Terrible customer service! Just because someone is asking your prices there is no need to say things like “you can’t afford me” especially when you tow vehicles for a living.
Price gouging at its best esp for owner op truck drivers! Wanted $800 to hook a strap to our bumper to pull a few feet so we could get rolling off some ice in a parking lot! Absolutely ridiculous and his response that’s just how much it costs! BS I’ve had truck AND trailer towed for less than that! Yall should be ashamed of yourselves! Cry and moan when nothing on shelves but forget how all that stuff gets on them shelves!
A family member truck was towed to Lazer Towing in Horn Lake and in order to get the truck home, we had to have it towed. I had to call another towing company out to the tow yard to get the van that Lazer Towing was trying to hold hostage. The very kind, pleasant people of Kimble Towing were a life saver. I was starting to lose hope on good, honest people/ businesses. The lady I spoke with at Kimble Towing was very pleasant and helpful and the driver of the tow truck was very kind and honest. I called Kimble Towing and they were at the tow yard of Lazer Towing within minutes. If I could give 10 stars I would. There still are some good, kind and honest people around. Thank you Kimble Towing for making my day a better day.
My car broke down on the side of the interstate and I called a few companies. So many other companies were a long wait, but Kimbles was able to get my vehicle within a timely manner for a decent price. They were professional and quick.
I called earlier and inquired about getting my car towed off the side of the highway and wanted to compare prices. The guy on the phone that I was speaking to attitude quickly turned snappy as he rushed to get off the phone. Only to learn a couple hours later that my mom was calling around as well and called them and the same guy was rude and snappy with her stating “I already told you earlier that it would cost $200 to tow but now it’s $250 because it’s after 5pm”. I am really surprised that they have a 3.9 rating on here and have any business at all simply by the way that he speaks to people on the phone.
On 4/5/24, I was hit by a drunk driver. The first guy that towed my car was very polite. This was a Friday no service location was opened or they were already filled up with other repairs so my car had to stay until the police report was available. The lady at the towing company was very nice and helpful. However, I can’t say that about the second driver who had to tow my car to the shop on the 16th. He was very rude and unprofessional. He started use profanity because he didn’t put the location in right. I had to tell him off in a professional manner. I had to drive down over 50 miles to show this man where to go because he was putting the wrong street address in the GPS. I lost my home on November 26 to a fire and currently live in another location until my home is rebuilt. I never want to use their service again due to last driver who had to take my car to the repair shop! My back tire was about to be on flat and he tried to say that he did not know how it happened in sarcastic way. There was nothing wrong with the passenger side back tire when it was pickup from the accident area. The drunk driver damaged the driver side front bumper and door area not passenger side back tire area!
Don’t know how this company has four stars. The customer service rep was very rude and impatient. These are basic characteristics that I believe customers service reps should have. Overall very dissatisfied and do not recommend.
The owner was rude to my family member when their driver was unable to assist getting their car out. He demanded payment even though his company was unable to help.
His driver however, was extremely nice, honest with us, and gave his honest opinion.
Man was rude and wasn't listening to details and was trying to get over. Quoted a price and then act like I was wrong for saying ok and tried to explain how it stuck and just very difficult.
Quick!! That’s what you want when you’re in a terrible situation. They said they would get me within the hour and that’s what they did. They were very quick and prompt. None of the other tow truck companies had the same sense of urgency or care. Thank y’all so much! And the driver was very kind.
The customer service was terrible!!!!!!!! I attempted to use this towing company, but the individual who answer the phone was rude, impatient, and not understanding. He began raising his voice and showed no sense of professionalism. This company will never receive my business again until they remove that kind of customer service!!!!!!!!
Great tow company. Drivers all seem to be educated on disengaging the vehicles with electronic transmissions like found in BMW, Mercedes, Audi and many more. They are also prompt to get my customers off the road and their cars safely strapped and to me for the repair. My #1 go to company is Kimbles towing in Horn lake, MS.
I know I know. No one likes to get their vehicles towed. I know I don't, but sometimes life happens and it's just the way it is. So if you have to have your vehicle towed please remember Kimble's Towing Services. They are very nice and will do their best to help take care of you... Even though you need your vehicle towed. I think they are awesome. If I ever need mine taken away for any reason I'm calling Kimble's Towing Services. Because I know my truck will be taken care of until I come get it.
I bent an axle on my trailer while hauling a trencher. I called Kimbles towing and they were extremely helpful with this problem... They went above and beyond to help me! I highly recommend them!
WE CALLED FOR A TOW YESTERDAY 5/31/17 AFTER OUR CAR BROKE DOWN IN HORN LAKE, THEY TOLD US SOMEONE WOULD BE THERE IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. AFTER AN HOUR WE CALLED AND THEY SAID IT'LL JUST BE A FEW MORE MINUTES. AFTER ANOTHER 45 MINUTES THEY TOLD US THE SAME THING AGAIN. WAIT A FEW MORE MINUTES. WE CALLED THE BACK AND ASKED COULD THEY PLEASE JUST LET US KNOW IF SOMEONE IS COMING AS WE WERE STANDING OUT IN THE HEAT WITH A BROKEN DOWN CAR. SHE EXPLAINED IT WOULD BE A FEW MORE MINUTES. THEY DID FINALLY CALL BACK TWENTY MINUTES LATER TO LET US KNOW THEY HAVEN'T EVEN PICKED UP THE VEHICLE THAT WAS SCHEDULED PRIOR TO OURS!!!!!. SO AFTER OVER 2 HOURS OF WAITING, WE JUST WALKED TO HOME DEPOT, BOUGHT OUR OWN TOW STRAPS AND HAD A FRIEND PULL THE CAR TO OUR HOUSE. WHAT A JOKE THESE PEOPLE ARE!!!
Ok, so I needed tow service and contacted Kimble towing at approximately 11:32 today. The rep said it would roughly be an hour to an hour and a half wait... ok, no problem. I came within that time frame so that I wouldn't have a wait. At 1:08 still no one so I called and was told they were caught in traffic! Now why is it that that's the excuse we are always given?? It's after 2:00 and I FINALLY get a call from Kimble towing stating they were on the way, but it'll be another 25 min wait!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! The customer service is horrible! And I would have at least appreciated a phone call just to update me on why it is exceeding way pass the time I was initially told. I will NEVER utilize Kimble's Towing again!!! and if I was able to not give any stars I wouldn't have!!
