I can't remember his name but he was 45 mins earlier then he quoted n was significantly cheaper then the other companies I called he stay in touched w me during my wait time and gave me eta updates he was awesome if u see this thank you so much
Let me just start by saying the receptionist is amazing, I was in a tight spot and my phone had low battery, the lady let me text her locations to get something setup, and gave me a heads up on eta via text. My truck was stolen, and it got dropped by some people in an inconvenient spot to be towed from. Corey, popped the curb and reversed 400 meters into a tight spot in the forest through a walking trail. Pulled me out no problem and got it to the shop. 10/10 thank you Corey and Hook and Book
Hook and Book saved us yesterday! I would recommend them to anyone! My family was in a pretty bad accident on the interstate while out of town and they helped us get the car towed and helped us get to our Airbnb. We had our son with us and 3 animals! The owner and his wife are amazing people. I also want to give credit to the tow truck driver himself. He was amazing and done everything in his power to make sure we were okay before police and EMTs arrived! I would give 10 stars if I could! Amazing people! I definitely recommend! Thank you all again for the wonderful service!

Had my belt tensioner lock up and popped my belt on the way home from work. Called all around midway to no avail, but Hook n Book came to save the day all the way out from Darien! Unprofessional service. Was unable to provide the location for a car they towed at the time they said, once located they used disrespectful language with a customer who had no choice but to book them through insurance. No one likes dealing with unhappy, stressed customers- but the way you speak with them and make them feel reflects on your business. Be kind...
I will never use this company again!!! I paid close to $300 to get my car towed somewhere completely random and just left in a different city overnight! When i called crying asking where my vehicle is the owner used foul disrespectful language and told me it wasn’t his problem and he wasn’t going to help me find my vehicle they lost!! Nor give me a refund for still having to drive my car once i found it to the right location and still take the chance of damaging my vehicle.
The owner was awesome. Very helpful. Broke down on way to make me a new key. But still contacted his friend in the industry to make sure i got my key made. Personable and did not overcharge me when he quoted me!!
This was the worst tow company I’ve ever dealt with. First off, the driver brought my car to the wrong address. Instead of my car going to the repair shop it got sent to a dealership. On top of that, the driver turned the hazard lights on and kept them on overnight. Another tow driver got to it the next morning with a dead battery. As if that wasn’t enough both the female and male I spoke to over the phone were super rude. No empathy or concern whatsoever. They were complete rude and 100% unhelpful. They actually tried to act as if it was my fault!!! They tried telling me the driver told them I said it was ok to bring my car to the dealership lol. NO! Lies. Then they tried saying the driver told them that my lights were already on lol. NO, why would my lights be on during day light hours? These people did everything EXCEPT do their job and admit they were in the wrong. Unbelievable. You brought my car to the wrong place and killed my battery!! Then they complained they only got 40 dollars from my insurance company for the tow. You shouldn’t have gotten paid anything since you didn’t do your job!!! Completely rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t ever recommend this horrible business to anyone after my experience
I had the best experience when my vehicle had to be towed due to a brake issue. I was incredibly stressed and worried about the situation. The dispatcher was extremely helpful, the driver was very friendly and he picked up and towed my vehicle to the repair shop all with an hour! Overall they provided excellent customer service and helped put me at ease!
Use them! You won’t regret it!
Danny met me at the tow lot to make a new key for a car of mine that had been stolen and was just recovered. He was fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. A week later the key he made wouldn't start my car. Danny came by my house and messed with it until he figured out the problem, fixed the problem, went above and beyond what he needed to do and didn't charge me anything extra. Him and his wife were very helpful and quick. Will definitely use them again and will recommend them to everyone.
Incredible how many other companies I ended up calling before stumbling upon Hook N Book. The dispatcher was professional, and the driver arrived ahead of the quoted ETA. He was friendly and quick. Pricing was fair. Hope not to have to use them again any time soon, but highly recommend!
Had booked a tow to move a non running car a day before I needed it towed. Their Customer service got their job done just fine. Issues arise. I had a time and location set to move the car, nobody showed up, waited 30 minutes, I didn’t receive a call from them so I went ahead and called them. I got ahold of a driver and asked where the tow truck was. He said a driver had called in sick so they just brushed off my appointment. I asked if they could get a tow truck to me now, another 30-45 minute wait so I asked why no one else picked up the job or why I didn’t receive a call. at that point an attitude came out of the driver. I told him i’d still use them if they took a percent off the price and it ended up with him telling me off and to find another tow company... So I did just that.
