MSH Auto Repair did fantastic work on my car. I brought it in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. They put it up on the hoist and found several bolts missing and broken off from the work I previously had done at the dealer! They showed me and explained how the bolts could not fall out or break off on their own. They replaced the missing and broken bolts at no charge. I was very satisfied with their work and they did the oil change, tire rotation, and alignment, along with topping off the fluids, all for about 1/3 of the cost that the dealer would have charged me. I highly recommend MSH Auto Repair to anyone needing vehicle maintenance and repairs!
We started out seeing then and liking their work. Then it seemed like they were being more and more dishonest. When I found out about recall and questioned it they were like oh yeah it is, that's what my GM guy said. So I called back and asked why I was charged for recall work, why he didn't disclose this to my husband and he couldn't answer the second question and said he needed approval. He then said since they aren't connected to the recalls they can't refund me. If he knew it was a recall he should have contacted us prior to us spending 700 out of our pocket. I am thankful for my lawyer for looking i to this for me. Honesty is so key in keeping customers. Just be honest.
Brought in our 2013 Ford Flex due to the engine light on, but I was confident it was the Catalytic Converter. Mechanic did an amazing job replacing it with genuine parts. I also had him flush the fluids and change the differential fluids. No Leaks! Runs great now with no chugging. They did all of this at a reasonable price. I am completely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone!
If you are looking for an honest and reliable repair shop, this is the place! Brought in our vehicle because of an engine light. They determined the problem, explained what was wrong and were clear and upfront about what needed to be done and how much it would cost to fix it! Repairs were done timely! Would highly recommended!
I've been to many shops in my life and have always been over sold on things because I "don't know better". This is the only, and I mean ONLY shop I've been to where I was respected, listened to and taken care of. They were open and up front with me on pricing, repairs and nothing was unexpected. IF anything came up, they were in full communication with me beforehand. I felt very comfortable here and will make the further drive to go to them every time.

I also gave MSH a five star review in the past. However, here's my update: Since last year this company went from honest an straightforward tradesman, to that of a double-speaking company unable to keep it's appointments or other commitments. When asked, if they couldn't keep the agreed appointment for a tow and repair, when they could set a time, the owner said the "conversation is over." At $130/hr for labor I would recommend avoiding a disappointment.
Had a transmission failure on I-35. Kyle was outstanding, immediately helping us out by towing to the shop and being very kind to me and my family. Just a super guy. I am grateful for that. He made a difficult situation much more tolerable and the repairs were done well. The most responsive and competent mechanic I've encountered. Highly recommend.
Hands down best mechanic shop I've been to! They are true professionals and aren't out to rip ya off. They get ya in fast and do the job right. Won't go anywhere else besides MSH!
Some people like to go mudding for fun and get stuck, I personally do not like to ever get stuck especially when I'm working. I wasn't stuck very long after calling Kyle. He jumped right on it and got me pulled out of the customer's yard within 30 minutes .

They came immediately (it was almost 4 pm), loaded my truck for a tow, stopped so I could get the part (my starter had gone out) brought me to their shop, and got started on replacing the starter, which was done in 35 minutes. My only complaint was the cost of the tow - $325, since we only went 5 miles, but I was satisfied.
I had a brake caliper that need replacing. Dearship gave me the runaround. Kyle was upfront and gave me a fair price. MSH is wonderful. I trust MSH. They may be a few minutes out of the way, but, they are well worth it. Kyle and his team bring back thoughts of how service used to be. Honest, fair, quality, smile and a handshake. Thank you !
On 1/20/25 I was traveling from Duluth MN to southern MN (coldest day of the year). When I got to about Hinckley, my car started acting up. My son found this place for me and called and they said they would take a look. When I pulled in the parking lot my car completely died. Kyle came right out, found the problem, explain what I needed and he and his team ordered the parts and had me back on the road within two hours. I broke down outside of town, about 2.5 hours from home. Called around and finally got to Kyle and even though he was short handed he still came and towed my van to his shop and worked hard to get me back on the road. He was very honest with what he told me he was going to do and treated me with respect. I noticed while I was there that his whole team respects his leadership and every customer I seen come through left happy. Kyle and the crew at MSH deserve your business if you are in or from the area. Without those guys I would probably still be sitting on the side of the road.
My partner and I were on a work trip and had a flat tire on our rental vehicle out in the middle of nowhere, we were able to get a spare on and go buy a tire. I called several shops to get a tire swap but several shops unable to help us. I spoke with Kyle on the phone from MSH and he said we gotchu no problem. The staff were quick, friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend.
Never been here for an oil change before. Was suggested by a friend to give them a try. Made a morning appointment. Got there and got in right away. Just 20 minutes for my oil change. Everyone was polite and friendly.

Every experience with Kyle and his team has been fantastic. All staff members have been friendly, atmosphere is great. Service has been efficient. Kyle has been wonderful to work with. Not only are his response times quick, but his communication is just what you need from a mechanic. He has always made sure I am in the loop with what's happening, explained things when needed, and went out of his way to make things easier for me, as the customer multiple times. Customer Service at this level is hard to find. MSH will continue to be my 'go-to' shop for my vehicle needs.
My boyfriend and I were in an accident and we needed to be towed. When we called, Kyle answered and said he’d be there in 30 minutes. He was there after exactly 30 minutes and looked to see if he could fix my car to get us on the road again. He was so kind and even helped us after hours when the auto body shop forgot to leave my car out to get my belongings. Just an amazing guy providing amazing service!
