Car broke down at 3:30am, the guy was there to give me a tow within 20 mins. Super nice guy, very fast and efficient. Guy was super easy to chat with all the way home! I will be using them again for any and all towing needs! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Interaction was pay me & put car on street for us to load. Customer service=0. Had to go twice b/c of lack of communication between driver & office. Money hungry, kick 'em while they're down feeling
I tried finding a review I previously left for this company that wasn’t as pleasant due to some carelessness, however, this company has since redeemed themselves. I am specifically writing this review today though because of their employee **Austin** who was so amazing and deserves the praise and way more stars than 5! He was diligent, knowledgeable, fast, and most importantly - he cared about the safety of my baby and I as we sat on the side of 94 with a flat tire.

Austin stands for Amazing. I was so incredibly impressed by Austin's friendliness, genuine compassion and empathy for my situation when I needed to have my Chevrolet Blazer EV towed to Gilleland Chevrolet due to my losing my key fobs. Gilleland is supplying me with new fobs. Austin was scheduled to pick up my Blazer between 10:30AM and 12:30 and he arrived early at 10:15 AM! Fantastic!! He knows his Truck and Towing Equipment extremley well and very easily and SAFELY got my vehicle on his tow truck and transported it, and ME, to Gilleland.
I had a great conversation with Austin during the drive there and learned from him just how much he appreciates and values his job and his employer!
It is frankly refreshing to see an employee so dedicated to his employer as well as his customers.

Andrew O towed my van 67 miles after my car broke down. He was professional, personable and is a great communicator. He arrived before the dispatcher suggested, and got my van safely to our car dealership. So thankful for him.
They attended to me at the interstate highway on July 11, as the service provider of the Triple A. The tow truck driver, Allen, damaged my skid plate when he backed up with his tow lift. He informed me that their office will cover the damages and call me. But they never reached out. Pending complaint with the Triple A.
I had a very bad experience Collins Brothers they changed a tier for me and put the nuts on so tight l could nt get them off when I called them they sent someone out he couldn't get them off either after that I got the Run around for 5 days which left me no vehicle to drive they sent another driver out and took less
then 5 min to get them off with a large impact wrench
What a screwl for them pick up my carto move it over 3 ft it cost me 183.00 only took a maybe a half hour if they want to quit talking and did their job it probably would have took 20 minutes never again will I go through them again I suggest you go to Andy's towing unless you want to get screwed go ahead and go there!!!
Would not even give me a ride back to work after my car was totalled and rendered inoperable in an accident that was blatantly not my fault. I had to walk 2 miles back to work...was told to just figure it out...would not recommend...

