Had to drive someone here because their car was towed and it was an overall terrible experience. They had only had it for about half an hour when we got there and it was $450 to get it back ($400 for the tow and $50 for the one day “storage fee”). We also had to wait about 25 minutes for someone to get back to the business to talk to us, so at that point we had been waiting for almost as long as the car had even been on the lot. The owner of the car had his ssn and birth certificate in the car and his ID on him to match it up but they wouldn’t let him take it without the title, so we had to leave and come back and wait again for an employee to come back. Overall we spent around 2.5-3 hours trying to get back a towed car that had only been towed about half an hour before we got there (and we aren’t even sure it was legally towed because it had only been about 12 hours and the police weren’t notified before it was moved). They also only accepted cash, so good luck if you don’t have easy access to $450 in cash (+ $50 for every extra day that it takes you to get that). If I could give it 0 stars I would.
I recently got in a bad situation with my Boat and ended up finding out that All‘s towing had told it to storage lot and once we found it, they contacted us and they top-notch people. They helped us every way they could save this money got her boat back. I can’t say enough about them their top-notch the price was so reasonable ever need a tow. I will call nobody but them they are good people honest people.
After a couple days of craziness for an unfortunate accident and having to deal with a tow service that needs to work on their communication and customer service skills, I really was in need of some good, trustworthy assistance. A few minutes on the phone with Kurt, I knew I called the right company. Kurt was professional and detailed while arranging for my transport. He sent his guy, Dave. Making his first day back into towing services after medical disabilities, Dave did a fantastic job at making sure my towing needs were satisfied. 5+ stars to these guys for enduring through all kinds of situations and Mother Nature's elements to ensure the customer the best experience in often a not so best situation. Thank you!
Augie came out late in the day and changed a tire on my work van. He was very polite, and got the tire changed very quickly. I will be calling again if I need roadside assistance.
Kurt was fantastic to work with! Amazing service. Fast and responsive, considering the weather. He had our van out of the ditch and back to us with about 2 hours. Highly recommend Augie's towing.
I’ve used Augie for the past 16+ years several thousand times. I pick up the phone, run by what we need and it gets done. My wife listened to a phone call with Kurt on a recent Saturday night and complimented on how nice and professional he was without me thinking anything of it because it is the norm. Dylan was the guy to remember! He was prompt, courteous, & knowledgeable. I really appreciated his friendly demeanor in a rather stressful situation. He made things lighthearted while doing a fantastic job. He gave me more information than I would have expected from a tow truck driver and I will forever be grateful. Super punctual, got there before i even did. The guy, pretty sure his name was Dillon, who towed my car, was soo nice and helpful! Definitely would recommend. Great experience
After waiting for hours on roadside assistance through insurance I decided to call around myself. Called Augies and spoke with Kurt for 3 mins. He gave me a good rate and said he had a guy that had another job near the same area. In less than 20mins of the phone call their driver Brandon had beat me to my car after I went to get the payment. Great rate fast response and I will use them whenever I need to. Appreciate the good business after being stranded for nearly 4hours.
After telling the driver where to take the van for repairs he took it to the wrong shop and put the keys in the night drop. Upon finding this out I had to rent a car and take the spare key to the correct shop and have the van towed there. Brian from Augie's then promised me adamantly that he would personally retrieve the wrongly placed key first thing in the morning and take it to the correct shop. That didn't happen so after my vehicle was repaired I had to track down and retrieve the misplaced key, making an already bad experience even worse. Nothing about the entire experience was good.
Yourr employee Kurt was very understanding knowledgeable and helpful when it came to me having issues getting my car out. I am very grateful. Because of him Being so nice to me I will refer your company every chance I get
This company has no problem with their drivers taking photos of vehicles they tow and sharing them. The tow driver that picked up my jeep that caught on fire noticed the work shirt that i was wearing. The tow truck drivers girlfriend USED to work where I work. He sent the photos of my burnt up jeep to her. Then his girlfriend sends the photos to my current coworkers who proceeded to share around my work. THAT WAS PRIVATE BUSINESS. yes it happened in public, however not in a place that any of my coworkers would have seen it. IF I WANTED MY COWORKERS TO KNOW MY PERSONAL BUSINESS I WOULD TELL THEM. THEY SHOULD NOT FIND OUT ABOUT MY JEEP FROM THE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS GIRLFRIEND! I called and talked to the manager (Curtis i think) and he has no problem with this behavior. Defended the drivers right to take and share photos of vehicles they pick up. Robin C
Augie’s Towing & Transport is the absolute best! Our work truck broke down today just as we were getting off the highway in O’Fallon, and we were lucky enough to have them drive by a few minutes later. The gentleman driving helped us get it started again, continued following us down the road until we made it to our destination, then came back a few hours later after we had trouble starting it again and got it loaded and to the repair shop for us. Five stars, all day every day! Nobody wants their vehicle to break down, but they made the situation the best it could possibly be with their kindness and amazing work ethic. This company is truly wonderful. Thank you so, so much Augie’s!
