My Rep Ted Miland took good care of me at B&R through out the entire process. He was very attentive and always quick to respond to my messages. There was an issue with the engine i bought, it was still under warranty, and they honored that warranty and got me back up and running . There’s always small issues that come up when doing an engine swap , but it felt good to know B&R and Ted were on my side the entire time. Whenever I can receive the part that I've ordered I'm generally satisfied, but over the last five times I've used the website to order there's always an issue. First, there's supposed to be an email or call when the order is ready for pickup, and there has never been one in the time I've ordered parts from here, which has been several years, and when I reach out they're usually unsure if it's completed or not, so I go down to the location. When I arrive either I'm told to go to the back where they're unable to find the part, or I'm told at the counter that the part is cancelled but they're unsure why. When it is cancelled they're unsure of who is going to issue the refund or when it may happen, and after asking several times I'm told that the commerce department needs to be contacted because it's not an automatic refund on a part that they cancelled. I’m unsure if this is a commerce department issue where every part I order has already been sold when I purchased it or my location, but it’s not the greatest waiting a week or two each time to find out the item I thought I was going to get, I will not be getting. I enjoy the ability to order online so over the span of a year I've just hoped that each occurrence is a fluke, but I cannot order a part without an issue occurring. The most recent part I ordered over a week ago has no update, no contact, I've had to reach out to them as the order still says processing. But although it still says processing my credit charge was reversed, which sounds like once again an order has been cancelled and no one has reached out. I've spoken to Michael from the Oregon location in the past who is extremely helpful and friendly, although it seems my particular location has issues. Michael assisted me in ordering a carpet for my car at one point to my location in which insisted they didn't have that was shipped from Oregon, but after him calling them several times, it showed up and was given to me less than an hour later in what seemed like dismay to them. Edit: I was spoken to regarding this experience, and on my most recent order there was a significant improvement in communication, including images of the item before it arrived. (Thankfully it wasn't cancelled.) The most recent experience was wonderful but to be expected after being spoken to, hopefully it is consistent in future experiences as well, I'll update as I have future orders to speak from.
