Had a freeze plug blow going down the highway. Wrecker was great and shop did a good job. Busy place. Was in shop about 10:15, they had to get part, was a total of 4.5 hrs. And bill was not bad. Good place for emergencies. Bit strange they have no restroom available and signs say no eating in waiting room but, all in all it was much better than some.

Called up to ask questions and was told I couldn't speak to some one or get advice with out being charged and they lady laughed at me when I asked what kinda company does that...would not recommend calling and asking questions...the worst company I've ever called and asked for advice

Had to have my truck towed about 6 miles to their shop to get repair done. Matthew was the tow truck driver, he's very knowledgeable about his job. Plus he gave my dog and I a ride up to Drury Inn. Matthew is a very nice helpful person, doing the little things to help me out greatly. I did not meet the mechanic who did the repairs but they seemed to be really efficient getting my truck repaired and back on the road. Thank you ATR for your great service!

Best place I’ve ever gone to!! It was in an emergency because my car broke down, yet I had to make it to my son’s graduation on the time… the guys at the shop were hands-down hero’s!! Riley was especially helpful and I will never forget how kind and smart he was. The rest of the staff was also amazing— they darted across town to get a part I needed, did their superb mechanical doctoring, and then had me out of the shop in time to make my son’s graduation:) … they fix cars as well as trucks and I would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, kind and brilliant mechanics!!

I’m glad we were lucky enough to blow a tire in our RV about a mile away. American had our size tire and had us back on the road in an hour and a half. Very pleased with our bill as well! Highly recommend!

⸻ Review for American Truck Repair (Columbia, MO): I am deeply disappointed with the level of service and complete lack of respect I received at this location. The employees treated my concerns with open mockery when I pointed out that they had dirtied my floor mat with their boots. Instead of offering an apology or a solution, they laughed in my face and said, “So what if it’s dirty? We don’t care.” This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially towards hardworking people who value their belongings. No one is giving me a free replacement for my mat. I do not recommend this place if you care about your property and expect respectful treatment.

Extremely terrible service i advise everyone to not come here when i got my estimate they gave another expensive price they scam other people like this staff was completely rude. I still gave alot of money and still went to another repair shop to fix my truck there work is absolutely terrible

Well im not a person that likes to write too much reviews but i had to take a second to do this one! Im So thankful I was able to find this amazing shop with awesome group of employees in such a terrible moment i had, stranded on the side of the road with no shops around that wanted to help! Great price for all the things they helped me fix and great towing prices. They went above and beyond to help me get back on the road same day. And again an amazing group of employees, thank you guys for all the help.

These guys are like family, they will take care of you immediately as long as they can fix it and they do great reliable work 👍🏻..they offer towing services as well, find them off i70 in Missouri exit 121 at the MidWay truck Center

I called these guys at 1730 on a Saturday, broke down on the side of I-70. They had a mechanic out to me in under 2 hours and they guy was friendly and efficient. He had me going in about an hour. The total price was extremely reasonable. I won't hesitate to call them again if I'm in the area and need a repair!

Had a tire blowout on my semi trailer just before this off-ramp and pulled in here to see if I could find a tire shop. Thankfully these folks were here and happy to help get my tire swapped and back on the road in under an hour. Cheap price as well! Very nice folks with a good crew. 100% worth the stop

Chagarged us over $2600 for seal replace and spindle repair. Not even 2 days later seal was leaking. Took it in and had to get seal replace and spindle fixed again. American truck repair is ignoring my emails and calls. Looks like we will see each other in court soon.

Atypical truck repair, the tech I taked to was alittle rough at first by after a few moments he changed his demeanor. They only do 18 wheeler tires after hours and weekends.

This shop replaced wheel studs on my dually. This job required to remove the hub assembly and replace inner and outer hub axel seals. I noticed the next day the inner seal was leaking hub oil. The shop manager gave zero effort on making it right. She immediately pointed out the invoice has “no warranty ( in small print)”. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to my worse enemy. Replying to “owner” I paid additional $90 for you guys to pickup brand new parts from local dealership. How is that not you providing parts…? 10 days later was the quickest I could get ahold of your “manager” because the person answering the phone and I quote “ohh I forgot to tell her.” I’ve never heard of re torquing a rear hub axel nut after 80 miles 😂😂😂😂. Y’all didn’t use the correct 9 pin hub axel socket to torque the nut down to spec. You used a hammer and a punch to tighten.

Came in there with a steer axle wheel seal leaking. The owner was able to get me in and back on the road within 2 hours and that was on a Saturday!! You can’t hardly find good shops out here on the road anymore but I’m glad I stumbled on this one.

Called for a breakdown, simple, I had my upper radiator hose pop, I need a hose and coolant, my location a couple miles only from shop,did not show up with hose or coolant,used my tools and charged 2 hours because that's how long he took. Don't know why it took him 2 hours he wasn't with me for maybe 45 minutes. 0 stars.

My boyfriend had an issue with truck. Rebecca was so helpful and friendly, (which is hard to find these days). She had all the information we needed to get back in the road. Thank you!!

Great mechanic shop! The staff are very helpful and always are working their hardest! Riley came out after hours and got me back on the road in no time!

The worst shop I have every taken a truck to in all 50 states! Rude is an understatement! Charged $3600 and then told me I should probably take the truck to the freightliner dealership! I do not recommend the shop.

Highly recommend! Pulled in with a bad carrier bearing and not much time to spare, these guys got me right in and out 👌 2nd time there on 3/28 with a blown trailer. Again right in and right out. This is how all shops should be.

Great service! My Sprinter broke a serpentine belt which in turn cut the transmission cooler line. They were easy to deal with and fixed it fast on a Sunday afternoon! Thank you!!!!

The mechanic seemed OK, but the office staff are incompetent. What should have taken a couple days waiting on parts turned into a week of wasted time because they did not order parts when they said they did and when they did finally order the parts they were the wrong parts. Took my truck out of the shop and took it somewhere else to finish the job.

We thought we just had low tire pressure and stopped here hoping they had an air pump. (The nearby gas station pump was out of order.) Turned out we had a screw in our tire. They fixed our tire really quickly and all the staff was extremely polite. Thank you for getting our traveling family back on the road so fast.

Not 24hrs, turned away for a trailer tire at 1620. Reply: I specifically asked to pay more for "after hours". He complained about being the only person working since that morning and said I could try back in the morning. Im sorry you did not offer "after hours".