My insurance company called them to tow my vehicle they told them 30 minutes and they never showed up and quit answering the phone. I at first gave a 1 star review but upon talking to the owner I have learned that my insurance/roadside assistance. Never called them. I had a great talk with the owner and he assured me that if he would of got the call he would of towed my car.
I had Augie's tow a car to me from a location about an hour away. Each time I spoke with them, they were courteous and helpful. Sean was the one who actually towed the car. He was prompt & polite with good communication. These are some good guys and I'll be using them for my towing needs from now on.
Towed my car at 11p on a Friday and was so quick and friendly! Made sure to be on the quiet side because it was late and didn’t want to disturb the neighborhood. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely use you again.
My mobile grooming bus caught on fire when I had arrived at the location of my first customer of the day. Not a way to start a morning. I called Augie's towing and recovery and my bus was picked up and delivered safely to the mechanic. Being the beginning of the weekend I was worried it would not be looked at until Monday but since they were able to get it to the mechanic promptly, I was back to work the very next day! Thanks Augie! I am happy to have you to call on when I need help.
Our car battery died this morning and I was left stranded, and after calling a couple of tow companies including one that I knew personally, I was told by both that it would be almost two hours for a battery jump. After talking to Kurt, who I might add was asleep when I called him, told me it would be 10 to 15 minutes, and he was fast and was able to charge the battery and helped me get back home! I can't thank Kurt enough and will definitely be calling him next time I need some help.
I have used them several times over the years, both personally and professionally, and they ways take care of me. They are a licensed tow company (which some others in the area are not). All their employees are fingerprinted and background checks so you know you are safe. I highly recommend them.
I got stuck on the side of the highway after a long shift and Sean came to my rescue very quickly and made everything so easy for me. Later on I got a call that the company wouldn’t be charging me because Sean had noticed I was wearing scrubs, and had offered to cover the cost. Thank you so much, this was an amazing reminder that there are good people looking out for strangers!
He was able to work around my power door locks not working and my driver door locking mechanism being stuck locked and got me in my car quickly. Reasonable price and very friendly, will definitely be the first call I make if stuck in an emergency situation again.
The power locks were not functioning in my vehicle via key unlocking or buttons on the inside. After calling, he was right on time and got into the vehicle quickly. Perfect people skills, very reasonable price, very well mannered, and not awkward in the slightest. I'll be sure to tell my friends in the area!
Almost ran me over at the intersections stoplight by Auto Zone / a Entrance to Lindenwood University the commercial vehicle was roughly five feet from me if not closer when I had the right of way/the right of way sign was lit I was about half way through when he decided to turn where I was walking.
Thankfully I was able to back out of the way in time, he was going somewhat fast but showed no indication of care for safety of pedestrian(s) / was driving reckless in my opinion.
My friend Lindsay and I can't thank Kurt enough. He was absolutely amazing. His courage and service got the job done fast and fairly priced and all with a smile on his face! Thank you SO MUCH Kurt!!!!
My van died on the road. Called them and Kurt was just dropping off another car. He had me picked up and towed to the service shop 9 miles away in less than an hour. Good service and very professional. Cost was reasonable. I would recommend you give them a call for if you are in need.
Had a flat tire (i was unable to change)on the 370 to 270 N / MO Bottom Rd interchange not a great place to have a flat tire. Awesome service help break tire free and changed it for us. Great service will be recommending to all my friend.
I needed to be towed out of a ditch on 12/16/16, the night of the ice storm. I knew I wouldn't get towed that night but he took my name and number, which some other company wouldn't do. He called in the morning, came and towed me out. Was very nice and professional. Told him I hoped this would be our last meeting, but I have their number in my phone and my husband told him we have put them on speed dial. Thank You Augie's.
