Tyler was great to work with. We set out to only look for a car for our daughter but when we ran across the Jeep at Gretna Auto Outlet we couldn’t let it go. Tyler and Jeff were amazing to work with and made the experience super fast and easy. I highly recommend this place. We will be back!

This is my second vehicle purchase from Gretna Auto. Both times, they were able to give me top dollar on my trade in. Nick was great to work with. He’s less of a salesman and more like a matchmaker trying to get you into a vehicle that fits your specs and price. Mike was there to help too in Nick’s absence and a pleasure to work with. Michael was awesome. The car we came in to look at sold and just so happened to have one being traded in while we were there. He made it happen. Even cleaned the suv up himself (it was dirty from the long drive to be traded in) while we finalized the paperwork. The team made it happen and my wife and I couldn't be happier.

So I bought a 2017 highlander back in November, I've waited to leave a review to see how the follow up would go. After seeing the vehicle online I went to the dealership to see it in person, I was told it was at the shop,but was encouraged to make an offer site unseen. I came back the next day and test drove the vehicle and asked how much the price would go up if the body work WAS done. I was told the original price and financing offer was based on my initial offer and that I could get the body worked done separately, pay for it myself, but get Greta Auto's price. I was also told the body repair would be less than $1,000 (the final price was $1,702.94). I also asked if it was possible to get a spare key/fob and manual? Chad said he would look into it, but it probably wouldn't be a problem. When we came to pick up the vehicle, the initial financing rep(I believe his name was Jeff?) almost lost them the sale. He was a very aggressive, fast-talking businessman, and we nearly walked out. There are other places to buy vehicles. After purchasing the vehicle I kept calling Chad at least once a week to check on the spare key and manual. he would reply that he's looking into it, but never gave a follow-up. I eventually found the manuals online and I'll purchase a spare key at my next convenience. Overall, my experience with Greta Auto was disappointing. i am happy with the vehicle, but I credit toyota for that not Greta Auto. When it comes time to purchase a vehicle for my wife, we will probably look elsewhere.

Chad was amazing. I was definitely didnt make it easy for him but he addressed any and all issues and questions I had with solutions to make sure I would be happy and satisfied. Even after the sale we are staying in contact till a couple things that needs fixed get adjusted at a later date. Thanks again Chad!

Purchased a pickup truck sight unseen - The salesman stated NO RUST in his email - That was a lie ... The truck began having drivetrain issues within 50 miles of leaving the dealership - We got the truck in our shop to discover the axle seals were leaking, which ruined the brake shoes, the backing plates (dust covers) were 100% rusted off - as well as extensive rust damage to the tailgate (any layered metal areas) - the oil cooler lines were even rusted off ... The rear bumper has been replaced, likely because it was rotted clean out .... We were promised a second key fob in the mail - never got one ...The truck had a perm plate addendum added in cost - a 999$ dollar upcharge - this essentially means they power washed it and will give you a couple quick wash jobs for 3 months after purchasing - to bad it took two months of arguing about obtaining a title and repair work until it would even drive. Regarding the title, they purchased the truck from an auction, and flipped it before they even had a title (which is illegal according to the DOT inspector) ..... Absolutely the worst buying experience we have ever had ... Google vin #'s before buying because they guys are auction jockeys looking for big upcharges .. Buyers be aware!!!

They were very good at giving the info I needed. They gave me money off, put in bread tires, did an alignment and fixed some places on the car. They were very pleasant. Michael and Frank were very easy to work with. Anyone that needs a car or truck really need to check them out.

This isn’t a review about buying a truck here because we didn’t get that far but the journey we took with them was great and Chad was amazing. Very attentive to what we wanted and needed. He took the time to get us a great deal but we were offered another one closer to us that we couldn’t pass up. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again Chad!

Buying a vehicle here was a breeze. We specifically worked with Shawn and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He was honest with us, allowed for a pre purchase inspection, and even stayed later to sell us the vehicle. Tyler and Brad went above and beyond for me to get into my truck!! I had been looking at other dealers for months and the service Tyler and Brad gave me at Gretna Auto Outlet was better than any other dealer!! I felt like every other dealer was trying to take advantage of me, but not these guys!!! They gave me more for my trade, honest with me about the truck I was buying and had me done with paperwork in like 15 minutes!! Probably one of my best auto purchasing experiences I’ve had. These guys did an amazing job of communicating and delivering what they advertised. Not to mention the fact that the actual purchase took less than 15 minutes to complete, something that rarely happens at a dealership. Great experience!

