Do NOT purchase a vehicle here. Will lie straight to your face saying it’s mechanically sound while it definitely is not. I have had my vehicle a little over 2 weeks now. Week one I had to replace the catalytic converters! The shop I took it to says the catalytic converters were junk and someone had tried to temporarily fix them. On top of that it smelled strongly of gas and come to find out the hose was broken and replaced with another that is clearly not meant to go there and clamped on! This is not allowing me to post a picture but I definitely have a picture. I stressed very much that I needed a reliable vehicle as I am a single mother with 2 children and this is the CRAP I get. Highly disappointed and warning to not waste your money here!!

Very Good experience we bought a Toyota Sienna van. Gage and Josh are very nice to work with definitely not pushy on trying to make you buy something you don’t want like other dealerships around. Will be coming back for sure!

Our family car totally died unexpectedly in December and we didn’t know what we were going to do. We called gage at LAAS and told him what we needed. The same day he found us the perfect SUV in our price range. When we got there he patiently walked us through everything. He was very respectful and kind and actually listened to us. I have been to a lot of dealerships in my life and this one stands out as the gold standard. Gage is the best salesman I have ever done business with! I can’t recommend LAAS enough!

I bought a high mileage used Honda Ridgeline which broke electrically down 8 miles after purchase. LAAS had a Honda dealership diagnose and replace faulty relays at their cost, even though the vehicle was not warranteed. They are willing to work with the customer to perform required repairs to get the truck running. After I had maintenance related repairs/replacements performed, the truck is now running solid and reliably.

I had a great experience buying my car at Lakes Area Auto Solutions!! I worked with Gage and he was great! Gage was patient, personable, answered any and all questions I had, and made the car buying experience straightforward and simple for me. I love the car I’ve purchased and would definitely recommend to anyone to shop here!!

So where to start.....first of all Josh, Gauge, and the mechanic (don't know his name) were friendly and straight forward. So in August I bought a 08 tundra from gauge and had it a month or so and then one day I went to start it and nothing went down the list starting with fuel and it wasn't getting any so I replaced the pump and pump control module (while doing that I noticed that one of the leaf springs was broken and it was an old brake. Also there was a huge hole on top of the muffler). I got it running again and then nothing amd it was throwing a code so I looked out up and the internets said the ecu was bad (shit). I went to auto solutions and talked to Josh and told him about the leaf spring, muffler, and ecu and the first 2 they should've seed when inspected and never had sold it as is. We worked.put a deal where they would replace those things for half the cost. They did the work and spent hours trying to get the truck running again after putting the new ecu in and couldn't get it to run so Josh called me and said we can't get it running and we are gonna take it to lake country toyota. He also told me that the work they did for me wouldn't coat me a dime (I am very grateful for that). When they replaced the leaf springs they didn't replace the u-bolts (and even I know you have to when replacing leaf springs) but anyway my overall experience with auto solutions was ok. I really do appreciate that Josh stepped up and took care of what he could and when they couldn't figure it out he comped me on those parts amd labor so Thanks Josh

Lakes Area Auto solutions will be our go to for future car sales/purchases! The staff was willing to work with our limited income and were able to come up with a solution that was perfect for us! They were so nice and made sure we knew exactly what was going on, no big words or confusing numbers! I also had my feral two year old with and they were so patient with him!

Gage was so helpful helping us find the right van. He was understanding of what we needed, what we liked, and gave us a great trade in. We are so happy we went with Lakes Area. When our Toyota from them finally breaks down in like 20 years, we will be back ;) Thank you Gage and Josh!

I am extremely blessed to come in contact with Lake Area Auto solutions , I got scammed with a 2013 Chevy Equinox from a lady in the cities now you would think woman to woman she’d try to help me out find something that’s good for me that’s reliable with her knowing I am a college student and I do live in Texas as I am only in Minnesota for school. Instead she took advantage of me as she knew a lot about me, she sold me a 2013 Chevy Equinox for $6000 and the whole frame was rusted at the bottom . Now when you are trying to find a car you don’t think you’d have to look at the bottom of a car to see if it’s rusted out lol just the basics like how does it drive ? Any oil leak ? Any lights on ? Tires ? Etc but for my fellow peers always look , she claimed she didn’t know that it was like this but 2 days later she started posting her new car guess what her new car was ? A Porsche a brand new Porsche from the lot . Crazy how I have her $6000 dollars and two days later she has a brand new Porsche. But god don’t like ugly . I found out I had an oil leak in the equinox and so I brought it in as soon as I knew . Auto Corral who has been great to me as well took a look and showed me the rusted out frame and told me this was not good to be driving and that it was very bad . , I got in contact with Josh and Gage from the owner at Auto Corral Joe he referred me to them , very sweet and understanding gentleman probably one of the nicest and understanding guys I’ve ever met . I told them my situation and they did everything in their power to help me with a trade in . I wanted to cry because most people don’t care , but they did . They took the equinox and sold me a 2011 Ford Explore that is doing great. A lot of weight has been taken off of my shoulders because these guys. This just shows there are some good people in the world who are willing to help you and NOT scam you . I will definitely recommend Lake Area Auto Solution . Thank you guys so much for your help . I worked with Josh to purchase a vehicle that fit our family as we had to get rid of one of our cars since it was too small and we’re due for another. He was very kind, attentive and easy to talk to and work with. I wont hesitate to come back in the future if I need another vehicle!

Jeff the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. He literally blamed my mechanic boyfriend who use to even work there for the owner for my car getting a nail in it in our driveway that wasn't even in my tire and I don't park in his garage where he works on vehicles. I've never saw a car dealer be so disrespectful when a car had a problem after just buying it. I'm glad our friend said his cars were overpriced. I won't ever buy another car there or ever have my vehicle fixed there again. He even had the nerve to be mad I had to answer phone calls after missing appts due to my tire needing to be fixed at my doctor's appointment. Irs really too bad because his son gave us actually very respectful, personable and not pushy at all. He was very polite to me and my boyfriend in purchasing the car. Obviously when he needed to be gone to care for his family his dad decided to be rude to his customers. He doesn't set a very good standard for a family business or for his son. Very disappointing as a family run business. I would not recommend any single parents come here because you will be treated disrespectful. Also, if you have a family member whose a mechanic they will treat them like they are stupid at least the owner Jeff does.

My wife and I had bought A 2013 ford F150 from lakes area auto solution about a month ago on a trade in. And so far it has been a great truck for us! It was a great and quick experience as well with the owner Josh. Who was very willing to work with us on a trade in of a vehicle that needed work and just wasn’t right for our family. He got us in a truck that was better suited to our needs. And he was very patient with us even though we had our two young kids with us (4year old and 6month old) the truck itself has been great. Maybe a few minor things to repair in due time. But that’s to be expected with a used vehicle. It was overall a great, fast, easy and pleasant experience buying a car from here. Would highly recommend. An honest car salesman can be hard to come buy. But I genuinely feel we found one here with josh and his team at lakes area auto solutions.

This dealership was one of the best experiences I have ever had dealing with a trade. They not only worked within our budget, they gave us a great value for our trade. Once we got our golf cart that we wanted so badly, we found the brakes didn't work right. They came same day and got it and returned it on a Saturday morning!!! Thank you to the driver who was so kind and to the business that actually cares about customer safety and satisfaction. I would highly recommend going here if you want the best buying experience.

Very nice guys, very flexible and joyful, talkative and kind guys as usual midwestern people. Quickly unloaded, easy in and out but it would be better to come late at night or very early in the morning bc it’s very busy spot of Valvorine oil change place and Casey’s store.
