Craig is ALWAYS fair,honest,and hardworking. They have been doing all my work since he took over in 2015. Absolutely no complaints.
Today he went above and beyond by delivering my repaired truck and taking my van in for service. Couldn't ask for more!
Craig and his mechanic(s) are great at their job. They are honest and hard working. They do all the work on my Ford f-150 and on my wife's KIA Sportage. They are very affordable, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is hard to find a Mechanic, let alone two, with these attributes in the same place. Did I mention that Craig also does local snowplowing and sanding ? He does. Thank you Craig for all you do to keep my wife and I on the road.
After having some bad experiences with various other shops in the area, I decided to try Canaan Auto Center in 2021. Craig and Don have done all of the work on my Jeeps since then - I won't go anywhere else. Very honest, fair, reliable service and a truly NO NONSENSE business. They really care about earning your patronage. Craig is the owner, but he's also the lead mechanic onsite, which is convenient because you're receiving the info about your car straight from the technician, not some secretary or shady salesman. He has no problem showing you the problem(s) if you request it too. They are a few miles extra drive outside of town but it's worth it to know your vehicles are in good hands. If you are looking for a great local full-service automotive center, this is the place.
Was in a pinch with a set of extremely tricky tires. Every single shop and dealership told me they would "try" it in all of the upper valley or told me they could not handle it. Well I wanted somebody that knew they could. A friend recommended these guys. Craig was extremely confident it was not a problem. Dropped my rig off all day a day later. He was able to get the set mounted on black wheels (ask anybody its next to impossible to not scratch) with not a single mark. The balancing was perfect and still is. Again, extremely hard for the size tire and wheel. He was able todo it on shorter notice. Best of all he was the best price. Its hard these days to find somebody you trust todo work on your vehicle but I found the one I do. They may be slightly out of the way but worth it every time.
Honest and dependable which is hard to very hard to find in this area labor rate was good also.l have been to many shops and this one is top notch in my own opi.
This place was recommended to me from a friend. They are a small crew but do honest work. They can typically get you in quick, and diagnose the issue you are having with your car or truck. I had some issues with my truck and they were able to fix both issues and also use a part that I had previously purchased. They charge a very fair rate per hour and do state inspections. Craig, the shop owner, was easy to work with and spoke with me about the issues I faced and about the options I had to proceed. Couldn't be happier to be back on the road.
