If I could give 0 stars I would, these guys love to scam people, their hours are unreliable, and they are still going by a different location to try to make it even harder to get your car. Absolutely one of the most unprofessional slimy businesses I’ve come in contact with.

There should be an option for 0 stars. Called in to Ford Roadside Assistance at 1PM to have my vehicle towed. Wasn't overly concerned as I was at work and figured 4 hours left in my work day shouldn't be an issue. Now to clarify, I am understanding of mistakes or delays. I get it. But when you call at 5PM and are told it will be 30-45 minutes as the driver just left from Minneapolis and then call again at 6PM and are told he didn't realize he needed a flatbed so he had to come back and get one. It will 30-45 minutes. At 6:45PM still nothing. Ford roadside has attempted several times to contact them and been unsuccessful. Then are finally are told there is one car ahead of you and it will be another 60 minutes. Major metropolitan area and it takes 6 hours to get a tow? I work in the truck industry and could have been a very good source of referrals for them. Needless to say that isn't going to happen. Do better!

Wasted our time by not updating their online address to their new St. Paul address from the old Newport one. Wasted more time by not putting our car in as the right model or with the right license plate number.

Absolute worst. Absolutely terrible. “ We’ll be there in an hour.” Called after 75 minutes. “Oh he’s in on his way.” Never showed up. Froze my tail off until a reputable tow arrived. Garbage company.

No stars ever! private towing companies should be illegal. They're literally committing theft daily! These THUGS stole my vehicle with my sweet elderly husky DOG in it!!!! While I was helping my DISABLED MOTHER move into her new apartment, I briefly parked in a no parking zone because there were no open parking spaces close to the door. When I was inside helping my mother for about 15mins these lowlifes stole my car and my DOG!!! I can't believe anyone would wait and watch people moving into there homes in a low income area and than rob them blind! Truly SICKENING and ILLEGAL to tow a vehicle with an animal in it! We had to drive 30mins to the lot where they demanded 400$ from me and put me in a pressured position to avoid a crazy daily up charge! I should've taken pictures to sue them but i was too defeated by the whole ordeal think of doing that. I sincerely hope something terribly awful happens to all of you and justice is served for every poor person and animal you've robbed and violated!!!

This tow company does not know that there are people who been doing park and ride at Sibley Plaza in St. Paul, the one on W 7th near Davern. They go at apartment and residential areas more but they have missed a lot of cars they should had towed because there are signs specifically say “ no park and ride, only customers and tenants “. I’ve seen the same people got off the bus and drove their cars away almost every day around 8-10:30pm. I live on other side of the street

Absolutely The Worst Towing-- zero stars if it were possible. :-( Allstate Roadside Assistance chose them, but three hours later, I got an automated message that the driver couldn't reach me (but he never tried), so I called Absolute, but they couldn't even restart my ticket (!) and had no idea who the driver was, so I had to call Allstate again and wait two more hours for a different company! Never using Absolute again-- an Absolute Mess. :-(

Absolutely terrible towing company. They cherry-pick which vehicles to tow, and I’ve seen cars parked in the same spot every day that never get touched. My car was towed and after only 2 hours in the lot, and I was charged nearly $400. To make matters worse, they clearly don’t care about how they handle vehicles—my car was damaged during the tow, and they showed zero concern. Completely unprofessional, greedy, and careless. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Would give negative stars if I could, by far the worst company I have ever experienced. I was bullied and mocked by rotten human beings (their staff) over the phone for wanting my car back. Their staff are grown adults but act like children. Do not get towed by this company

