Quick loading of copper wire. You can check axle weight on their scale. I was overweight on drive axle. They fix it in 10 minutes. So far, this is the fastest recycling pick up I had.
Loaded in 1.5 hours. I showed up at 3:20 p.m., too. A day early. With a double pickup load to be restacked. The 2 issues. 1. We must drive onto the street to reweigh the truck empty and loaded. 2. The cleanest bathroom is the pink one for the ladies , It's locked cuz the men are so dirty.
The loaders make sure the weight is legal and good. I used straps in case. Maybe they don't need it. The paperwork can take longer than loading sometimes. But they do a good job and it's balanced.
Cool recycling center. Just drive through the front gate grab a cart, offload your recyclables and bring it to the scales. After that the employees do the rest as far as weighing it out and getting you your money. Check their website for current pricing and materials you can bring to them. I changed out my muffler and put in a Magnaflow Cat back to the dual resonators and back tipped exhaust pipes. Live those Magnaflows. Great sound. Anyways...lol go see the Guys and Gals at SA Recycling.
There pricing makes no sense. I visited about a month ago and I had 100 pounds of steel car parts and received around $300 bucks that day. I go again to drop off around 350 pounds of steel rotors and other steel car parts and only paid me $22.50. Now at first i was confused and went back the next day to ask them about it on why they paid so little compared to last time. They made no sense explaining there prices and at this point all I can think of is that they either made a mistake the first time or they took advantage of me an 18 yr old kid trying to make a little money on the side. Disappointing.
If you go at the right time it's right in and right out the people are friendly and I think they pay the highest prices of everybody I highly recommend s&a recycle on losee road
No one speaks English. Plus it's a fee recycling, well that's what the guy screaming at me said. YOU PAY YOU TICKET! I said get away from me I'm leaving.
Staff members are helpful, I got more money for my 223, 556 amd 9mm brass then what I was expecting after calling for a price check the same morning, BIG +. Used all the extra money on more ammo
