Nothing daunts their professionalism. We brought our car in for a routine oil change. They opened the hood, and to their surpirse, a little cottontail stared at them. They humanely removed the scared little bunny, let it live the town life, and proceded with the oil charge. They're just the best.
Performance is AWESOME! Our truck broke down on I-90 just outside of Dillon. We limped back into town and found Performance on the internet. John, the owner, immediately looked at the truck, checked the codes, and diagnosed the problem (the trucks coolant reservoir had a catastrophic failure and we needed a new one. John got on the computer and phone and arranged to have the parts delivered by noon the next day. As soon as the parts arrived his guys got on it and we were back on the road

These guys are amazing! My son's truck broke down on the highway in Dillon, MT and they were the only ones that would take a look at his truck to diagnose the problem. I called everywhere and they all turned me away except for Performance Truck and Auto. They helped him when no one else would. I am very grateful to these people and definitely recommend their business.
Always thorough, honest and efficient! I've been here several times and they're always so understanding of the situations and work me in as soon as they possibly can for a reasonable rate. They are always transparent with what was done to the car and what has to be done. Great company! Great team!
I was traveling west from Virginia. I started having transmission problems. I had a slight vibration like running over a rumble strip. While in Dillon for 2 days I had the transmission flushed and new fluid added. Performance truck and auto did a wonderful job. They got me in and done in a very reasonable Time. I have since drove home and after 2,000 mi I still have no problem. The issue was fixed.
Honest, fair and fast! Performance has been our go-to for our fleet of vehicles for years. They are busy, because they are the best! I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep our rigs going down the road like they can.
NO CARE FOR EMERGENCIES... Oil sensor blew out on a trip leaking oil everywhere, had a sensor just needed it installed and make sure everything else was fine told me to go somewhere elsE there booked till February. Its a 15 minute job just dont have the tools to do it my self... Also all the bad reviews have an answer saying the sqedual was the problem fix ur schedule idiots 3 months of booked apt. Sounds like ur behind.
Took my vehicle in at 8am to get a heater tube replaced, balance rate, and general overview/inspection of the truck and tachometer. Did not hear from the shop until around 3pm, with them stating they only worked on it for 30 min. They didn’t replace the heater tube, couldn’t provide proof of a balance rate test, and spun my tachometer needle completely around (which could only be accomplished with near wide open throttle). It seems they charged me 80$ to put the pedal to the metal on the interstate and drive it back to the shop.
My daughters car was brought in because it had broke down. We had Performance Truck and Auto look at the car. They came back to us that the car needed a new engine for 10k. Also said it had metal in the oil. We hauled it back to our hometown and took it to our shop. Car only needed a hose and there was no metal in the oil. Car is just fine. Maybe you need a new diagnostic machine or find someone else to screw over. I will never recommend this shop.
Took my daughter’s Subaru Outback here with low oil pressure light on. They told me it needed a new engine for 10k. They said it failed a mechanical pressure test. Hauled the car to my Subaru mechanic in missoula who said the engine is fine and needed a new sensor only. Never go here. They will try to rip you off.
They made a more expensive repair than I requested and when I finally picked up my car, they had left the driver's window open, so I had snow in my car.
Not returning to this establishment.

We're from out of state, took our truck here for an oil change. They did an excellent job and were very thorough. 95% of the shops we've been to in our travels say they'll lube too then don't. Not this shop! I check everything the mechanic touches, job was 100% done right. Thanks for a job well done.
Performance is my top shop in town for vehicle needs & repair. The staff is friendly & efficient, easy to work with and honest about their work. I have taken a couple vehicles now to them and won't use another shop in town.
I was passing thru Dillon. I had an issue with my truck (2017 F350)and they were able to get me in and get it taken care of. And got me on my way. The mechanics were very helpful and good at what they do. I'd like to say thanks to all of them again.
Amazing!!!!! We literally pulled in 45 mins before closing on FRIDAY!! Small town, next business day is Monday. We had a problem with our electric window. We opened it 15 miles out of town and, oops.... would not close. These guys got it closed and us back on our trip before closing time!! Can't say enough good about this small town business. Thank you highway angels!!
Bad spark plug install terminated my engine and performance didn't take any responsibility; I had to pay for a replacement engine myself. If I could give negative 100 stars I would. - Wife was in town and check engine light came on; so took it to them to fix. Apparently was a bad spark plug and coil; they replaced and charged a couple hundred bucks. About 40 miles later the same exact plug and coil they replaced failed. Pieces of the spark plug went into the engine and it was DoA. They refused to help; didn't even refund me the price for the plug that killed my engine.
We we're traveling & experiencing transmission issues. The tech took good care of us, coming in at half the time and $75 less than he quoted. Highly recommend this shop's small town service & hospitality. Thanks, guys!!
