Edin literally saved my life! I have been using a portable car battery jumper for a couple of weeks (maybe more). Car wouldn’t start at the beginning of that sub zero freeze we had but when the weather warmed up, it was fine. Until it wasn’t! Once i had enough money to get a new battery i stopped in here. Amar was very nice and understanding and tried to help me with the battery i chose which they didn’t have in stock. So he was making calls to another location that had one remaining battery in stock to let them know I’m coming. That’s when Edin suggested another, better battery for just $20 more. I learned (and so did Amar) that my car, a 2018 nissan rogue has a crazy amount of electric components and systems and the battery I chose due to cost would only last me a year before I would have to replace it again! I am so glad I got the advice and purchased a better product for just a little bit more money along with a whole lot of assurance and confidence! Edin removed the old battery and put the new one in, offered to check to alternator too. He answered every question I had about stuff I was worried about like my serpentine belt nearing its demise but after checking that too, he said the belt is perfectly fine but sometimes gets dry and squeaks. He educated me about a solution and now I have one thing less to worry about! He even noticed that the rubber part of the motor mount is somewhat worn and suggested that within the year, I get that serviced and offered resources for the repair and maintenance. Because this is my first time going to a shop to do anything regarding my car, I am less than educated on every single requirement, even a simple oil change. He gave me information on the proper products to request at my next oil change and assured me that the car is safe and will last for a long time as long as I follow the maintenance requirements. I really appreciate his advice and kindness and non judgment of my ignorance. Thank you Edin! You are an incredible manager and team leader and I hope Auto Zone knows what an asset you are to the corporation and to the community!!
Edin is the best! He helped me change my plates when I was stuck with a weird screw the previous owner had installed that I couldn’t get off myself. He found a tool, got the old ones off, and put the new plates on for me. He even did it in the dark while I held a flashlight. Super helpful, super nice. Definitely recommend. :)
Edin is the best! He always has a solution and is looking to make your vehicle last. He turns car troubles into fun, entertaining and educational experiences. He knows what's up.
I have had the pleasure of going to this location and getting help from Edin twice in the last week (once for my car and once for a friend). To say the experience was amazing is an understatement. Edin kept it real with us both times, made sure we knew we weren’t getting ripped off, and made light of both of our less and fortunate car situations by being funny, charismatic, and showing empathy. Not only that, but he taught us both about our cars that we frankly knew nothing about. I cannot recommend his services more. Thank you to Edin for everything he’s done for us in just 2 visits, INCLUDING changing our battery in the freezing cold while it was dark and checking our alternator just to be sure. We appreciate it more than you’ll ever know!!
The website says they have things when you get there they do not have it. never even heard of what you're there for and it shows it on the website as being there useless place very poor help
If you are coming to this location, find Edin! He was very knowledgeable and beyond willing to help. He figured out immediately what was wrong with my car, quickly and with a smile. Walked me through which oil to get and showed a girl with no car knowledge how to do it myself! Such a personable, well rounded guy. I would give him 100 stars if I could!
The workers are usually pretty clueless about vehicles here, and they’re usually out of stock on a lot of things compared to other stores. Most-recently the woman working didn’t know how to even redeem my AutoZone points (I’m there a lot, and have three cars) and just today I brought in some oil that I was PAYING TO DISPOSE OF and I got chastised by the employee for not bringing it in a sealed gallon container. Between this store not having a clue about vehicles and now getting reprimanded for HOW I brought used oil in, I think I’ll just go right next door and use O’Reilley’s. More-knowledgeable, more-friendly, more stock, and they will dispose of my oil however I bring it in.
Edin was a huge help, he went out of his way to break things down, and help me with my check engine light to guide me to a good shop to be able to help me at a good price had great customer service definitely recommend. 🙂
I highly recommend this AutoZone location. I had a dead battery that needed to be replaced. I left the store with a new battery in my vehicle after less than 10 minutes.
Edin D greeted me as soon as I walked inside the store. He was super helpful! Edin was super knowledgeable about the issue my car had. He answered all of my questions without hesitation, he was friendly, and his service was quick. The store was clean and easy to navigate. I'll be back for any of my other vehicle-related purchases.
Came here because my check engine light went on. The guy working - I didn’t catch his name - came out and checked the code and printed out a report on what it needed. He was personable and didn’t hassle me at all for going out and checking. Definite 5 star experience.
This morning(7:35), I went here to get my wipers replaced. They assisted me very quickly. By far, the fastest AutoZone I’ve ever seen! I’d also like to thank the young employee who replaced my wiper blades ; she was very kind.
I went to the autozone in affton 9401 gravois for a battery replacement and nermin the store manager helped me find a battery for my car and also offered to install it for me free of charge i thought that was amazing and when he was installing the battery he noticed my wiper blades the rubber started peiling of so he mentioned it to me i bought new wiper blades and he installed them for me as well. I just thought that was a great customer service i will be coming back to this autozone only and i highly recommend it to everyone i know. Thank u nermin great service.
I had a dead battery today. I called AAA (that I pay for yearly) to help. When AAA came they informed me it was the battery, but they just put their last battery in the call before. I called AutoZone to make sure they had the battery I needed in stock. They were very helpful. When I arrived, Chris offered to help me. He gave me options and I never felt pressured to buy anything. Chris asked me if I would like it installed. He put the battery in my car and was so kind and helpful. He truly was a huge help for me!
This guy is not polite, he don’t care for customer and he’s like not listening to you what you’re saying. And unprofessional. He’s like walking away from you, to other Customer.
The recent Sub-Zero temperatures took out my windshield wipers so I stopped in to get a replacement pair. They were super helpful in finding the right size and even put them on for me! I asked him about another part for my vehicle and they didn't have it in stock but said they would get it in for me and told me when it would arrive. The store was clean and organized. There is a manual single width door for entry and a tile surface inside that is all on one level. I've used this store before and always had a good experience. Very nice employees here.
Jerome and Claude were soooo helpful. The air filter on my car is crazy difficult to get to but they didn’t give up and through blood, sweat, and tears they got me squared away with a smile and a positive attitude! I cannot recommend this location enough.
I love Auto Zone. I'm a senior citizen and the service I get from the awesome staff at the Affton location is phenomenal! I try to take care of things myself but sometimes need a little help and they are always very helpful and friendly as can be with great attitudes. This morning I went up and bought a steering wheel cover and sat in the parking lot desperately trying to get the cover on myself and struggled and having not enough strength in my arms I had to go in and ask for help and the gentleman that works there gladly came out and had that cover on in no time at all. He was very professional and friendly and was a joy to be around. I wish I had gotten his name ! Thank you guys ,you are the best!

We were having unexpected battery issues and had no idea what was going on. Edin checked the battery and all was good. Then, he went the extra mile and tested it while the car was running and found that there is some kind of drawl on the battery that should not be happening. He directed us to a helpful shop to assess the problem. Thanks Edin!!
I came in to get a new battery. At the Affton location, Edin was very helpful and even installed the battery for me rapidly and efficiently right in the parking lot. He had me start the engine a couple times to ensure everything was good to go. Would recommend this location for customer service.
