Steve and team have serviced my autos for years. He actually caught an unexpected transmission issue with one of my cars that kept me from being stranded upon further use. In addition, I had to make an emergency trip to OR and he squeezed me in to his already packed schedule and made sure my vehicle was ready for the trip. I have always received efficient, competent and friendly service from him, Beau and Rayn. I not only recommend him/them here, but to anyone that I sell auto insurance to who might need a reliable, knowledgable and helping hand. Prices are extremely fair and customer service is the best you can find. Hands down, my go to.
Steve and his crew are the absolute best people you could work with. I have had the privilege of using Steve as my mechanic for over 10 years. He is the most honest, straightforward and fair person one could ask to work with. I cannot recommend him high enough. I tell all my friends it's worth the drive to go to Stevensville from Missoula because they can 100% know they will be working with a trustworthy and competent team. He's worked on my parents cars and many of my friends and I'll continue to work with him as well as tell everyone about him when they're having car trouble.
Cash and go cars just did a great job on our 2017 ford explorer, everything was done on time just like they said and even less then I thought it would cost. No need to climb under my car in the snow to work on it anymore cash and go will have all my business,

Steve and his crew are amazing! It did take 2 weeks to get an appointment (he's busy because he's fantastic), but my car was done the same day. He even went the extra mile to find a replacement headrest after my dog chewed on mine. Great service, reliable, honest.
Called and asked a question only to be hung on. In a terrible situation and could’ve just gotten a simple no. Most places would direct me to help, never got so distraught in the middle of nowhere before.
7 weeks later and i dont think he's ordering my parts. He did the wrong repair first go around and set off several codes(stabilitrac warning and traction control) and the check engine light. He was very defensive about his poor communication and lack of diagnosis(i offered to take the mechanic for a drive to show them what the issue was) and fell 100% short in his stating of "he would make it right and take care of me" other than clearing the stabilitrac and traction control warnings. My check engine light has been on every damn day since...warning!!! 1 star for replacing the wrong part and an oil change.
Need to let newcomers know about these guys. Steve and his crew has been taking care of all my car needs for years. From supplying my teenage kids (now both in 30’s) to our current either maintenance needs or problems. Steve and crew has taken care of us with never an issue for close to 20 years. Any problems after repairs always fixes with no charge (labor) I have bought vehicles and let him sell trades. Steve is a ALWAYS honest and let’s you know major issues before repair and if you know repair shops prices very very fair.
This was easily the best experience I've had with any mechanic or body shop. They did a fantastic job fixing my car for way less than anyone else quoted me for it. The work they did was well done and exactly what I needed. I Would 100% recommend cash and go cars as the best place to take your car in the valley.
Very customer friendly and courteous, he does excellent work, at a very fair price. All the way thru, giving me a ride to my house and then delivering my truck, is almost unheard of these days!
When your car lot in in a cow pasture you have to be good....most people in this area are commuting to Missoula so lots of good little economy cars in stock. This being Montana there is always 4x4's and the owner is a Mercedes enthusiast so you can find one or two of those also.
