Best place in Vegas for CAT recycling. Call them. They are up front on the quote range once they see a photo of your CAT. Need an appointment btw. Have all your ownership paperwork ready and take it to them. They close at 5pm. I was afraid that they might give me the low end of the quote. Even though my CAT just passed smog and an original 1999 odyssey(transmission died) with intact solid honeycomb. But the guy in the back was great. Inspected it in front of me and gave me the high end of the quote. I appreciate that. Thanks.
I called 4 places in Vegas. One online - Oregon base. Need to ship to them hence quote is lower. One does not deal with individuals. The only other place - global is kinda suspicious. I called to get a quote but they wanted to see it. I brought it in but they want all the paper work done first before giving a quote. But they are only open till 3 pm. Work time conflict. And they seem to want to get your CAT to inspect inside behind the door without you. Kinda suspicious. They can pull a switcheroo. Forget them. So stop the search and go to western for CAT recyling. They are a solid honest company.

Don’t waste your time anywhere else! I Came in on a Saturday to get rid of some converters off my 98 mustang. This place has great service and I wouldn’t even try to go anywhere else. They need an option to put more than 5 stars for sure.
Pretty annoyed by my service from this place. I brought my converter to this place. We didn't want them because they had water on them. I just drove through ran. I don't know what he expected. Said I needed a title. I replaced 2 converters Years ago. I don't have the title. Even though the front door says you need identification which I have. He says when people steal them, they put them in water. I didn't do that. One is rusted, it's old. Another has spider webs in it. Who steals old cats and leaves them in the yard to rust before they turn them in. Maybe I should have dressed better, and made sure they were dry. I don't recommend this place at all. There as to be a better way to prove cats are not stolen. On the website I could have mailed them in. Why would I drive in if they were stolen.
Awesome!!! …. Steve’s the man. The shop was clean and very organized. I GOT ABSOLUTELY TOP DOLLAR $$$ On my catalytic converters and am still in disbelief. This will always be now my first stop for recycling auto parts
I took an old catalytic converter from a car that I slapped a turbo in while ago and they gave me top dollar for it guy that was super friendly and the transaction was quick I was in and out within five minutes 10 out of 10 recommend again
