I bought a 2007 Ford Freestar. I asked what was wrong with it before I bought it and they said nothing. A month later I was stranded in cub foods parking lot on my daughter's birthday because the ignition stopped working. I didn’t know that was what was wrong at the time. I bought a new battery and that didn’t work. Had a mechanic come out and he had to put a button in for me to even start it. Fast forward to January. The thing is sitting in my garage because again it won’t start. Don’t buy from these folks yall

Do not buy from here I bought a 2009 VW Tiguan for 2,200 and the engine light was not on then when I took it home and it turned on and there's misfires in all cylinders and 2 wheel bearing are failing and there's a oil leak and a coolant leak he seed it's a good car just for the misfires the price was 5'500 do not go here I'm warning you

Rome and Dom are easy to work with and sold me a reasonable car with the money I had available. I will be returning once I have more money for better ride. Thanks once again!!

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Took over month to get plates. Then title came after 2 months of waiting, only to find out it was salvaged title. When asked about it dealer claimed not to know. He did nothing to make it right accept make insults and a low ball offer for much less than I paid for the car. SCAM artist extraordinaire!!!

Stay far away from this POS !!! they sell broken cars . From a scrap yard . Hide the Carfax and they refuse to transfer my title to me ! It's been over 4 months to get my title . I have been talking to a police officer about the situation and still no answer....

HORRID excuse for a business and should not operate. Disrespectful of people and their time. You talk to one person but interacts with another; seems to be miscommunication in pricing. Scamming : telling people they can have the car when it’s been offered to someone else already. Doesn’t list all the cars problems so ego knows what you are driving away with. Be VERY cautious

Bought a car from here. Was very happy with the perches. The dealer was very patient with me. He was open and honest about the car and the issues it might have. I had a very pleasant experience. 👍👍

If I could leave zero I would. Drove an hour to purchase a vehicle that we were communicating over Facebook with him and he sold it to someone else AS WE PULLED INTO THE LOT!!!

If you want a lemon this is a place to go. I’m a single mother of 6 small kids. Rome sold me a car that has oil and transmission leakage , time chain bad and oil in the gas which is very hazardous and can blow up. I bought the car feb 27th 2023 I’ve reached out several times got the run around about a mechanic that never showed. You would this they would make this right NOPE I have over 30-40 different ppl say they have gotten over on them if not more and I have actual proof. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS they buy auction cars and do not get them Checked out. They both blocked me

I am writing this review not because of the quality of the vehicle that was purchased but with the expectations set of when I should be receiving plates. The dealer plates have been expired for just over 3 weeks now. Multiple calls, multiple messages on facebook and a request to send the plates over 2 weeks ago to my address that would be on the title and the one provided to JML motors. I did pay a little less for the van that I had purchased and it is still running great but as far as business practices go they need to be more on the ball with things that can cost a customer money. After many failed attempts of communication I am leaving this review for others and contacting the state today.

I'm still on the fence with this one... They get really bad reviews on line .. but I just purchased a van(town an county) and it runs and looks great .. I have yet to receive my title.. it's only been two weeks... One more week and I'll let u know in updated review.. but the vehicle is a winner for only 1500.... Ok this is an up date to my review.. I got my plate and title is in the mail... I can say that this was a good business deal for me I got a great van and Phil and his son took care of me with out any scam or bad dealership antics.. I would purchase from them again .

Bought a van here in september and haven't received the title yet. I called the state and there's a lean on it so I need a lean release in order to get the title. Headache and hassle. *update* got a call back and it's being settled. Prompt answer and quick return.

i know i know trust me im as skeptical as they come especially buying from a dealer with mixed reviews but let me tell you I found a crown jewel with this dealer the vehicle I purchased was under 2k and still runs like a champ several months later...Money well spent....I think like any dealer you have to do your diligence in the make model of vehicle you buying and maybe spend the xtra cash to take it in for a quick inspection....I truly think buying a used vehicle depends on the history of said vehicle and the condition (how well it was taken care of by previous owner) My vehicle was a previous rental fleet it was very well taken care of....this dealer has been fair and always avail to answer any of my questions he was professional from the start....again when buying a used vehicle take it down the road for an inspection there will ALWAYS been work that needs to be done on these cars buy a used car that you can afford to put money into there nothing guaranteed even if you pay thousands on a used vehicle..i dont doubt the other customers experience on the reviews left but...take my advice and research teh type of used car your going to buy and spend the extra cash on a carfax! So u know the history of your new car best of luck to you all and I highly recommend JML motors

Overall a really sketchy dude. Tried gaining info on a couple different vehicles. He gives limited info if any at all on his vehicles. Extremly short responses and rude. Definitely take your business elsewhere

If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. My disabled friend spent all of the money she had saved up on a van at this dealership. A week later they found out it needed over $4,000 worth of work. The dealership refused to do anything about it. Don't spend your money here unless you have money to throw away. They are dishonest crooks!

