I can’t say enough good things about Rindge Stone and Gravel. I placed a rather large order of stone dust for horse riding ring and they were so easy to work with. Jay is amazing: Friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be using them for all my earth products here on out.
Had sand delivered to our paddock and also had some crushed stone / pack delivered for the driveway! Jay was very helpful and the delivery drivers were great! Just moved up here and glad I could find a friendly business to work with! I got 10 ton of crushed stone for my driveway and spread it myself. Quality product! Came out great! Had some left over and even used it underneath for a patio I built!
Can’t say enough good things about these guys. I was picking up multiple loads of driveway gravel in my dump trailer. Everyone at the yard was helpful and had a smile. The yard is easy to navigate and the loader is accurate with his weights and loaded my trailer evenly (which if you’re towing 3 tons you’ll appreciate). The gravel mix was also very uniform and spread well. A great experience all around.
Great customer service. I feel appreciated as a customer... they always respectfully load all the trucks.. their deliveries are prompt and on time... their product price is the best in the area without compromising quality of product. I am forever grateful for this quarry opening up operations in an area that desperately needed it!
We have ordered mulch last year. People seemed friendly. We decided to do business with them again. To my surprise they attached a $100 delivery charge per truckload of gravel. They expect the same charge for the second load. Granted we’re not far at all. Exactly 4.7 miles. Not even 5 miles away. I took out last year’s receipt. Delivery was $70. Still on the high side. But this time it was outrageous **$100**. I like to know how you justify this charge. For labor and distance or just plain taking advantage. Refused to pay $200. They offered $20 off. I have the sewage guy coming next week from Hudson. and he’s going to earn his labor charge of $60 plus maintenance. I’m out of my wits over this initial $200 delivery fee. Public service warning!!! If anyone in the future plan to order any types of services, be sure to ask what other fees you could expect. I did not appreciate that they’re not transparent upfront about that charge until they dropped the load on the driveway. Lesson learned here. Never again.
11/11/24- here’s last year’s receipt from your company for proof. Correction: It was top soil, not mulch.
They are easy to consult with and will give you good advice. Very knowledgeable and competent people. They have many stone and gravel options for your project, at the best prices around.
