Very rude and unhelpful I walked in there just to get a mirror and while I was waiting to check and see if they had the vehicle I was looking for, I went and looked at the tires that are on the racks and the mexican lady up front told me I had go sign in. Just to look at some tires I wasn’t going in the yard yet because I wanted to see if they had the vehicle im looking for. so whatever I let it go and then when I do go and sign the white guy sales person basically let someone cut me in line when I was clearly there first. So I just left and took my business elsewhere the manager or something needs to check his employees because those people have some serious attitude problems. I like pick n pull but this is the only location I despise because everyone in there hates they’re job im done with this location you dont see stuff like that at All N 1
Horrible attitude people super rude and against all customer rules and laws in this place! They realy need to replace crew in this place! Some horribly wrong people work here. If pich n pull keep this people like that it will get less than 1 star for this place pretty soon! GoodlOck Pick N Pull !!
Been to all of the Kansas City locations and they’re all about the same set up kind of like a slumlord‘s pretty sad don’t understand how you’re charging brand new prices for parts that are on wrecked vehicles that we have to go out and pull ourselves you’re charging 24.99 for a side mirror assembly when I can order a brand new one for under 20 bucks sure you could say shipping and handling is gonna make it more, but at least I’ll have the guarantee that it’s brand new and I don’t have to go out and pull it myself make junk car parts affordable again. Y’all are a joke. Thank God for a wonderful place called rock auto I make sure to tell everyone to avoid any Pick N Pull location
So called today just to get a price on a radiator. Put me on hold for well past 5 minutes. I understand that you're busy and ALL but if you can't answer your phone for maybe a quick question I can take my business elsewhere. Wish I could make it a minus -1. Talked to the staff; they arent very kind or helpful at answering my questions or explaining my questions. They get irritated easy when you ask them a question, when you're just trying to understand a price. I pulled a damaged part off which was less damaged then my original part on my car, since it had a huge dent and the dented spot was rusting; i asked for a discount because it wasn't a clean part. They said maybe 10% and brought the manager or whatever he was out; and he said "So what the part is damaged, its a salvage yard we sell junk, I know she offered a discount but you are not getting a discount on anything." Then I explained in the photos online the part had looked nice and clean but when I came to get it it was dented ( heavy damage dents like someone hit it ) and he refused to lower the price even though, it wasn't what the online pictures had shown. He wasn't nice, he had raised his voice towards me, and was very condescending. I get its a salvage yard but if the pictures online of it show a clean undamaged part, and I come to get it and its heavily damaged i dont want to pay 100$ for it. So I left and found none of the staff to be helpful; only rude- condescending and mean. Laughing at me and treating me like I was stupid, because I assume i am young and wear clean clothing. I dont typically go to a pick and pull. I didn't feel like I was treated very fair.
We went for a power steering pulley was actually laying on the ground where we took it off on a previous trip there so we didn't have to pull it off and we got two injectors of a different motor it's pretty convenient really although $15 a piece for old injectors sounds pricey but if you go to buy the new ones it's not
Supposedly the manager lady who wears an orange shirt is a liar and thief. The guy who signed me in went through my bag and seen the 2 older coil packs in my bag but only asked if I had torque or grinder which I didn’t so I went in to look for a throttle position sensor and 2 tail gate latches and went to check out and even went out the way to put the parts that came in my bag on top which was burnt up coil pack and a older O2 sensor from when I literally replaced last week but the manager proceeds to treat me like I’m a thief that’s trying to steal parts that already belong to me and then told me I would have to pay full price for what they list the part for which was over like 40 bucks on something that’s already MINE! Called KCMO police and they agreed with me but couldn’t do anything about it because of their fine print they make you sign WITHOUT READING because the line is so long. That woman is a joke and should be fired. Over half the signs are in Spanish and nothing was ever said to me other than not to have grinder or torch. So she basically stole my parts that I brought with me to compare to make sure I had the right one. This woman was disrespectful and wanted to treat me like I’m some criminal. If I was spainish I promise she wouldn’t of gave me the same hassle. She stole my parts and plus made me feel like a thief infront of whole store. EVEN AFTER THEY CHECKED MY BAG BEFORE GOING IN!!
Just not a big fan of the staff. When I checked in the guy was unhelpful and a bit rude. When I exited I saw the staff charging a poor man extra for a u nut on some leaf springs that was broken only because he couldn’t get it off. It seems like they always will accuse you of stealing and keep raising the price on you and your only choice is to pay since you already invested time in pulling the part. I may come back if I need a part from a car but for the most part I will avoid this yard.