These people are contracted with my apartments. They come at the most random times at night and patrol the lot and love to cherry pick who they tow. I have an entire album of photos of one vehicle that parks in the loading zone overnight, or in handicap spots, but never seems to get towed away. I parked for 10 minutes in the loading zone of my apartments to use the bathroom while driving for work. I got towed. I parked in my lot, in a spot, my tabs were 6 days expired and they towed me. $400 each time. Cash only. No more than $2 in pennies in case you wanted to be petty at their greediness. I have watched them tow vehicles as well, they are very careless and have dropped one vehicle at least 4 times in a row that I witnessed. He even towed it from the side of the vehicle to move it, and it dropped off the rig with a BIG thud. If they ever tow you, check for damages, they suck. $300 tow fee $20 gas fee and $40 “storage” fee even though I got to watch my car get towed with my purse in it. I gave chase, but he ignored me. They wouldn’t allow retrieval of my purse or work keys at all until I payed for the tow, and I couldn’t pay for it and pick it up until 8am, which of course was when I needed to be to work. Point being, they charge way too much, are predatory, bullies and cherry pick who they tow. And the tow driver REALLY sucks at his job. They are rude and will hang up on you, and are just all around shady. Look how welcoming the office is. Absolute Towing is Absolute Trash in every standard.

We just got a new apartment, My mother was here for an hour, when I went to go put our parking pass on her car at 10:07. The guy told us that unless we gave him $100, he was going to steal her car because she was here for an hour. We had to give him $100, for him to not steal her car. It is no wonder why this business has a two-star review. They steal cars. Stealing a vehicle from a current service. Member's mother is completely despicable.

They have a contract to tow out of my Apartment Complex parking lot to make sure untagged vehicles aren’t using tenant’s parking. I’ve had a car parked in the same general area for eight years as long as I’ve lived here with my parking pass. I forgot to place the parking pass back into the car one evening after having family over whom I borrowed the pass to that night and they towed the car away while I was asleep. I call the next day and the charge is $390.30 to get it out of their lot. Fine I made a mistake I say to myself and go get the car. The CS Rep barely acknowledged me as I walk in. You have to peep through a 12” x 12” window to talk to them like it’s a pawn shop because obviously they know they’re running a dirty business and have to protect themselves from retaliation. I find out they don’t take credit cards and they don’t give change. Funny as they’ll accept a credit card any other time you ask for a tow service. So I have to pull cash out of the ATM and they’re charging a $10 fee to get cash. Don’t use these crooks if you need your car towed for any reason under any circumstance. Use another company that makes an effort to treat its customers well instead of gouging them unfairly like a common criminal.

This is how absolute does their Tows. I feel for the owner of this vehicle and if there is any damage I hope they find these pictures to use in there lawsuit. We followed him probably 5 miles to be sure this didnt turn out worse. This was an accident waiting to happen at 60 mph on the highway driver had to know with zero care or concern. Beware if you use this company. Im sure they have damaged vehicles and took no responsibility.

Fast, Friendly, and Professional! After a long day at work, the last thing anyone wants is car trouble, but that’s exactly where I found myself, stuck on the side of the freeway during rush hour. Thankfully, help came quickly. Within about 20 minutes of the dealership contacting them, the tow truck arrived. The driver was respectful, personable, and made me feel at ease from the moment he introduced himself. He even walked me safely to the truck, making sure I was comfortable before we hit the road. The drive from 94 East to White Bear Lake Superstore was smooth and stress-free. I hope I never need a tow again, but if I do, there’s no question who I’m calling. This place is such a scam. I was helping my mother carry heavy grocery items up to her apartment on Mothers Day. My car was parked maybe 30 minutes and this company towed my car with my wallet, phone, and groceries in my car. I called and asked if I could come get my items as I missed him taking my car by 5 minutes someone said and he refused and said I had to wait until 9 am Monday morning. Due to not having my phone I was unable to login to my job on Monday and had to have my mom make an hour round trip drive to get me. Due to not having my wallet my mom had to pay the $396.96 cash only demand. Then the lady asked for my license and I said they stole that with my car! I made sure we did not get a penny more to this heartless scam of a place. I would NEVER willing using this service. These type of people contribute to the shady, untrustworthy, greediness of today’s world. Shameful!

