We called Cummins and they wanted 2800 dollars just for an reman injection pump. For a 97 international semi. They priced it at 1100 dollars for a brand new one. Also they delivered it to me for free of charge. Highly recommend them to anyone
Ryan Johnson at the Kansas City location was absolutely the most amazing rep. He definitely went beyond the call when I called Vander Haggs. He treated me with the up most respect, finding a male that will treat a female in this business with respect and not talk to them as if they don't know anything at all is becoming less and less. Even after I spoke with Ryan, he proceeded to find a plan B option for my customer then sent me an email with plan B information. Definitely will be calling Ryan in the future for customer parts!!!! I called about a dog house or an engine cover was told they at least have 6 of them, would look and get me a good one,,that was 2 weeks ago,when I try to call them and leave a voice message no one calls back, this is my first experience with this company and it has not been good
I Had order quite a few things from this company all the parts was as expected, but I did have a couple of problems, but this is where they shined the customer service is impressive and I mean impressive they do exactly what they say and with a fast response time
Terrible customer service from Alex Harthoorn and Amanda Koele. I make an order on 9/22/25 and guess what i did not get any call back or any info about part that i order, is not available anymore they said after many calls that i tried and plus they made me wait on line and lying about Alex that he is on break, like he is going on lunch break 10am,11,1:30pm i mean…. What a childish behavior…
The part I needed was no longer available. I located it at Vander Haag's ! They saved the day. I was able to buy a used part, and it was a 1/3 of what I had to pay for one for the other side. Their prices are wonderful, and they have a great selection. Thank you, Vander Haag's!!
Great for parts but do not trust them with repairs! They replaced parts without authorization or any communication. Had a air compressor put in with warranty and had to bring it back and they replaced it but also touched and replace other parts of the engine, my truck ends up breaking down 2 weeks later and they did nothing to help or figure out what happened, had another mechanic look at it and confirmed air compressor was the cause! Never trusting them with any repairs to my box truck! Spent thousands with them but will never go back ever again!!
I had an insightful experience with Vanderhaags and through this experience I think we both learned alot in order to met my needs I had to go through both iowa and Kansas City locations. I will say this some of the sales reps can get quite impatient, get annoyed, and abort the mission. But upper management has always been on point and go above and beyond to meet the customers need. And their parts are quality parts and they stand behind their product. Managers like Rachael at the Iowa location and the part quality is the only reason I give them five stars. Because some of the sales reps I feel really need to learn people skills when dealing with a customer and meeting the needs of the customer. But for the management team……… 5 star service all the way!!!!salute

This company exceeded my expectations. I had been searching everywhere for a replacement window for my International box truck with no luck—until I found them. Recently ordered a sprayer hauling trailer and was well pleased with the entire process. Ben was knowledgeable on the trailer and kept me in the loop throughout. He also arranged to have it delivered closer for me to pick up and made sure I did get it. Customer service that makes you feel like more than just an order number is a major bonus these days. Definitely a good company to do business with.
I had a customers truck go down one afternoon called the local dealers the following morning looking for air compressor was told part was back ordered called Ryan johnson at the Kansas City store he had a reman unit in stock verified with engine serial number was able to have it next day aired to me i am in fl had it in my hands the following day at 11 truck was back on the road that afternoon it really saved the day fair price excellent service and core return was smooth as can be
This company sold us a "rebuilt" engine for a semi-truck. After it was installed we find out the crank shaft is bent. They didn't bother that defective part before selling it to us. By the time we got the engine installed it was past the 90 days guarantee and we can't return it. We're out thousands of dollars. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED.
They were very easy to work with. Called them up and talked about what I had as a trade in and what they had to sell. Came together on a price and purchased. When picking up the new trailer they were very helpful getting the new trailer connected to our truck. Great experience.
Saved the day! We had a side glass shattered on a 2024 International MV 607. Glass was on national back order with no ship date. Found what I needed at Vander Hagg’s for a great price. Ordered it and received it in 3 days. The care that was taking in packaging the glass was exceptional! Glass is installed and truck is back in service. 1st class company with 1st class service.
I am extremely disappointed with the service and product from this company. We purchased a transmission, which was built incorrectly and had to be removed and sent back. The company appears to be dragging its feet, showing no urgency in resolving the issue. This delay has left our truck and driver without work, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss. Additionally, their customer service is unimpressive and unresponsive. I would not recommend this company to anyone in need of reliable and efficient service.
So I dunno what's going on with this company but they are dropping the ball terribly...
I get billed 670 dollars for a part they claim they are ordering from California, apparently there's a complication with that being the wrong one and instead of calling me to notify me we wait all week for a shipping confirmation that doesn't come.
Call in to figure out the issue and come to find out there's supposed to be a part in Des Moines Iowa and they would call me back this was last friday 6/21.
So here we are today 6/24 I have to call in again to find out now they have changed the order again and it's 10-14 days again waiting to now have one built with no answer on what's going on for Ulysses to tell me it is what it is because he doesn't know whats going on and good luck on getting a manage to answer the phone.
This has become the most unprofessional supplier we have ever tried to work with, if you can find your parts somewhere else I highly recommend shopping online or finding a different provider as the customer service people literally don't care and have the demeanor of that as well.
Sad part is Ulysses and Daniel told me to write a bad Google review maybe a manager or the president would get ahold of me for a complaint because the managers probably wouldn't answer the call.
Great place to do business. Very helpful and patient with customers. Went out of there way to make sure I got everything I needed for my truck . Will be back again
Their customer service is great. I have ordered parts from them a few times and it has been a positive experience every time. We saved hundreds of dollars getting parts from Vander Haag"s as opposed to somewhere else. I recommend them.