I figured if I called a company named Hook n’ BOOK I would be able to easily BOOK a tow truck ahead of time.
Very reasonably priced. Owner was very helpful and nice. And definitely had a fast response time, probably the fastest I've experienced ever. Being a business owner myself, I appreciated the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness I experienced.
Arrived early & actually before me at tow location. Very genuine with great work ethic. Speedy process—it was nice to have the whole process done in less than an hr. He even aired up my tires and recommend someone to look at my vehicle. I will be using their service again and definitely recommending them to anyone in need. Thank you!

I needed to get this POS car towed. I called several tow companies to get a decent price. I came across Hook n Book, I was very pleased with the response and how fast they got here. I only paid $75. 00. The others wanted to charge $120.00 or more. The guy was very nice. This was a very good experience. He thanked us for our business. Thank you guys.
Wow! These guys are awesome and the price you can't beat. I had to have my mother in laws car towed to my house. It broke down and she was able to get it to a parking lot with the help of my husband. She however sent me to wrong location after I had already told them the address. I had to switch locations on them at the last minute and still they made it there with no problems and were very nice even after the incovience. They were very careful with the car even though it is a POS but I really respected that. I would trust them with any of my vehicles seeing how they conduct business would recommend them to any of my family or friends.
So today on a hot Sunday morning, I had a mid-size SUV overheat & stop on a small exit off I70. I called & "Danny" answers. He gave me pricing over the phone. He said an hour was what he thought the timeframe would be. He was true to his word. I received a call early within that "hour" from the driver "James". He let me know he was 10 min away. They arrived early. James tells me what to do with my car in neutral so as to position it for his rig to reach it. He gets it to my house and backs it up in the driveway without damages. It was fast & simple. I will use them again if the need arrives.
Excellent job to James for being Professional and on time and thanking us for the business!!! Keep up the great work!!! On a side note Danny provided a suggestion to make our vehicle driveable therefore not needing a tow. However, we decided to just have it towed as that is what worked best for us.
Have heard about them from the Independence Community Awareness group. Called last night and spoke with Danny and asked for a tow when my van decided it didn't want to start :( . Faster than insurance would have came. Tow guys name I believe was James. He was super nice. Definitely recommend.
I had to get a tow from work yesterday, and Danny was great! we had to push my car to the entrance of the garage and he did it with the up most care and didn't complain. He was very informative and actually diagnosed what was wrong with my car. He was correct, the service center where I took my car said the same thing he did. I would recommend this tow co!
When I worked with this company I had my work cut out for me. Great guy to work for. I would use him. He knows what he's doing and did a good job helping me transition from a flat bed to a wheel lift. Definitely give this guy a call for help.
I used them through our Roadside assistance and the tow guy didn't even have a four way to get the lug nuts off. I got one out of the other car. Then he was so busy trying to take other business calls he couldn't focus. He took our keys and lost them from the time he towed our car from point a to point b. The keys had keys to our home and other vehicle and they lied and said it didn't. They claim they only had one key and lost it. To me they are liars and thieves. I don't feel safe and feel like he could come back and steal the cars and enter our home and we have to foot the bill because of their negligence to get new keys and the house relocked. Never use this unprofessional crook! I wish I could give them negative stars. I hope you read this and remember what goes around comes around and when you are out of business I hope you remember this.
Awesome, turned a horrible situation into a manageable one. My daughter broke down 45 min away, called and got someone immediately on the line with cost and time frame of their availability. They went out of their way to make sure my daughter was safe, got her car home at a reasonable price and then helped us tow a newly purchased vehicle for my other daughter. Great Company!! I recommend them to anyone who needs a fair tow.
Best possible experience I could ask for considering I was getting my car towed. Danny was super friendly, down to earth, and better than prompt. We were hooked up and on our way quickly with very little effort. I appreciate the experience for sure. I was towed by another company earlier this week and the experience was not even close to this one. I highly recommend Danny and his company for your towing needs! Thanks!!