I purchased a vehicle from Zack in February. It has been an awesome car for commuting and has been perfectly reliable. He let me know the car was inspected and given a clean bill of health. I was impressed with his professionalism and the laid back attitude he had. I later had my regular mechanic inspect the car and they were impressed with its mechanical condition. I’d absolutely recommend a vehicle from JML Motors to friends or family members looking for a great price without the mark up of a larger big box dealership. Don’t hesitate to ask questions, these guys are straightforward and want to sell cars! It’s really refreshing!

I promised Zack this review after buying a 2004 Mazda from JML a couple of months ago...the place honestly does seem sketchy and it felt suspicious. I accused them of trying to give me a false title (one that was in another dealership's name) and almost walked away on the spot. Then Zack offered to actually take me to the DMV in person to put the title in my name and gave me a short-term warranty when I insisted on how terrible the place's reviews were. I guess just know going in that you are buying a used car and taking a gamble. Mine is still running fine after a couple of months and it's definitely cheaper than you'd find elsewhere. Thanks for more honest business than I expected.

I've drove there 2 times (2 hr drive) to look at cars he's lied about in descriptions. He hides everything bad about the cars in pictures, doesn't saying anything about them, doesn't care about the person at all just wants to rip people off and make a quick buck. If I knew it was the same place I wouldn't have came back. He told me the car had a check engine light for O2 while I was on my way. Took the car to napa to read codes; Knock sensor, and misfire. Not even an o2 code on top. Would never trust them. Car also had a slipping tranmission.

Not a good person at all. Bought a van a week ago and he keeps telling me the title is in the mail. If anyone has any tips who to call about getting my title. Message me. Would have gave him a zero rating if possible..I guess I will be seeing him in court.

Bout a navigator for a more than fair price. Mn took forever to get the title to me. But overall I liked how real the owner was. I dint feel like I was sold a car by some cookie cutter sales guys. But rather a man that told it like it was. And Was willing to negotiate and and barter. That is the way I like to do business.

Auction bought vehicles most have damage owner not helpful in answering questions just wants to sell a car no matter what high priced got a funny feeling about the whole business and owner. If you can go somewhere else do it.

Was going to look at a car who I thought was a private seller. Turns out they are a dealer ship and drove 30 minutes just to be told that the car doesn't even start. Trust your instincts and do not buy from these guys. Grimey people. I would give it 0 stars if possible.

We got a vehicle from them about 3.5 years ago. We still have no title. The fact that one man does the selling and one does the business side makes things difficult. Also they never call back . Very bad experience. Never use this dealer ever.☹️

Bought a beater from these guys and they never correctly transferred the title over so the state wouldn't release the title on my behalf. State said only the dealer can resolve this issue, called these guys and kept getting the runaround. You figure it would be in their best interest as a business to be as helpful as possible but not for these guys. Never buy from this dealer with horrible experience.

My husband bought a vehicle on 1/12/16 and drove it home. The next day 1/13/16 morning, he went to start the car and it did not start! He called the guy and he said he would come and check it out that it was probably the battery. My husband said, well if it's the battery I will just buy a new one, no big deal! Went to buy the battery and nothing happen, the car would not start. Called the guy again and he came by the house on 1/14/16 to see what was going on. By that time my husband had called his friend (a mechanic) and told him it was an engine issue. My husband told the guy he did not want the vehicle and wanted a refund, guy said no way! We are in a very tight budget and my husband insisted...the guys said ok. End of story the guy took the vehicle back plus $400. DO NOT BUY from this place, save yourself from a headache. The only reason why got into this mess was because my husband's car broke down that same day we found this guys car on Craigslist. We usually research a bit more but trusted the guy to be legit and running good deals. No such thing!!! I think is wouldn't being a big deal if the car had broken down a few week after but when the vehicle sucks from the same day you buy it...well it makes me think that they are doing more than just selling cars! I will be contacting the police department and the BBB.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER. horrible car dealer. sold me a car with a bad motor. said it was spark plugs but the engine needed to be replaced. then they still haven't sent me the tabs or title.

Coming up on seven weeks after buying the car and I've still not received the license plates and title. Four of those weeks were spent calling almost every day to ask a dead phone with no voicemail during their business hours or a guy promising to do it later that day or the next day. Never happened. I had to go to the Attorney General to ask for advice and get the license plates nearly four weeks after the temporary license expired. Paid a good 90-some dollars for the privilege of waiting that month and three hours in a DMV. STILL don't have the title, so the state is about to get that from the dealer directly for me. Looking to sue this guy if he doesn't pay the difference between what he promised he'd provide (the title and license plates, included in the cost of the car) and what he did provide (only the car and the bill of sale).