Terrible customer service I called them and didn’t get two words out and they hung up on me so honestly I would avoid this place due to that plus the people that are at the front desk are rude and don’t even know half the stuff they talk about to customers.
This place has went so far downhill, they need to just close their doors! The manager is always accusing people of stealing and when she's wrong she doesn't even apologize to the customers. And what up with the price increase? Just spend a couple more dollars and buy your part brand new and you don't even have to remove it...just close your doors !
The employees at front desk are very slow during entry. They also do not know some of the parts. So they just pick in the computer. They charged us for a Quarter Glass when it should’ve been a vent glass. Small window came off of a four-door sedanToyota Corolla. If you ask them questions about the parts, they get rude. The parts are more expensive than other yards and they also charge very high environmental fee. This place is definitely not what it used to be.
Entrance fees at a salvage yard is strange at best, but charging an entrance fee and then finding out the one car you went to see doesn't exist is really poor! They even had a strait face when they said well "we told you it **might** be there"! I think they knew the car was gone. No refunds for their supposed mistake.
It's bullshit to charge environmental fee for something I'm removing from their environment all it was was a metal piece of the bumper for Christ's sakes. No fluids of any kind involved. Environmental fees are for something that's going to damage the environment. Not just a fee you tack on for more money
Terrible service, had tool bag full of tools stolen, while another gentleman had his stolen also. Was denied access to the surveillance videos, bunch of thieves there, Midway is a way better place, never to return to that unorganized mess.
It's a rip off we pulled some old consoles out of a van they were wood with a cup holder and ash trays attached . They told us one price then last minute they wanted to change it and charge individually for every single thing the price they told us was about $30 then they changed it to about $65 how I feel about it should have been the first price they told us so probably won't be going there much I'll find a different one and go there
To the young lady who just answered the phone needs customer service and phone etiquette training. There was no need to be loud and rude. I'm not happy I had to call and get you either I mean... that's how you talk to customer that are looking for help. Maybe that's not the job for you and it's okay.
I bought an anti-lock brake pump and was told if the part did not work that I had 30 days to return it for a refund. Well, I had to return the part. I was then told that there are no refunds and that I could only get an in-store credit. I was never told at the time of purchase that I would receive in-store credit only if the part was returned.
I went to Midway Auto Parts and Economy Auto Salvage and found the same part, already pulled from the vehicle for 26% less than what I paid at Pick-n-Pull. So, if you want quality parts, already pulled from the vehicle for less money, go to Midway Auto Parts or Economy Auto Salvage. Last, I did not see any sign in their store stating "In-Store Credit Only" and if I would have noticed on my receipt immediately after the purchase, I still would have had to take an in-store credit...how unprofessional is that! I will never shop here again!
These guys are If not necessarily crooks they are to a certain point absolute scam artists. They tried to charge me $25 a piece for fuse box covers after I'm already spending $40 a piece just for the fuse boxes no relays just the box no cover. And then they proceeded to try and charge me almost $60 for four trunk struts that I can order off Amazon for $10 a pair. Their staff is completely unknowledgeable about the products that they sell and everyone tends to be rather rude and unhelpful.
Sorry about only giving three stars, but I honestly prefer the Winner Road/24 Hwy location. I feel like it's a little bit bigger, and to me, the employees are a lot friendlier at the Winner Road location as well. That's the reason why I can't give you all five stars
My other half and I just wanted to look at the tires within the lobby. An employee started yelling at us, saying we needed to sign in on the tablets. Note that we didn't go into the yard at all. When we asked where they were, she just kept yelling at us. It was another customer that pointed us to them. After he helped she said "they see them" we did not. She was extremely rude. I get work can be stressful but her attitude was extremely unprofessional.
Very dark grungy and dirty entrance, confusing and unsanitary sign in process. Employees are short with you and not very helpful.
Yard is all rough gravel and very cluttered with old parts and trash all over the ground
Most of the inventory appears to be very old and well picked over cars or major collision damaged with very few usable parts to begin with.
Anything decent they put up for sale instead of putting it in the yard for parts, which is part of why their selection is so slim.
Will not waste my time again at this location.
Had a great experience walking around. We didn't find much for our Saab but came upon other stuff we were looking for. Plus to see the condition were truly a sight
Oh my God this is my first visit to pick n pull and surprised to see such a huge collection and I like the way they have kept cars in order... Yes you can find all your parts for cheaper.. I have checked every where else..
