We were traveling from South Dakota to Florida and hit a mystery object on the interstate and caused a flat instantly. The guy that owned the place (can’t remember his name) got us in very quickly, and although he couldn’t fix our tire, He was able to provide a cost effective used option and get us back on the road very fast.
This incident could have very easily been a half a day of lost time, however we were fixed and back on the road within an hour. Thank you for all your help, we truly appreciate you!
We hit something off highway 29 and limped into this shop with a flat tire. They didn’t know us from Adam, but treated us very kindly and fairly and got us back on the highway. They have our gratitude!
While passing through Mound City, Missouri for work, I had a flat tire and ended up at Mc Auto & Truck Repair Towing & Recovery LLC after being towed in. Even though I didn’t have an appointment and wasn’t local, they got me in right away and treated me like a regular customer.
They were incredibly friendly, professional, and most importantly — very, very fair with their pricing. They took the time to assess the damage and let me know the tire couldn’t be repaired. While they didn’t have my tire size in stock, they were honest, helpful, and pointed me in the right direction.
It’s rare to find a shop that’s this accommodating, especially when you’re just passing through. I really appreciated their quick service and integrity. Highly recommend them if you’re in the area and need help — great people doing great work!
Very good pricing, it is very transparent exceptyou have to have an email. I don't like that my quote has to come through email. I would like to get a quote directly on the website.
Best of the best. They have helped us out of more jams than I can count. Towing us from break downs and accidents. Have kept our vehicles running so we could keep our jobs. Reasonable pricing, and are absolutely genious at figuring out issues that other shops cannot, that alone has saved us money. Honest and trustworthy...to us that is priceless. We always ask them for a second opinion, and they have never steered us wrong. This is the only tow company, and mechanics we trust ?. Highly recommend...but they are busy...a testament to their expertise...worth the wait...

I absolutely recommend calling these guys if your in the area and need any kind of services, even a tow sometimes which is what they helped me with. We busted a rim, needed towed at 12 at night with a 3 year old. The other tow company double d in that area left us out there, and MC came through quickly, effeciently, and reasonable prices for sure! Call them!

Honest, fair, and kind. Last winter I spun off the road in icy conditions. At first, a police officer persuaded me to call Double D Towing (they were friends), and that guy ended up damaging my car and charged me hundreds of dollars just to pull me back onto the highway, where my car was undriveable. I then called MC Auto. MC Auto towed me to the shop, stayed working late for me on a Friday night, took photos of the damage for me, and repaired the damage done by Double D all for less than Double D charged for the botched tow. I waited at a McDonalds during the repairs and from talking with the locals there it sounds like this is a pattern. If you ever need vehicle help in the Mound City area, MC Auto is the one to trust.
I was left stranded on I 29 thanks to a sharp object I ran over. I called my roadside assistance and they got in touch with this fine establishment. Curt showed up, put on my donut, and examined the punctured tire. He said he could take it to his shop and fix it, so I followed him about 25 miles to his shop, and within 20 minutes he fixed the tire, put the donut back in the trunk and I was on my way home. Did I mention this was at 9:00 on a Sunday night? Outstanding service and unbelievably kind and caring demeanor.

Saturday morning, check engine light came on headed south from Omaha. Called and they got us in immediately, assisted with the problem, gave us great advice and got us back on our way in under 30 minutes. They were friendly and very reasonable!
We was on our way from Omaha Nebraska to Kansas City on A Family trip when our front tire blew out. I googled tow companies and got a number for someone further away, he gave me the number for DJ, when I called, he also had got A call from the state police to help with a wreck. It was 7:40pm when I first called him, we took our tire off while we waited for him, we had a spare tire but not on the rim he came to us within 30 mins grabbed the blown tire/rim and the new one, my fiance rode with him to the garage. DJ put the new tire on the rim, balanced it and brought them back. He was VERY fast, polite, and reasonable... If it wasnt for DJ i dont know what we would have done... From the time I called to the time we was back on the road was A little over an hour. THANK YOU for being so Fast and caring!!!
Husband's water pump went out on way back to Omaha from KC---Thank God he was right outside of Mount City! The guys at Mc Auto had him fixed up and ready to roll in about an hour and charged him about half what he wld have paid in Omaha or Kc. The honesty and friendliness was amazing. If we ever need major work done on any of our cars, we will be traveling back to Mound City to get it done.
I take all my cars there. I drive from St. Joseph just to have my cars repaired there. Will help you out and go the extra mile to see what is wrong with the car. I won't go anywhere else, as I keep referring my friends there.