Forgot the kids name but he had to come from St Cloud up to Avery and then back to the cities on Easter Sunday close to the end of his shift. Wait was nothing. Service was great! Poor kids had to drive all the way back to St. Cloud then too. Thanks for your help and making a bad situation better..
Arrival time was amazing. Every time, I get someone who is professional, knowledgeable and respectful. Tonight Ryan was our HERO. Hit a deer, my first time ever. Fearing there was more damage to the vehicle we could see, we called for a tow. Fast, knowledgeable and so professional. This is a hard job, he did it very well. Uff-da, where do I start? First, if these guys are actually 'brothers', I am sure their mother is ashamed. Actually, I'd bet that any review over 1-star was written by their mother.
STAY AWAY FROM THE COLLINS BROTHERS
They provided my wife no quote, refused to provide any sort of contract at the time of the towing, and then would not release the car back after the weekend. The bill was $744 for an 13-mile tow and they refused to provide any sort of itemized documentation...until the bill was paid in full.
Let that sink in... Troy (last name refused) stated that it was company policy to NOT provide any itemized account of towing charges until AFTER the bill was paid in full.
My wife slid her car off the Interstate near St Cloud on a Saturday morning, She was unable to continue due to damaged steering components. Collins couldn't drop the car at a service station I had located (from out of state) until Monday, so the operator said he'd take it to their lot and on Monday, tow it to the service station. He left my wife at a truck stop. My wife found alternative transportation and continued on her journey.
On Monday they refused to release the car to the service station. They seemed to think that they owned it and they suggested that I sign over the title to offset all or part of the towing charge. My best understanding of their thinking is that because MN Highway Patrol had called for the tow (my wife dialed 911 from the ditch), that it was an abandoned car, theirs fort the taking. Short of signing over the title, I would need to travel to St Cloud, title in hand, to get back the car. It wasn't until I engaged MN Highway Patrol, who contacted them on my behalf (the 'peoples' behalf, really) did they turn the car over to the service station who would complete the repairs.
Again, pressure from the Minnesota Highway Patrol was needed to get back our car.
STAY AWAY FROM THE COLLINS BROTHERS
Had my alternator go out in St Could called triple A and Collins brothers towing came to my rescue. They have a new employee named Austin he was friendly polite and all around good guy. They where smart to hire him. He is a great employee. Thanks for the tow.
I had transmission issues pulled over at a gas station contacted AAA and had Collins towing out of St. Cloud. Pick me up in about 20 minutes and deliver my vehicle to the dealership 70 miles away. Andrew was a driver and he was absolutely outstanding!
Used their services in a pinch and they provided no estimate. When I received bill, I called and asked if I were a new customer. Was quoted $300, I then asked then how did you charge me $555 dollars and got 3 different stories and finally, " well that's what the boss said to charge you" You can see the ratings, call elsewhere! RUN!
Awesome job saved the day found out the hardware battery was bad they came and saved the day very nice young man came and quickly fixed the issue with bad battery
These guys don’t tell you there are daily fees for any car towed to their lot and refuse to provide any assistance when insurance is trying to evaluate the car and make a decision. They refuse to let insurance agents onto the property and will not let you retrieve any personal belongings from said vehicle no matter how important or personal.
Oh and they’re quick to hang up on you over the phone if they don’t want to provide further explanation.
Predatory scam artist champions.
A couple months ago my husband was driving to work when one of their trucks was hauling an excavator in front of him. He must not have cleaned his truck off because rocks flew at my husbands truck. Since then we have called multiple times and been extremely patient while they say they will get it to their safety person and someone will contact us back. I called again this morning to try to see why this is taking so long and no one has returned our calls in 2 months. The lady I spoke too clearly didn’t care and just took down my information for the 3rd or 4th time before hanging up on me. If this is how they run their business, I wouldn’t ever use their towing services!

Gardner, the man who towed our vehicle was very professional and friendly, and was also dressed in a clean, Professional manner - that's pretty rare these days. We were extremely pleased with his customer satisfaction attitude and confident towing capability. We will continue to use this company, and spread the word!
As life has it, I blew a tire on my way to work. Stranded on the side of 101, my husband called Collins Brothers Towing. I quickly rescheduled my morning meetings assuming I'd be stranded for hours. To my great surprise, the Collins truck arrived in 15 minutes. The driver was very polite, professional and extremely fast. He not only changed the tire, but he also noticed a piece of the car's frame was damaged from the blown tire. Without being asked, he backtracked along the highway to find the missing piece...wow, what outstanding service! To top it off, I was only charged $85 and I was on my way in less than 40 minutes. Thank you Collins Brothers for rescuing me! I am extremely grateful and thoroughly impressed with your service.
The driver was fantastic amazing made a bad situation with a lot of stress into a situation were it all of a sudden wasn't bad and wasn't stressful at all . He was a fabulous worker ,and was able to figure something out that seemed impossible before he figured it out . The best company I have dealt with wouldn't use another service ever again . If every employee is as sharp, and friendly as him they have to be the best company in the states . I really felt so relieved after he was able to help out I didn't care what my cost was , but they also were very well priced . The cheapest company in Minnesota . Was just a fabulous outcome on a situation that seemed devastating. My family was so pleased with him.Im very blessed to have had him come help us that day . He could give A lot of drivers good advice , and help them on there skills . He was so knowledgeable. I rarely if ever give anyone as much credit but everything was better than I could have ever thought. Thank you
