The fellas that work there they are generally really nice and helpful and they get you in and out rather quickly. Thanks to all the people whom work there.
Need to update their hours of operation. Online and phone message said they were open 8a-12p on Saturdays. We drove here and they were closed. Wasted trip.
make sure you bring your id to and then you got to figure out a atm computer thing that you cant see the sreen to get paid i had 3 big full trash bags full of smashed cans and only got paid $20 not worth it until prices go back up
Drove in to pick up a check 5 min till closing they yelled at me and I repeatedly told them I didn’t have anything. Then they pushed me off to the ferrous side and kept my check said they couldn’t find it. This place is the worst. If you want paid or decent service you’re off to a bad start here.
What the hell?!!! This place used to be the smoothest operation around. Non-ferrous metals were a quick in and out in a covered building with weight tickets right there. Now they have everyone back in and unload non-ferrous outside in the sun and rain, then bottleneck all traffic back to the ferrous scales where you get trapped in a line with only one person working incoming/outgoing scales and cashier. Makes no sense. Used to come out of my way because of their excellent operation, but not anymore until they change it back. Not sure who thought this was a good idea.
I go there pretty often and have been there several,so far seems to be updated where you can get in and out fairly quickly.Seems lately the prices have been low.
This place is nice, quick turnaround in and out most times, there's a trick to the workers here that I'm just figuring out. 1st few times I thought screw these guys there rude and I'd rather go elsewhere. But they really ant. Once you've been going there for a bit the guys are cool, they actually talk to you and it's whole other vibe than when you just start going
WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS!! Do not bring them a thing. I brought them 133 pounds out solid steel (BY there scale) lawnmower blades my late father left from his mowing business. I figured I would get $20.00 bucks or a bit more for them.
What I got..no joke was $3.25 cents. Take it or leave it according to the guy. Well scrap steel is going for about $10.00 per 100lbs of metal or $195 A TON. as of today's closing. My bad for not checking first and shame on them for treating people like this. Just stay away from them and go elsewhere. Like I said at the start there a joke of a business.
The price was with market prices., a little slow in their method of collecting cans, and it’s a real to drop cans one place and have to travel a couple of blocks to get your money. It’s an ATM type of setup and it could just as easy be at two locations..the personnel were very friendly and helpful, so I only dropped one star due to their difficult payment method..
I placed this as a five star just so others can see. Very bad experience, especially with the crane operator. He was all over the place, claw was not steady one bit, dont know if he was rushing or what, but he had Trashed our trailer. Demolished a finder and Disconeccted our railing from one whole side. I uderstand they may not be the easiest to operate,but even having the desency to say sorry would have been nice, rather than "i knew that was going to happen". Visited on 8/21 @ around 11:20 ish. I wish i had caught his name.
The guy at the weigh in scale was very professional, the process was easy, The guy running the claw that unloaded my trailer was very good and didn't tear up my trailer, and they pay cash. Good experience.
