity in the world of auto repairs. It's not every day you encounter such honesty and integrity in this industry. Moreover, the mechanic and their team were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the process, making an otherwise stressful situation much more manageable. We're immensely grateful for their prompt assistance, reasonable rates, and the warm hospitality they extended to us. If you ever need automotive help in this area, this mechanic is an absolute gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend their services.

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I was on a road trip from NJ into Canada when my car broke down in Lincoln. It was a Sunday. Jon picked up the phone right away and sent Charlie over for a jumpstart in under 15 minutes. When that did not work, Jon worked out a plan with us. We would continue our trip in a rental while he towed the car into his shop later in the day and worked on it. We would pick it up on our way back from Canada a week later. Jon and his guys' professionalism turned a stressful situation into a positive one. We got to continue our trip without any delay. Jon or one of his guys always answered the phone right away when I called. The car was working again when we picked it up on our way back from Canada. Jon charged us a very reasonable fee. They were honest and easy to deal with the whole time.

I drove up from Maryland and so fortunate to have found this shop! I had a slow leak that resulted in me needing a new tire. I was in and out within 35 minutes. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made me laugh. I hope you don’t need similar services but if you do this is a great place to go! So grateful for the team here - THANK YOU!

We had to stop by Arnolds for a tire that was losing air. They were able to find and remove a small piece of metal from the tire, and patch it. We appreciated the help and friendly service. We are from NYC and are used to higher prices for things, but we've gone to shops before who have charged anywhere from $8-15 for just a patch. They charged us $25 so we were very surprised at the price - but did appreciate the service.