All they care about is towing cars from low income neighborhoods and selling them at auctions. I caught them right before they hooked my car and they tried to square up with me and fight just to tow my vehicle. He demanded $200 cash to release it even though it wasn't hooked up yet. Long story short they basically stole my car right in front of my face. Dirty, grimey, slimey business. They should be rated 1 Star by by everyone universally.

These guys are scum. Took my kids car while it was running and she was walking towards it then charges me over 375$ and all cash. The price they tell you on the phone was way less. And tp put the cherry on top they stole tools outta my kids car while they hadit. When I called I was told to bad so sad you drove the car outta the back gate so whatever got taken isn't thier problem... Getting towed sucks. But getting scammed helplessly while calling yourself a business is bullshit!!!

Let me just start off by saying coming from a McKnight Townhome renter, if you supposedly say that YOU will be towing cars when the snow plowing comes to clean. Do PLEASE keep your word. Because this is the SECOND time you guys, your towing company lets these other people off the hook and you don’t tow their cars. Two years ago you guys towed BOTH of my cars while I was out there and I even spoke to one of your employees if you could please let me move it out quick or pay for it but the employee was absolutely rude and took off with my cars while I was literally there. However, this time around two months ago and just today you guys somehow turn soft and have decided to not tow anyone that didn’t move their car out. I find that very unfair because you guys towed my cars but oh now you won’t you allow these people to PAY in cash but yet they keep their cars inside and YOU actually have some mercy for them. Yeah NO. Because most of these people have actually NEVER kept their word and NEVER moved the cars out, they wait until you leave. So keep your word about this towing or NO ONE will take this towing company seriously anymore.

I now know why such a low rating. I live 4 miles from the tow company. Took 3 hours to get to my house. Truck drive was so rough with my vehicle, my front plate came off and was lost on the way to the tow company. When I called, the women just laughed it off like it was no big deal. Just got my car running again and can't drive it until I replace the plates. Avoid this place

The driver showed up 5 minutes early. He was very friendly and took really good care of my truck. This company has always taken care of me when ever I call them. Pricing was fair considering how far they had to tow it. For those of you complaining about having to pay cash. There is a reason why. People are always trying to get stuff for free. Shame on you. Suggestion dont go to a bar get drunk . You won't have to worry about you're car getting towed.

Absolute disgusting group of individuals, terrible business model to swindle people. My car was towed at an apartment complex that my vehicle is registered at TWICE. These people stole my car and were advised on both occasions. The apartment complex is doing renovations on the parking lot currently where everyone has to park on the main street side. The whole complex is parked there. These people towed my car yet again knowing the circumstances regarding renovations. The apartment even advised me to park there. In addition, they have an excessive $321-$400 fee first day. It’s obvious the apartment and these people have some type of under the table deal. I’m moving, this is my last straw!

This company is by far the worst company I have dealt with. They are parking lot scammers. for "cash" they will be glad to disconnect your vehicle. They won't disclose where your information is going into their "database". Yes I was in the wrong but I didn't know that I couldn't park in the parking lot. The sign is on the dumpster, which is located behind the parking spots in a dark corner, which made me think it was there so you don't park in front of the dumpster. I called them to find out when I could get my vehicle, I asked for the name of the person I was talking to, I asked for a call back number, the amount and when I could get my vehicle. She didn't want to give me a call back phone number, or a name for a reference. She finally gave me both before rudely hanging up. The people in the office were rude and impatient. I was reading what I was signing for and could see that the lady was getting frustrated.. they will take your vehicle and drive like a racecar. When the driver left the parking lot he took off so fast tires squealed and truck fishtailed. I never had a tow truck driver take off with a vehicle when I was right there. This company is trash

