The mechanic was thorough and got the job done and deserves five stars! Unfortunately, the people running the customer service desk made me feel like they did not want to be there, which made me feel the same. Not a smile or friendly face to be found in the place. Their communication left a lot to be desired as well. This is the second time I've used them and it has been the same way, in and out. They just seem miserable. Hopefully they can figure that part out!

Took our truck in and got tires changed out and they put the wrong lugnuts back in the truck. Im suprised the tires didnt fall off going down the road. Dont take your stuff to these guys. They have no clue what they are doing

Call 12 places around Kansas City, and none of them had my tire's in stock. Called this place and they had half a dozen of them. Good price. Highly recommend.

Super disappointed and let down...... Long story short we purchased this and many sets of tires here for our son, trying to support local business. Added road hazard, ended up with 2 nails in the tire one of which was in the side wall as anyone can clearly see........Not Robs Tires fault, we get that. When taken to the shop by my wife and son, things went downhill. Told the tire is repairable and that is not a side wall puncture but rather a "High Tread" puncture. I call up there, young lady argues the point with me, and I agree it isnt a sidewall puncture but rather a SIDE WALL TEAR THAT NO MANUFACTURER OR TIRE SHOP WILL ASSUME LAIBILITY FOR!! I told her, have the manufacturer and Rob email me stating the tire is repairable and you will accept liability for it.....silence. I then ask her if she would put her kid on the road on that tire.......silence. Then after telling my wife she had to pay $250 for a new tire (which I nor anyone else including her would accept), the story begins to change......"I need to let Rob look at it". Rob showed up, prorated the replacement, we move on, but what if I wouldn't have called up there.....What if Rob didn't show up today? Super disappointing, unethical business not to mention extremely dangerous life safety issue. I wonder how many people have been taken advantage of that just dont know any better and trust what they are being told as truth? I really thought I had found a good ol hometown tire shop that I would do business with forever, but I will never spend another dime here which stinks. Super disappointing, terrible business ethics

As soon as I got there a gentleman greeted me and asked if I was looking for office. Then helped me find a tire for my car immediately after I said I was looking for a tire. He asked if I had an appointment, I said no. Was able to be helped still quickly and smoothly. Great stuff and great prices.

Rob’s is not what it used to be. Staff was rude and inconsiderate, slow, and generally difficult to deal with. Brought my car in for an alignment and the tech refused to align it and rattled off a list of parts it needed and I was generally upset about how they acted in the situation. So I took my vehicle to another shop, it cost me a little more than what I was quoted at Rob’s because they found the actual issues I was having with the front end and nowhere near what Rob’s told me. This isn’t the only bad experience with them either. I wouldn’t personally recommend Rob’s to anyone, especially because they hate being held accountable for there mistakes.

I wish I had more than five stars to give this business. Master Surgeon William AKA: lead mechanic William, saved me over $1,350! Because of a little mishap I unfortunately had — I had to purchase replacement tail lights for my Audi. The body shop wanted $1,500 to fix the problem… William did it for one hour of labor while I waited! Talk about a good day. This savings almost covered my new set of Pirellis. Which I bought from Rob’s. Our next appointment is already planned. I love shopping and supporting local honest, caring businesses. I highly recommend this business.

Had a pleasant expensive this morning! I called and needed to get in asap for new shoes on the ride. Amanda and Devan were very helpful & professional answering all my questions. Will definitely be back!

I had one tire replaced my dad dropped it off and picked it back up. When i got home from work I went to put it onand it was the wrong rim and tire. I called them 40 minutes before they closed. The lady said if I dont get there before they close they are leaving and not waiting and they were closed the next day. When I got there they were locking up 15 mins early. I was not happy and the tire tech told me if I did not calm down he was going to refuse to give me my tire. There custom services is horrible they do not care about there customers.

I've had work here done before and never had a bad experience, until I tried to make an appointment to flush front and rear diffs, the lady who answered the phone didn't know how to use the computer system so I was told to call another day when a different lady is working. If you can get the lady who knows what she's doing I recommend them if you can't then good luck.

Scheduled an appointment, arrived a few minutes early to check in for my basic oil change and standard tire rotation. They did not have my oil filter on hand, but didn’t realize until they were in the middle of service. They said they could order from auto one and it would take 10 minutes. The owner came to me and said the filter would be in within 10 minutes, I mention that is what the desk girls told me 15 minutes ago. He (the owner) then said “Well I am not god, all I know it that they’re in route. But maybe next time you’ll do better at quick lube.” Then walked away. Something as simple as “I am sorry for the inconvenience, but we are working as fast as we can and I do apologize for not having this in stock for you.” would have gone a long way in this situation. We love to support local and small businesses and understand things happen, but the way the owner was with me today was awful.

