I want to say THANK YOU to everyone at Tesch Service Center who worked on my cars over the years. I drive foreign/European cars and Tesch never disappoints. Recently they did a complete brake job on my car, rotors and pads F&R, and it was done right, timely, and very reasonable cost. Thank you Tesch crew!
I am beyond impressed with the customer care. I was stranded unable to shift from park. Called and within minutes the owner arrived, knew exactly what to do to allow me to drive home with a car full of groceries. He put my mind at ease that I would be able to safely drive 30 miles to work the following day and ordered part needed for my 2003 VW Beetle, which arrived the very next day. They were able to fix earlier than my scheduled appointment (shop remained open during recent blizzard) and repair was completed in a half hour, so convenient. And cost, a fraction of what I was expecting. The years of experience and expertise shows.
I call in saying I need tires for my Ford and set up a time. They dismiss the conversation and I ask, "don't you need the tire size?" and they say oh, sure. I assume that means they will inquire what kind of tires I need when I get there.
So I show up, and I probably should have taken reigns of what kind of tires I wanted, but the dude asks me for my keys, and then scoots out the door, drives it into a stall and immediately starts working on it. I'm thinkin.. hm.. maybe its a small shop and they only have one kind of tire available?
They got the car done pretty quick, they did good work. The bill was 900 bucks and I'm thinkin holy balls what did they put on this thing? I look at my bill, and they charged 15 dollars for a 3 dollar lug nut that apparently was missing? And then 205 a tire. 160 a tire online, plus disposal fees and labor I would imagine, but none of that is broken down on the bill.
I receive no explanation of the work done, and did not receive information about the warranty on my tires, or the standard obvious "recheck your lug nuts after 100 miles." I am not from around here and this service was done correctly, fast, but lacked in communication with the customer.
If you don't know much about cars, this place could probably take advantage of you very easily.
Although our first experience was good when I called and told them exactly what was to be replaced, when we sent our daughter to get a camshaft solenoid replaced on her Captiva, a ten minute job (two clamps, three clips, a clip on cover and two screws) with parts under $100 turned into a $400 bill. Not impressed by overcharging her as a young single girl. Definitely took advantage of her lack of knowledge in vehicles.
Tesch was great. Brought my vehicle in at 5:25 Tuesday and it was repaired and ready to go by 4:00 Wednesday. From diagnosis to getting parts to picking up I would have to say a less then 24 hour turnaround is great. Thank you, my daughter will be very happy to finally be able to drive her first vehicle safely.
Appt process was flawless, they kept my appt on time as given, vehicle completed in a timely manner. Work done better than promised. Thank you guys again.
Took my car here originally to get a second opinion on what needed to be done to fix my old car. Not only did they do that, they also diagnosed other problems I was not aware of, and charged me only half the price of other places. They let it stay overnight since I didn't get paid until the next day, and took good care of my car. Now, the only lights going off are the ones I still haven't asked them to fix! Coming back whenever my car needs fixing!
I needed a quick fix on my car before along drive just a bolt put in door nothing fancy, as they were busy guy at front desk instead of making me wait offered to correct it , it's just the little things that can make u drive a little outta your way to give them your business , hands down I will return and reccomend to anyone.
They were swift to help me out when I got a flat (with a one month old in the car with me). Great service, friendly employees and a very reasonable price for what they did. Thank you!