I was driving on the freeway through Cottage Grove when a semi truck decided it wanted to be in the same lane as me - my tire was shredded and the driver's side sustained quite a bit of damage. The police called Absolute Towing to get my car - Zach was the tow truck driver and he was just the absolute sweetest person! I had to stay in my vehicle until he showed up, so when he arrived he approached my car and told me I could take my time and gather my things before exiting the vehicle. When I was ready, Zach walked out of the shoulder to open my door, then calmly said, "I'm sorry sweetie, I don't think this door is going to open, you're going to have to go out the passenger door." Zach probably sees these kinds of situations all the time, but his compassion and kindness was a balm to my anxiety, and I can't express how much I appreciate him. He handed me a business card and assured me my car wouldn't go far, and pointed in the direction where the lot was. I went to the lot a couple days later and spoke with the lady at the front desk - I asked her about the driver and we talked about how amazing Zach is! This world needs more people like Zach!!! To Zach: God bless you! You keep such an amazing disposition in an industry that can be so full of...drama. If I had a clearer head when we met, I would have given you a hug - thank you so much!

They stole my car. Had one to many to drink at wandering leaf brewery and ordered an uber home, come back the next day and my car is GONE! Bartender gave me the contact for this place and lady on the phone claims the site is clearly marked with no overnight parking signs which are NOT visible on the building of the strip mall NOR in the center of the parking lot. There are a handful of signs on the very far end of the lot along the road, not visible to the majority of the parking lot. Now my car is being held ransom for $370 CASH ONLY which is very sketchy to me. Guess thats what i get for being a responsible driver and not driving home drunk ?

Let me start off by saying I rarely write bad reviews, I like spending my time giving companies that deserve more business and recognition in a positive way. This company however should be shut down in my humble opinion and will be proceeding to legal actions. They are scamming people by towing cars illegally and then charging people over $300+ to recover their vehicles. I parked my car in a spot that was for visitor parking. I have parked here many of times helping my grandma as she is the one who lives at the building. Absolute towing advised me that there are FOUR signs for each parking space that is allowed for visitors which was is simply not true- I had pictures to prove it. I was told that i needed exact change of $321.79 in cash no pennies more or less- RED FLAG. Once I got there the door was locked even though they were open I called to get let in the lady literally opened the door and shut it in my face. The lady was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I asked if i could see my car for any damages before paying she said no- I have to pay first-RED FLAG. I asked if I could see the pictures they took of my car being parked in the no parking zone for visitors- the lady asked why and tried arguing with me. I explained, I was told that I could see pictures to make sure, she explained to me that they have pictures and they are on her computer but she cannot show me because I’m on the other side of the counter- RED FLAG then I simply said I wasn’t leaving until I saw the pictures and another guy comes with the pictures on his phone that literally shows nothing, you can barely see my car in the photos and the lady yelled at me saying they don't need to explain anything to me. I have never in my life been treated so poorly from a company. I was respectful the entire time- there was no need to treat me the way they did. Also when I called them to make sure my car was indeed towed the lady hung up on me when i told her that I may have been towed by mistake- RED FLAG. If I could give this company NEGATIVE 5 stars I would. These people are not helping the community and they are simply just rude and unhappy individuals. And the company deserves to be shut down.

The worst company I ever came across. They stole my car from my apartment. My only crime being a piece of cloth partially covered the batch on my dashboard. The customer service is a mess. The lady at the desk needs to be fired ASAP. She is so rude and mean. It's good to make money genuinely. Rather than stealing people's hard earned money. I payed 320$ and asked her to come and see the batch for herself. She refused flatly. After all she got the cash and nothing else mattered. You guys don't even deserve a ⭐. ?????

went and got our car back, they busted our window to get in to our car then cracked and busted our dash board to see the vin number. I called the company and the most rudest lady told me to kick rocks and that she would not pay for what her service did to my car. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. She needs to be fired along with the family that owns the place. AND HAD TO WRITE THIS REVEIW AGAIN CAUSE THEY REPORTED IT FALSE. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR TOWED BY THESE PEOPLE.