This is now my go-to place for car repairs and service. I had bought some used tires from them years ago, and they did well. I was going to another shop closer to home for regular service and repairs, but they raised prices and lowered service quality over the years. So I was looking for a new shop. These folks helped me out in a tight spot. Straight-shooters, honest about what was needed and what wasn't. Best price in the metro I could find after getting several estimates. Will be going here again.

Called and scheduled a transmission flush and tire rotation. Confirmed they do transmission flushes. Dropped it off , gave them my name and stated, " transmission flush and tire rotation." Picked it up several hours later, the bill was much lower than I expected, I asked if they flushed the transmission? She said, yes, we serviced it. I asked did you flush it, she said no , we don't do flushes here. I said did you rotate the tires? She said we didn't do anything with your tires. Know I said flush at least twice and tire rotation at least twice. Talked to the owner, seemed unconcerned. Will not be going back, suggest you write down what you want them to do!!

Brought 4 tires in to be swapped out. It took them over 2 hours to do the job. Prices were outrageous for the work being done. Plenty of employees walking and standing around. The only reason that I gave them one star is because 0 stars wasn’t an option. I would never and will never recommend this place to anyone.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel pretty upset about what happened. I brought my car for a state inspection. It failed for a tie rod and wheel bearing. No big deal. Parts were replaced elsewhere. Brought it back for reinspection and alignment. They would not pass the car saying the wheel bearing wasn’t replaced( it was) because the wheel still had some movement. I told the mechanic that the wheel bearing was not the issue and would like the issue to be found. He refused and was confident it was the wheel bearing. Turns out the wheel bearing was never the issue and it was misdiagnosed. It was actually the lower control arm bushings. This misdiagnosis caused me time off work, purchasing/replacing good parts, and paying for an inspection that was not accurate. Plus wasting my time for a second visit for a re-inspection that never passed. Took it to another shop and they found the issue (lower control arm bushings) immediately. I would ask that you educate your mechanics to be more accurate and honest with your diagnosis.

Place came recommended by a couple of people. I'm needing brake work done on my truck. Leaking brake fluid at one front tire so either new brake line or maybe calliper. I just called, female that answered the phone told me that first they would take a look at it and give me an estimate. (Well that's what all mechanics do). This estimate would cost me between $60 (for ½hr or less) and $120 (for 1 hour) and THEN they could tell me the cost of the job. That $$ isn't taken off the final bill. Labor + parts in addition to the $60-120. WTH??!! I wouldn't bring my truck to this place for anything! Beware!

They were great. Needed an inspection, scheduled the same day, rescheduled the same day, then rescheduled for first thing in the morning due to me being stuck at the tax assessor's in KC. They were quick and considerate. Went a second time. Got an oil change and inspection. My review remains.

Scheduled an inspection, great. We drove 45 minutes to have it looked at and failed. Okay, so can we schedule to fix it? Sure, next Monday! GREAT! We wait a week, only for our appointment to be cancelled and moved to Tuesday. Sure, fine. We show up Tuesday, 10:30am after driving 45 minutes. Wait around for 15-20 minutes before being told the guy we needed to fix the car CALLED IN and won't be here. AFTER we were told multiple times he would be there. Only rated them 2 stars because they recommended us to another shop in Kearney, who took us in within an hour. Had us done, looked at, fixed, paid and out the door WITHIN THIRTY MINUTES. And for waaaaay cheaper than whatever Rob's was going to charge, I'm sure. Long story short, I don't recommend you go here, unless you really like wasting your time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bought 4 new tires and was pleasantly surprised when they bought my old tires which saved me close to $80. Service included mount and balance and took less time than estimated (about an hour). The shop is clean and the customer service is efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this business.

Amazing customer service,awesome experience, very attentive to detail and quality tires. I paid 75 dollars for a tire I usually pay 300 dollars for and it is great quality with an outstanding warranty!!! Will definitely be coming here from now on!!! Jon and Rob were phenomenal with taking expedient care of everything and keeping me updated!!!

Went in for a flat tire repair. They said they could not find the cause but still charged me for the repair. Tire still kept deflating overnight. Took it to a different shop where they found a puncture that was causing a slow leak. Felt like they did not take the time to properly diagnose this issue. Would not recommend.

This place is over priced an definitely takes their sweet time i set a 10:00am appointment to get a patch and they took over a hour and scratched my rim that is less than 2 weeks old. The own rob is a POS an says he aint going to do anything about my rim so their for you will hear from my lawyer. When a person brings in a 2500$ rim an tire you would expect the shop to take care of your property not damage it.

Ive only purchased tires here. Polite counter help. They're willing to answer any questions you have. Prices aren't to bad. Good place to get used tires as well. They can do ATV and lawnmower tires as well. I'd call and make an appointment. Sometimes they get pretty busy!

Very affordable and the service was very quick. I went in for my appointment at 6 and out 10 minutes later for tire changed. Highly recommended.