Buyer Beware! This summer on June 29th, we went in on a Sunday just to look at cars on the lot. I was highly surprised to find out they were open on Sundays. Chad Engel greeted us and showed us around their interior lot. Everything seemed great at first. Firstly, we started up a Ford Expedition, which sounded horrible when the engine started. Nonetheless, we test drove a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT. The vin for that Explorer is the following, VIN: 1FMSK8DH3LGB52895 Asking price: $23,988 It is the grey Explorer in the picture. While Test driving this 2020 Ford Explorer, the transmission started slipping while my wife was driving it. We drove up to the outlet mall, I had her stop and I drove it back. We went back north on Highway 6 towards the dealership and turned east on Capehart road. While going up the slight incline on Capehart, still intermittently slipping, it acted as if it couldn’t shift and was possibly gonna stall out and start rolling backwards. It shifted extremely rough while upshifting & downshifting being the worst. Upon getting back to the dealership, I told Chad that this transmission had issues and asked if there was any recalls on this vehicle. He did a quick Google search and use the AI search function and told me there were no recalls on this vehicle except for a seatbelt recall. I vaguely remembered or maybe I did my own research, but there was a transmission recall. Therefore, I told him to type into Google 2020 explorer transmission recalls. Walla. It showed up a transmission recall. He insisted that we drive another explorer to see if that one had the same transmission issues. It was a year newer, a 2021, a higher trim level, and $3000 out of our budget. We did not want to drive it, but he insisted that we make sure that it wasn’t just me having a placebo effect with the 2020 Explorer. Definitely making it seem like I can’t tell when a transmission is slipping. The 2021 Explorer is the black one in the picture. Reluctantly, we did the test drive and of course it did not have any problems. Which I highlighted with Chad that the first Explorer needed something done to the transmission. I made it clear that if the 2020 Explorer got the transmission fixed, we were highly interested in it. He maid it clear that he would get it looked into. I called Monday and Chad told me he would get it in to have the recall done the next day, Tuesday. I knew that was too good to be true. If you go to a dealership and have a recall done, it’s never a quick turnaround on getting on their schedule. I continually called throughout the week not hearing from Chad and he always told me. Oh yeah we’re gonna get it in. At one point in time he told me that it was at their personal shop in Lincoln, having the recall done by their own people. I’ve never heard of a recall getting done by anyone except for a dealer, but I don’t know everything so maybe so. I drove through the lot a few days later and saw the same explorer sitting there on the lot. Since I had not heard from Chad, I called the dealership and asked to speak to Chad. When Chad answered the phone, I asked him about the car and he said “Oh I did not know that. Maybe they got it back already.” He said he needed to get back to the customer that he was dealing with in person and asked if you could call me back later after checking into it. He never called back. Three times he said he would call back, and never did call me back even once. I really wanted to get this review written and include the Vin of the 2020 Explorer, so that someone wouldn’t be go into buying that Explorer. But I never did write it until now. I highly doubt they ever got the transmission fixed and I’m guessing he was lying about it going to their personal shop. I would never do business with this dealership and I would recommend that no one else does either. It seems like quite a few, if not all of their cars have problems. They seem really shady. Please read their reviews. They seem to have a lot more than average bad reviews and always are doing shady stuff. Buyer beware!

My son bought his 1st vehicle here and I'm sorry he had to learn the hard way. This dealership took advantage of an 18-year-old making one of the biggest purchases he'll ever make. They did not offer him any warranty on this vehicle and now they won't even help try to figure out what the issue is. They unplugged the battery so the check engine light would stay off for some hundred miles, so by the time we drove it home, from Gretna to Scottsbluff, NE, we wouldn't know anything. Three days later, the check engine, ABS, hill assist, traction control lights were all on. The whole dash is lit up. When we called, Chad was hopeful to help, but we had to talk to Ryan, and he said it is as-is. I understand the as-is policy, but to take advantage of a teenager and allowing him to make such a purchase with no warranty is simply predatory. I do not recommend Gretna Auto Outlet.

My husband and I purchased a car here and I regret ever walking onto the lot. The vehicle has been nothing but a disaster. There have been problems after problems, spending thousands to fix it all while we still owe thousands on it. I recommend that you find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money and time. It says a lot about a place when you experience issues with your purchase and you are met with the runaround. When we are talking about such a huge expense that will take you years to pay off, plus repairs and the fact that you are relying on the vehicle. Well, It matters and I have an obligation to let others know that this is not a good life’s choice for you to visit this dealership. Please save yourself the time, money, and stress and go somewhere else. I’ve had amazing experiences at H & H Chev in Papillion with the purchase of my son’s vehicle. Edit to review: They did reach out to my husband with an offer to pay more money for an even worse off vehicle than we are already suck with. It’s the same situation as another review I seen a person leave on here. So, basically you are stuck with whatever you get from there and have been warned! We have now put thousands into the vehicle we got from here and still owe thousands on it. They never even called us, they do not care. They reached out via email only with no help, concern or compassion. I added pictures to show you yes, the outside and inside of the vehicle is clean and in good condition. DON’T LET THAT FOOL YOU!

First time buying from the Gretna Auto Outlet; I had a great experience from the customer service I received when I called about availability to the way my son and I were treated when we walked in, Shawn our salesman was on top of his game and Brad had us flying through the purchasing paperwork like a true professional. Gretna Auto Outlet had a great arcade space to make the process less painful for kids and parents alike!! 10/10 will shop with them again!
