Very helpful! While en route from Denver to Vermont in Jan 2026 my daughter & I had a tire that seemed to keep losing air. A gas station 12 miles west of Big Springs recommended Big Springs Tire & Auto Repair so we dropped in. The owner, James, took plus right in, pulled the problematic tire and was very helpful in getting us back on the road in less than an hour. Thank you James & Big Springs Tire & Auto Repair!
I was traveling on I80 when I had a flat tire. This was the closest repair shop. I was impressed with how clean and organized his shop area was! Definitely a sign of someone that pays attention to details. James was very professional, and had me on my way in no time at a more that reasonable price! Highly recommend!
If you get a flat on the freeway right around the Nebraska/Colorado border, I recommend this place. Great customer service; the mechanic answered the phone immediately and was available as soon as the car was towed in. He did not try to upsell on tires, only to plug and patch if possible and then replace when it was not without requiring a replacement of all four. Really appreciate the work, as it got me to my destination!
My tire got a nail while driving to CSU for my dog to see a specialist. I was already stressed and they got me in quickly to patch my tire! They were very nice and allowed my dog to sit in the shop with me while I waited! I can't thank them enough for their help!
Thos little Mom and Pop place is always ready to help! And, if they can't help, they will recommend someone who can. Just great small town service, very community- minded.
James helped me get my Ford Ranger back on the road in no time. He was able to get me an OEM part the same day. Replaced my plugs and coil pack after driving 4000 miles straight. I was impressed with his shop. Nice waiting area, Snap On tools, and low price. He talked with my husband long distance to make a call on the diagnostic. Definitely would recommend him to do repairs or tires. Thanks so much for saving me!
Driving on i-80 and experienced some car troubles. We were in luck because we were close to the big springs repair shop. We spoke to James on the phone before we got there and he was ready when we arrived. Super helpful and had us up and back on the road in no time. Want to say thanks again to these folks if you have issues I'd highly recommend.

We were traveling I-80 on a tight schedule, when our van started to have major issues. I called to make sure someone could take a look at it quickly. When we pulled into the parking lot, James came out to greet us and had us pull right in. He found the problem quickly and fixed us up properly. He then made sure the suspension components and tires all looked good. The price was more than fair. We would definitely patronize them again, but hope it's not necessary;)
The bathrooms and waiting area were clean and comfortable.
We were on our way home from Colorado, and our tire started going flat. We exited at the Big Springs exit, and called the tire shop and they said to come. We were there less than 30 minutes and our tire was repaired and we were on our way. Very friendly and very reasonably priced. Thank you for your great and compassionate service.
Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and no one came. The phone rang and whoever answered it in the shop was screaming and cussing at the person on the other end. So I left. Don't need a hot head working on my truck. That's how accidents happen and things get overlooked is during anger. Will just go to ogallala from now on.
Rude and was ignored for 30 mins so I left plus the 110.00 a hr for labor was slightly rediculous. I get it ppl have bills but that's a lil rediculous . A hollar be right with you goes a long way . I get it it's a tire shop can't get away right away , but at least acknowledge a customer!

I was not even 1/4 of the way on a 1500 mile drive home when I saw screw in my tire. The gas station I was at recommended this place. I promptly drove 12 miles to this place and they fit me in and got me back on the road.
The owners allowed me to bring in my giant dog while I waited. They were very friendly and listened to my worries of the safety of my car (this was the second thing stuck in my tire while in Colorado, a broken windshield, and something broken with leaf springs).
The auto mechanic went above and beyond by checking all 4 tires to make sure there weren’t anymore nails or screws I happened to roll over. When I was leaving, they recommended a Toyota dealership for the re-torque (I wasn’t taking any chances by not having that done after all of my terrible luck).
The price was very reasonable.

Great service! We had a screw in our tire while traveling on I80. Stopped at the truck stop to see if they could repair it and they referred us to Big Springs Auto just up the road. We were in and out of there in under 30 minutes with our tire repaired. Friendly, fast and reasonably priced service!
My splash guard broke after driving over something with about 400 miles to go before my destination for the day. They patched me up good enough to get me back on the road so I can get home for a true replacement, and so far so good. Thanks for helping me stay on schedule with my trip.

We lost our tire on I-80 yesterday in 102 degree heat. I found Big Springs Tire & Auto Repair on Google Maps, called them and they got us in before they closed for the day. They were wonderful and saved the day for us. The tire was unfortunately not repairable but they found an old used one the right size which they gave to us. Their rates were extremely reasonable. We are so thankful they were there and willing to help.
A nightmarish road trip took yet another turn for the worse when we realized our tire was not going to get us safely to our destination several states away. We found Big Springs Tire, they got us in right away and had us back on the road within ten minutes with well wishes for the rest of our trip. The kindness showed to us was greatly appreciated. Pulled into the shop with oil spraying everywhere from a botched Walmart oil change. James washed the engine down, found the crack in the oil filter mount, drove to the deal ship in Ogallala got the part and had us on the road in 4 hours. These are very nice competent people. Patronize them!

I am from out of town. And I came here to see if they could diagnose my van. The owners of this business are fantastic! Unfortunately they were not able to fix my car but they did figure out what was wrong with it and it was the transmission. They do a little bit on transmission but mine was a catastrophic failure these people were amazing the pricing was also really really good. I want to thank them very much!
Driving across the country from west coast to east coast. heard some noise in my front left tire and pulled into this shop. they were quick and able tell me what the problem was within minutes. they ordered the needed part and fixed it early morning the next day. very great people and highly recommend

Traveling from Montana back to Missouri and had a blow out on the side of 80. Found this shop very close to us and made it there. The gentleman stopped what he was doing and helped us right away. Genuinely don’t find kind hearted people in the world hardly anymore. Got a brand new tire for a very reasonable price. We didn’t have to wait forever like most shops. We truly appreciate all the help from them and getting us back on the road.
