Purchased a Dash/Rear window Cam for Honda CRV but didn't want the wiring to be visible. Made an appointment, got there 15 minutes early. They had the job done and wires well concealed in under 2 hours, very neatly done.

We had an issue with our drivers side window and we needed to get it fixed before we left in 2 days!! They got us in as quickly as we could get the vehicle in and fixed it within 4 hours!!! They are great!! We will always go to them first with any vehicle issues and will highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.
Great service at a great price. Never been charged any more that what was quoted. If there was any problem after, they honored warranty. They've worked on my personal vehicles and work trucks. Everything from tires to engine work, I trust them with all my vehicles

Christmas Eve before closing helping a military veteran in a wheelchair and kootenai garage tells me "I don't know what to tell you" when trying to have a battery with a bad cell warrantied out on a two month old battery! Absolutely sickening and disheartening that there is that little care and effort put forth when not only taking care of a customer but a military vet who has given their all for this country. I will be finding a different interstate dealership and I will remember their "I don't know what to tell you" attitude.
Kootenai Garage did an amazing job replacing my wheel bearings on my Lexus — all done the same day and at a really great price! The team was fast, reliable, and super trustworthy. It’s hard to find a shop that’s honest and efficient like these guys. Definitely recommend them if you need any kind of repair or maintenance done — they’ll take great care of you and your car.
If you want to get treated like you’re an idiot and pay for something to NOT get done, go here. Came in for some suspension work, new tires+alignment and paid anbout $2k and still had same wear issue on BRAND NEW tires. Brought it back in to be corrected and got the car back with a gnarly squeaking brake. Still waiting to see if the wear issue remains. Will never go back. I can pay someone off Craigslist to do better than this.

Take my explorer here for oil changes, they take very good care of me, the young men are very friendly and respectful, won’t hesitate to use them if I ever need it worked on! Love that it’s family owned.
I took my dually here for oil and fuel filter changes thinking they were doing the full sercice on my truck. I thought they were checking tire pressures a long with the filter changes etc.. I asked them to make sure my tires were at the max pressure because I'll be towing a trailer and the guy said he couldn't do it because its a dually and they don't have the connection. This is not an expensive tool) So I asked him if they were checking my tires the last times I was there and his replay was "no". I dont know what there checklist is for if they aren't doing the job.
I placed my passport on the console. It got shoved by other documents and went down and behind the console. We stopped by the Kootenai Garage to see if they could help. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They had the proper tools to be able to fish it and other things that had previously slipped. Learned not to place anything there. Thank you Jeremy and crew!!!!!!
“Will not install customer supplied parts.” Not like I conjured these parts up from my manufacturing facility in my shed! I have two camshaft sensors that I had to order because none of the parts houses had any. I suppose they want to jack up the costs for folks in the area and blame inflation or “insurance”, who knows. I’ll find another shop that wants to be honest.
My experience here has been excellent. I had my radiator replaced on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. The work was my request, not something sold to me by this garage. I was quoted a much lower price then a Jeep dealer quoted me and while Jeep told me the radiator was on back order, and they didn't know when they could do the work, Kootenai Garage found me a high quality radiator; installed it quickly at a very reasonable price and the final cost was less then their quote. I've driven it daily now for a few months with no leaks and no problems. I highly recommend this garage. Good people.
June 30, 2022 An update to the above review: Just returned from a 4800 mile round trip to the Yukon pulling my trailer with my Cherokee thru the mountains and along The Cassier Highway and Icefields Parkway. No problems with the radiator installed by this garage, and it did get quite a test. Highly recommend this shop.
Very expensive. No clear breakdown for the pricing. Charged me $42 for oil... $20 in labor... And $152 in.. parts? For an oil change? When I asked they just floundered and couldn't give me a straight answer. Stereotypical car shop taking advantage of my emergency.
I work full time making it hard to get my vehicle in for repair. Searching Google i find kootenai garage in my town and Google says they are open M-Sa and closed sunday only to show up when they open at 8am to do a car switch with my fiance so I am not stuck, to find they are closed Friday through Sunday and none of that is communicated to their Google front page. Its extremely unprofessional and lazy and the reason I will not be returning. A car shop that takes 3 day weekends and can't take the time to update their hours on a simple webpage is nowhere I want my hard earned money to go.
I had my first experience with Kootenia Garage this week. I took my Landcruiser in to have three seals replaced in the front-end that had been leaking oil. I crawled underneath the cruiser last night and pulled a skid plate to check there work. All good, no more oil leaks, they did it for the price they quoted, kept me informed of a few issues along the process. Good job.
We've trusted our vehicle service and repair to Kootenai Garage for several years and have never been disappointed. Their estimates have always been on target. They do quality work in a timely manner and are great folks to work with.
