I was in the middle of my journey when my tire blew out. The staff at Ethan's ensured my car was safe enough to get back on the road and were very polite!
A few weeks ago we took a truck to Ethan's Auto Repair for an alignment, we told him we knew there was an issue if he could check it out. He told us what was wrong and the cost for repair. We wanted to fix it himself due to the cost and advised Ethan of that and asked if he owed him anything. No, never got a bill either and keys were in the truck for pick up.
Today we take the truck back for the alignment and they tell my husband $160.. he discussed with the lady, asked to talk to Ethan, no luck. So, I call to get a quote.. $79.95.. well then why did you tell my husband $160. She then tells me that it is a diagnostic fee, for taking it and fixing it ourselves. Well shouldn’t we have been charged for that initially?!?! You can’t just tack that fee on at another appointment! I asked when this became effective and she spouts off last week. We have always taken our vehicles there, but we are not recommending that anymore because obviously they like to go behind your back and screw you over.
Thank You to Everyone @Ethan's...Very helpful. If you don't know a lot about vehicles they'll make sure you can understand what they'll do or did to your car. I'm not very car knowledgeable but when I asked them to show me how I could extend the time between visits they told me. Now I'm getting ready to go back to them so my car can get some problems fixed.
I've been going to Ethan for years and I cannot recomend him any more highly!! Ethan is one of the only honest mechanics I've ever met and he bends over backwards to do everything in his power to get parts and get you your vehicle back ahead of schedule. The staff are all polite and courteous and I wish I could rate higher then 5 stars as the shop absolutely deserves it. Kudos!!
Went in for an inspection. They inspected it very fast and efficiently while I waited and told me exactly what else my car needed. A friendly staff & mechanic. I will recommend Eathan's to all my friends & neighbors ! Ethan's will have my trust for now on. Thank you & God bless all the good people there.
Nice locally owned repair shop with friendly staff. Had a lawnmower tire recently that they patched to get me by on until I could get a new tire. Once I called and told them I needed the new tire, it was there the next day. Took my lawn mower rim in and the installed it quickly and had my lawn mower up and going again.

Blow a tire and had my car towed here. Didn’t have my size in stock. They order and new one and had it next day and worked around my schedule. Very helpful.
Robin and I was in Belton when my 2018 f150 started making a noise. I thought at first, maybe a wheel bearing, but then maybe a rock stuck in front wheel. Drove it home and didn't get any worse. Took it up by to Ethan's, he test drove it, wasn't sure, put it on lift and front right wheel was about to fall off. Wheel bearing. Fine job for finding it and fixing it. What a good business to have in Adrian. Thanks Eathan.
1 star is generous.Absolute worst service ever. Van had an appointment on the 21st of June. This is the 21st of August. Haven't even heard from them. Communication is so important. Nothing. Why did I even have an appointment?Took a month for that appointment. Such a disappointment. A friend asked about our van and he said he hadn't even looked at it. When we called, they said he couldn't figure it out. But again NO COMMUNICATION! Good thing it isn't our primary vehicle. Disappointed! Do not send your vehicle here.
The people at Ethans's couldn't have been more helpful and kind to my son and me recently when his car broke down. I would highly recommend then to everyone.
Ethan's is a great local shop that was able to help me get my truck back up and running. They don't waste any time and are willing to give an honest assessment about the repairs rather than telling you it all needs done right then and there. For example, they agreed I could wait to repair AC system until spring since I don't need AC in the winter. I appreciate them allowing me to spread out my costs when the opportunity arises. I highly recommend using Ethan's shop.
If you want your car fixed right the first time, go see Ethan and his gang of repair gurus. They know cars plus one of the mechanics is a volunteer firefighter so if your house is on fire or you are hurt, he can save your house or your life, what a bonus. Great people, great service, great shop. Go see Ethan, he will do you right.
Ethan’s did great work on my truck and was reasonably priced. He rebuilt the rear end, changing all of the bearings in the differential and axles. He also changed the ball joints and aligned the truck. It runs and drives as good as new. No issues with the service at all.
I really like the work Ethan and the guys do. Always nice. The receptionist they have now. I do not care for. She does not call. When asked too. Took the cardboard off me key. I have done that for quite some time. Makes it easy to find my key. Majority of the black keys look the same. It took Ethan a bit to find my key. I have that fixed now.
This time she did not call and let my dad know, the parts were not there yet. Until he called to see if done yet. So dad will call later. You can not count on her to call.
Had new tires and an AC service on my 2015 Yukon. Price is better than any of the big discount chains and the guys are MECHANICS not just tire changers and lube techs. In and out in about 90 minutes on a very busy Friday afternoon. Keep your money local!!!
I went to Ethan's to get my car inspected. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant. I didn't care for the previous one. I didn't have to wait very long. The tech that did that did the inspection was very nice as well.
Have been really happy with them. Good work and fair price. I like that I've never had to bring my truck back for the same issue. Fixed properly the first time. Will never go to anyone else.
Great customer service at a reasonable price. I had a lot done to my Honda Civic at Ethan's and the price was probably about a fifth of what I would have paid in the city. Glad to find a local place to take our vehicles!
Ethan and his technicians are always very professional and do very quality work. When I go in there they always exceed my expectation and their prices are more reasonable then almost anywhere I've been. I've been going to him since he had a little shop in town and was the only employee. Even though his business has gotten larger his respect and attitude towards his customers has never changed. I have 4 vehicles and would never take them anywhere else.
We are a small transport company based in Florida. We were traveling through the area with truck problems on our F550. We did a search on Google for repair shops and Ethan's came up with excellent reviews so we took a chance and just drove over to their location. It was an early Friday morning, they didn't hesitate to take the truck for a road test, they diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the parts had them expedited to their shop and had us back on the road in no time. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Since we were unfamiliar with the area, we asked for a recommendation for a place to eat while they did the repairs and even loaned us a vehicle to get to the restaurant. If you are ever in need for service on your vehicle, we highly recommend Ethan's Auto Repair!!!

Have been taking work here for years. I take my mom's car there for service and repairs, as well as my own. Trustworthy and fair. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They work to get you in as soon as possible. Trish is knowledgeable and does a great job up front, and gets the right info to Ethan in a timely manner. This is what a local shop is supposed to be like.
A family member passing Adrian, MO on I-49 developed car trouble requiring a stop for assistance. Ethan's Auto Repair happened to be the shop that provided the needed help. Excellent service was the order of the day. The vehicle assessment was worked in in a timely fashion. Apparently, it was a false alarm as everything seemed to check out and the problem had resolved on its own. With reassurance, my family was sent on his way. Congenial, professional, and, in this particular situation, gratuitous service: can't get much better than that. Many thanks to the folks at Ethan's!
Took my bronco in to redo the exhaust system and he exceeded my expectations with craftsmanship, friendliness and professionalism. From the moment I walked into the shop everyone was friendly and courteous. Would recommend highly!
