I am beyond impressed with this place. I called about 2 wheels I needed. I didn’t pay for them on the phone, but we agreed on a price and I said I’d be in town in 2 days so I’d pick them up then. When I got there 2 days later, I learned that someone called to buy the same wheels about an hour after I called. Good to their word, the guys at Goodfellow Motors didn’t sell the wheels and continued to hold them for me. I love it when people still have this level of integrity. The world could use more businesses like Goodfellow Motors.
This is one of the most amazing salvage yards I've ever been to... The Gentleman was super friendly... I called about a taillight assembly and asked the price, said I'm on my way, when I arrived it my light was ready to go ....

For a place called good fellows they are some of the worst fellows I’ve met. Guy at the counter had more attitude than your wife after you tell her you are going fishing for the 5th day in a row. I wouldn’t come here unless you are looking for someone to talk to you like you don’t know anything.
I’ve used these guys twice now for 2 different parts. Both times were very fast and very affordable. The folks that work there are very customer focused. I’ll continue to utilize their services and highly recommend them as a very affordable alternative parts supplier.
Dude wanted to charge me 25 dollars for a piece of plastic! Just a quarter sized piece that goes over the seatbelt retainer nut on the pillar.
Went to another "local" yard and the guy gave the piece to me.
He was blown away when I told him how much this place wanted, and we agreed they were trying to rip me off.
My husband and I own an automotive shop in Plainfield Illinois.... Struggling to find a computer for a vehicle... We reached out to Goodfellow Auto Salvage located all the way in O'Fallon Missouri to see if they would be willing to ship us the part we needed. After a brief hold they decided they were willing to help us out. I called back the following day just to get the tracking number which they had quickly available.
As a small business owner just trying to make it in the world we keep coming across a lot of horrible companies to deal with.....I'm making an effort to talk about all the great companies we work with. It was easy to work with them, for the cost of the part they didn't even charge us for shipping which I was 100% expecting to pay, they were kind on the phone since I'm not the mechanic (and I recently just started working at the shop with my husband, I personally am inexperienced and a lot of part stores or junk yards... They are just plain rude).
The computer arrived over the weekend (took two days to arrive, and they shipped same day for us). Thank you for making us a priority. I recommend using these guys !!! Thank you again for your great customer service!
Went looking for a hard to find part for my Cadillac, I was looking for the sunroof lift attachment. Mike helped me not only find the part I was looking for, but had it out for me to take home within 15 minutes! The price was VERY reasonable!
Should not get a star at all. The guy sets behind counter said he doesn’t have valve cover bolts for 2001 Ford Ranger. I told him that a it will come off a 2001-2008 Ford Ranger. He said wait a minute. Went to the yard. Was back in about 3 minutes with what I needed. Then he said the minimum was $25. I told him I only needed 4. He said it will still be $25. I offered $2.50 a piece he sId no. This Veteran is not happy!!! I did not buy the parts. What a rip off and joke of a place!!!
Stopped in to get a blend door actuator for a vehicle...on a Saturday. Nice that they offer Saturday hours. Price was extremely fair and the guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. He thanked me for coming in and invited me back. What do people really expect to get from salvage vehicles? It's a gamble, used parts.....not guaranteed. Know what you really need and that you got the right part before giving bad reviews on businesses! In my case, my gamble paid off and the actuator works great..... $$ saved. Thanks Goodfellow, I'll be back!

This place is horrible they have everything you could ask for according to their website but when you walk in you get some ignorant prick sitting behind the counter who says nothing but no to every part you saw they had online and will not even look they really care about their customers here!
Bought an engine from them and was assured it was the right one,the garage installing the engine was backed up so it took a bit for them to get it in.Upon installation we found the engine was incorrect and had to have over 400 dollars and a trip to the dealership for ecm reprogramming to make it even work.All they did was delay and do anything they could to get out of getting me the right engine or refunding my money.
Had heard they were shady,and now i know for sure.
Do anything you can to avoid these guys.
